"Where is she?" Lauren asked Dinah who looked down and shook her head. Two weeks, Two weeks since she last saw Camila. Two weeks since the incident, and it was now the last day of school.

"She's not coming to school Lauser." Dinah said sadly. Lauren sighed and looked down as well, slumping on her seat and leaning on her table as she looked at the empty seat beside her. She tried contacting the brunette, but there was never an answer. She reached Camila's social medias and even her email address but the brunette never replied to any of it.

"You guys look really good in the brochures." Normani said as she tried to lighten up the mood, only to make the raven slump down badly. Why did she have to be different?

"Alright class! The rest of the period is all yours. Enjoy your summer vacation!" Mr. Miller said as the class cheered on.

"Ms. Jauregui, Ms. Hamilton, please stay." Mr. Miller instructed. Dinah sighed and got up as she waited for both girls outside the room.

"Laur, get up." Normani said while Lauren sighed, standing up and fixing her things. This was not how she expected the last remaining days of classes.

"I would like to offer you to take my classes for next year, I've seen your records. I'm confused as to why you never decided to go to the Star Section." Mr. Miller said.

"The truth is Mr. Miller, we wanted to. But there's a part of us that likes to lay low, be chill. Other students from this section are very competitive and we don't want that." Normani said while the man nodded in understanding.

"But upon sitting in your class for the rest of the school year. I've realized that it's not really how students think it is when you're in the SS, in fact it's more laidback here." Normani chuckled.

"So what do you both girls say? Will you join my student list next school year?" Mr. Miller asked hopefully.

"I could you two more extra smart girls. Not to mention, all arounders."

"Laur?" Normani asked while Lauren gave out a soft smile.

"Sure Sir." Lauren said.

"If she agrees, then why not?" Normani smiled.

"Great! I'll expect you this enrollment in July alright? Enjoy the summer girls! Oh and Ms. Jauregui? Kudos to you and Ms. Cabello for gathering more students to enroll this coming school year. We already have tons of calls and tons of reservations for transferees." Mr. Miller grinned while the raven let out a soft smile.

"Thank you sir." Lauren said before she waved goodbye to the man.

"What's up gloomy?" Dinah chuckled, Lauren had been a gloomy bubble since the date.

"Shut up." Lauren mumbled.

"Do you have any idea to why Camz didn't show up for school?" Lauren asked Dinah, clinging onto her shoulders.

"Aunt Sinu says she's sick, I went there the other day she really didn't talk much. Walz was just laying there on the bed, either grunting in pain or sleeping." Dinah sighed. The Polynesian didn't know about the date that happened the last time, all she knew was Lauren and Camila were the last ones to go home because of the brochures.

"I see." Lauren sighed.

"She'll be fine Lauser, if you want to. I can give you the address to their house, but I need to ask Aunt Sinuhe for permission first." Dinah said, the raven's eyes lit up as she gave a nod.

"Please do Dj, please do." Lauren said.

"I'm still confused as to why you guys haven't made things official yet." Dinah said. Lauren felt guilty, Camila wanted to but it was her who pushed the brunette away.

"Dj, isn't that your Mom?" Normani said as she pointed at a woman waving at the Polynesian by the hallway.

"Oh shoot! I totally forgot, we're going to LA for a few days. I'll see you soonest!" Dinah said as she hugged both girls.

"Bye, keep safe." Normani said as Lauren gave her a soft smile.

"Can I be honest?" Lauren sighed, Normani gave her a reassuring smile.

"It was my fault why the date ended up badly." Lauren confessed.

"Camila told me what she felt sincerely, and I kissed her and cut her off then said I was sorry." Lauren mumbled.

"What the heck is wrong with you? Don't you like her as well?!" Normani exclaimed.

"I do like her too!" Lauren replied.

"I confessed to her Mani, I told her who I really am." Lauren sighed.

"She got scared?" Normani asked as they entered Lauren's car.

"I don't know. All I remember is that she was shocked, and she kept pacing back and forth and all that then she said I was right we couldn't happen." Lauren mumbled.

"Did she say why?" Normani said.

"I don't know, she was probably scared of me. But I wasn't gonna kill her or something, Mani I like her. I've never felt this way before." Lauren confessed.

"I wanted to come clean on our first date, Camila was so accepting. You all accepted me for who I am, despite the you know difference down there." Lauren mumbled shyly. The green-eyed girl was born different, it was another thing she hated about herself. She hated a lot about herself, but with Camila reassuring her? She learned to accept things as it is.

"Laur, we don't care if you were born with a different drive or anything. We still love you, and we will always do." Normani said, hugging her bestfriend.

