There were so close
And I couldn't help but feel my heart melt
I mean I didn't take a shower in a few days
My bathroom was broken
What could I do?
My clothes were old but comfortable
I'm sure my appearance smelt of smoke
Not to mention ammonia
How could they be so close?
Couldn't they see I was ugly?
Maybe it was because of the cat
Not one word was said about me
Though a lot of words don't get said TO me
I didn't know them
And they didn't know me
But yet I felt so close to them
I guess I know what a friendly first impression feels like now