"So yeah. I wanted her to know the real me, I confessed. But I never really said I was a Vampire, I only showed her my nonexistent shadow and she got shocked. She did mention saying she imprinted on me, then all she said was I was right. We couldn't be together, then left." Lauren mumbled, the blue-haired woman then slapped her bestfriend's knee.

"Ouch! What was that for?!" Lauren exclaimed.

"You idiot!" Normani groaned.

"What did I do?!" Lauren said.

"Gosh Lauren. Did you know what that means?!"

"Mani, if I do am I going to-"

"You fucking idiot, she marked you. She imprinted on you! You're bound to be together." Normani exclaimed.

"What do you mean?" Lauren asked dumbfounded.

"Oh no." Normani mumbled in realization.

"Laur, she's right. You can't be together." The blue-haired woman asked.

"Why? I clearly don't understand." Lauren chuckled.

"She's a werewolf. She imprinted!" Normani exclaimed. Lauren felt like a bucket of cold water had gotten splashed into her.

"Fuck." Lauren said as she bumped her head on the stearing wheel.

"Fuck indeed." Normani said.

"Does that mean Dinah?" Normani said while Lauren looked at her.

"It could be.." Lauren said.

"How could I forget that imprinting is a werewolf's thing?!" Lauren groaned.

"I only realized it now, two weeks ago I thought she was referring to the hickey on my neck." Lauren said bashfully.

"That's why she's probably sick Lauren!" Normani exclaimed.

"If a werewolf imprints on someone, and they get declined it's either they make sure to make the woman fall or they end up heartbroken. If a werewolf loses his mate, he stops phasing and die of old age." Normani read out loud.

"It says there that He, if it's a he then it must be a guy thing. But why did she imprint on me?" Lauren asked confused.

"Shush! We are in the modern generation Laur. Jeez!" Normani said as she read through her book.

"But I don't know.." Normani said as she looked at Lauren.

"I need to get home, I need to tell mom and dad about this." Lauren said before looking around.

"Now." The raven said, just like that-Normani teleported them to the Jauregui's parking lot. Like Lauren, Normani is another Vampire who had Teleportation and Mist as her ability.

"Shit!" Michael exclaimed as a car appeared out of nowhere.

"Sorry!" Normani apologized as she got out the car.

"Dad, where's Mom? I need to talk to you." Lauren said panicking.

"She's inside Flaca, what is it?" Michael asked.

"Let's go inside." Lauren said sternly, as soon as they went inside the green-eyed girl started telling what happened. Both Michael and Clara were oriented about Camila, in fact they even helped Normani and idea for what to cook for Lauren.

"Ay Lauren Michelle you idiot!" Clara said as she hits the raven's arm.

"Mom!" Lauren grumbled.

"Go to their house and fix things now!" Clara exclaimed.

"Wait what? You're not mad?" Lauren asked, looking at her mother in disbelief.

"You can't help who you fall for. Love is love mija." Clara smiled.

"And in your case, Camila does have those feelings for you." Normani butted in.

"But we're natural enemies and all that shit." Lauren said dumbfounded.

"I know, but there is already a history of a werewolf imprinting on one of us. It's not new anymore." Clara chuckled.

"Your relationship will be different from others, You must learn to be strong alright? Mami and I will be here to protect you and Camila." Michael said as he hugged his daughter.

"Now fix things Flaca, if it's been happening for weeks now the poor girl may probably in bad shape." Michael said as he kissed her forehead.

"Do you like Camila?" Clara asked, raising her eyebrow.

"Mom, we've been over this." Lauren said shyly.

"She doesn't like her. She loves her." Michael teased earning a slap on the arm.

"I can't see her yet, Dinah hasn't texted me the address yet." Lauren sighed as she walked to the living room, slumping on the couch.

~

"Camila, mija. You've been skipping school for days now. It's the last day, why don't you go to school?" Sinuhe said as she entered her room.

"I don't feel good Mom." Camila said as she curled up into a ball in her room.

"Camila, mija. If you don't go to school. You won't see your soulmate." Sinuhe chuckled as she teased her daughter.

"I don't want to see her mom, we can't." Camila said.

"Sweetie, you imprinted on her already. Humans are very-" Sinuhe chuckled.

"She's a vampire mom." Camila blurted out.

"Oh." was all her mother could muster.

"See, I told you. I can't." Camila said as tears started to form her eyes.

"Mija, we can't help who we fall in love with. We can't help who we imprint on." Sinuhe smiled.

"Yes, your love might be unusual. But if you lose this Vampire, you yourself will be in agony." Sinuhe sighed.

"Let me tell you something about Grandpa Jacob." Sinuhe smiled.

"He was the strongest of the pack. His father was a werewolf and it imprinted on a vampire. Life was not easy, but he didn't mind. Life will be not that easy for you and your Vampire, but I'm certain things will escalate normally." Sinuhe grinned.

"But Dad-"

"Why do you care so much about your father's rules and beliefs? You are different from us mija. You're in the modern world. I will always protect you." Sinuhe said as she kissed the brunette's forehead.

"Hang on, let me take this call." Sinuhe said as she answered the call. The brunette on the other hand closed her eyes as she remembered a few details about her life since Lauren came.

"How did you know this was my favorite?!" The green-eyed girl exclaimed as she opened the picnic basket. Camila had cooked her favorite Cuban dish.

"You mentioned it a few months ago." Camila smiled as she looked at the city in front of them. Lauren couldn't help but smile at the sight beside her. Camila had both her hands leaning behind her back, her eyes twinkling at the sight of the view.

"How was it?" Camila giggled as Lauren looked at her with a spoonful.

"Don't!" The brunette said as she realized Lauren was going to speak. Lauren shyly swallowed the cuisine before speaking up.

"It's so good. You and my mom would get along instantly!" Lauren smiled, Camila couldn't help but blush. With a little help or Normani, she was able to recreate Clara's recipe-Who Clara herself wrote down the specific instructions on how Lauren likes it.

"I'm serious, if she tastes it she'll get jealous. Yours is a tiny bit better." Lauren giggled.

"You're just saying that." Camila laughed wiping the sauce off the corner of Lauren's lips.

"Thank you for this Camz." Lauren called out for the brunette who was currently watching the stars as they talk. Lauren couldn't help but check the brunette out, biting her lip softly as her mind wandered to a lot of things.

"You're desiring me again." Camila teased as she looked at Lauren from her peripheral view.

"I was not!" The green-eyed girl defended, looking away and trying to hide the blush on her cheeks.

"Look at me." Camila ordered.

"No."

"Lo, look at me." Camila chuckled, Lauren continued to look away from her.

"Ah!" The green-eyed girl exclaimed when she felt herself get tackled to the ground.

"Camz! Stop!" The green-eyed girl exclaimed when Camila started tickling her, and sitting on her tummy.

"Admit it!" Camila teased.

"Okay fine! I was! I was!" Lauren laughed.

"Of course you were." Camila teased winking at Lauren. The brunette was about to get off her, when Lauren held her in place.

"Lo." Camila said, Lauren gave her a grin.

"What?" The green-eyed girl said as she sat up, still holding Camila in her lap.

"Let me go." Camila giggled.

"You brought this upon yourself."  Lauren teased as she gently held Camila's thighs, holding the brunette in place.

"Oh yeah?" Camila smirked as she fixed her position, wrapping her legs around Lauren's body.

"Yeah." Lauren smirked pulling her close, the tension was clearly there. If anyone would've seen them, they would probably yell at both girls to just kiss already.

"You know, You stole a kiss from me." Lauren teased as she gently looked up at Camila.

"I did? I'm sorry. I was very.. Tempted." The brunette played along, placing her hands on the raven's shoulder. Gently hovering her lips above Lauren's.

"You were? What if I were to say.. I'm tempted now." Lauren breathed out as she looked at Camila's now darker eyes, while the brunette gave her a seductive smile.

"If you want, I can return it." Camila said innocently, gently leaning in.

"I'd be pleased if you do." Lauren said before feeling the younger one's lips against hers. The kiss sent Lauren's body to cloud nine, Camila's lips were as soft as she remembered it. It was slow, yet satisfying. The green-eyed girl pulled Camila close, as she gently licked the brunette's lip asking for entrance. The younger one parted her lips slightly and Lauren took the chance to deepen the kiss.

"Lo.." Camila breathed out as the green-eyed girl moved from her lips, to her neck while Camila's hand tangled with the raven's hair before pulling Lauren away from her and capturing the raven's lips once more. This time, the kiss was rougher.

"Camz.." Lauren moaned as the brunette sucked on a spot below her ear, marking it.

"Calm down." Camila giggled as she felt something below her. The brunette then pulled away from Lauren's neck, kissing her lips in a chaste kiss.

"Let me go." The brunette giggled as she tried to move away from Lauren's lap.

"No, you're warm." Lauren smiled, placing another kiss on Camila's lips.

"Lo, you're literally poking me." Camila mumbled shyly, while Lauren quickly placed the brunette down her.

"Shit." The green-eyed girl mumbled as she stood up, trying to play it cool.

"Do you wanna go for a walk?" The brunette smiled as she stood up as well, trying to lighten up the situation.

"Sit down, let me push you." Lauren instructed as they walked by the swing.

"No." Camila laughed.

"Come on! I saw it in the movies, it's romantic." Lauren teased.

"If that's the case, then why don't you sit down? I'll push the swing." Lauren shook her head.

"Nooo. You sit down." The green-eyed girl whined.

"That's not fair! You're using that against me all the time." Camila complained as she looked at the pouting Lauren beside her. The raven grinned as Camila gave up and sat down the swing.

~

"Mija, that was Dinah. She's going to LA for a few days, she says she wanted to come by and give a proper goodbye but she needs to pack her things." Sinuhe said as she walked back in the room, cutting her daughter out of trance.

"Wait, it's just 11 am. Does that mean she's absent?" Camila asked.

"No mija, the school gave them the rest of the day as their headstart for Summer." Sinuhe smiled.

"You know, I've gotten the brochure the school sent out."

"Mr. Miller said the school owes you and Lauren big time for increasing the enrollees and transferees the next school year." Sinuhe informed her daughter.

"He even sent me the brochure, see?" The woman smiled as she showed the brochure. Camila felt her heart hurt as she saw Lauren's picture, remembering how the green-eyed girl only said three words and her confidence was already boosted.

"You have a good taste." Sinuhe teased.

"Mom.." Camila frowned.

"Ay mija, if you're going to mope here all summer and whine about the differences. I suggest you go and talk to Lauren instead, persuade her." Sinuhe said.

"Mom, I can't. She probably doesn't like me anymore that I ran away from her, she probably thinks I was scared. Gosh where do I start!" Camila exclaimed.

"You should start by answering her call." Sinuhe winked as she looked at Lauren's name on her daughter's phone. Camila looked up at her Mom and gulped before answering it.

"Camz." Lauren's voice breathed out. She definitely missed the green-eyed girls voice. She purposely did not respond to the messages, but she missed her voice.

"I'm worried about you, I'm here outside your house." Lauren said. As soon as the brunette heard it, she quickly jumped to the window her heart beating faster as she saw Lauren standing there, with flowers in her hand.

"Why didn't you knock or something?" Camila asked while Sinuhe chuckled.

"Ay, mija. Lauren's a vampire she cannot come near or inside the house unless invited." Sinuhe said as Camila turned to her mom, then back at Lauren.

"Oh, uh. Come in." Camila said, as soon as she blinked, Lauren was out of her sight. Startled when someone was knocking on her door's room.

"May I?" Lauren asked from the hallway.

"Come in." Camila said.

"Good Afternoon Mrs. Cabello." Lauren greeted as she smiled at her.

"My name's Lauren I-"

"She already knows Lauren." Camila said, Lauren bit her lip in embarrassment.

"You know how to pick a fine woman don't you?" Sinuhe teased as she looked at Lauren. While the green-eyed girl shyly smiled.

"I'll leave you two to talk." Sinuhe smiled before she walked out the door and closed it.

"Camila, I understand your situation." Lauren said.

"If you're here to tell me we can't happen then I su-"

"Be mine." Camila stopped in her tracks as she looked at Lauren.

"What?"

"Be mine Camila." Lauren smiled.

"I understand that you imprinted on me, and I can't do anything about it. If I leave you you'll stop phasing and you'll die and I can't do that, I already talked to my mom and dad and they were fine. We're in the modern age now and-" Lauren started to ramble on.

"Lauren, I understand that you're looking out for me but it's ok. I can't force you against your will." Camila sighed.

"I thought wolves are supposed to have heightened senses by why do you seem to be dumb?" Lauren said.

"I'm not in the moo-" Camila said stopping when Lauren quickly lifted her up and pinned her to the wall, her legs were wrapped around Lauren's torso.

"I like you Camila. I still feel the same." Lauren said as Camila's brown eyes bore into her green ones.

"You do?" Camila asked as she placed her hand on Lauren's shoulder while the green-eyed girl nodded.

"If I kiss you, will you believe me?" Lauren asked as her eyes trailed on the younger ones lips. Camila gulped as she felt Lauren's breath on her lips.

"Laur-" Camila started but was cut off when Lauren's lips locked on hers. The feeling was indescribable, something she didn't expect. Lauren tasted like mint, her lips felt softer than soft-if that was even a thing.

"Be mine." Lauren breathed out as she rested her forehead againts Camila's. The brunette looked at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"You've imprinted on me Camz, might as well be mine." Lauren grinned while the brunette rolled her eyes.

"Take me out on a date first." Camila teased.

"Alright, settled. Let me ju-"

"I thought Vampires are smart too but why do you seem to be dumb as well?" Camila laughed.

"What do you mean?" Lauren asked.

"Yes Lauren, I'll be yours." The brunette smiled, Lauren felt her heart leap in joy as she saw Camila's face again.

"Really?" The green-eyed girl asked.

"If I kiss you, would you believe me?" Camila asked, Lauren bit her lip and all she knew was that she was kissing Camila-who was currently hoisted up by the wall, her legs around the raven's torso.
