Thursday night was my first training session with the rest of the pack. Well, most of the pack. Some of the lucky ones got to go run patrol. I, however, was not so lucky.

Standing back in the forest where I first started my training, I was dressed in my shorts and work out bra. It was cold, but dull considering I was a werewolf and all. I looked around at some of the other wolves; most of them wearing close to nothing. Great, I thought, we were probably shifting today.

Now, today was not my best day. At home, I had to deal with Alice stressing about her Healing course, as well as the guilt I had from keeping her mate secret from her. On the way to school, Kellan was stressed because her mother was becoming ill again, and she had to constantly be on call with her mom's nurse. Madelyn and Mackenzie have been trying to make me feel left out or something at school, by showing me I don't belong in Ravenswood, but she hasn't tried to take me away from Casey again. Shanie has been pressuring me to show her up, but drama is not what I needed; I was Casey's mate. I belonged here more than Madelyn did. And on top of that, Katarina has been dodging me all week- which, for the record, didn't help her look better after her creepy hunter voodoo information.

...I didn't want to shift today.

I didn't even want to be here.

"Oh, cheer up!" Shanie appeared at my side, her gorgeous self barely clad in her white werewolf dress that showed her pure Alpha blood. It was unlike most of the girls who could only conjure underwear. Honestly, Alpha bloods needed to stop being so good looking. It would be so much easier to ignore them.

"No", I thought, crossing my arms and staring off into the distance. Through the trees, I could see Casey and Alpha Damien walking towards us, ready to start the training session. Casey caught my eye, and he winked at me before giving me a wide eyed once over. I just gave me a smirk back, satisfied with myself for getting his attention. He really didn't seem to have eyes for anyone else and wasn't planning on letting him forget that.

Shanie followed my gaze, making a smirking sound next to my ear. "I know what can cheer you up."

I blushed, seriously hoping she didn't know anything about mine and Casey's love life. Or, lack of. Despite the fact she knew we were mates, Shanie was just as clueless as everyone else about what did or didn't happen.

When Casey and Alpha Damien stopped at the top of the hill, while the werewolves stood all down the long grassy strip, we all turned to look at them and went quiet. Finally, I took my eyes from Casey and elbowed Shanie in the ribs for her comment, causing her to let out a loud laugh. Suddenly, every eye was towards us. Alpha Damien stopped whatever he was saying and gave us a raised eyebrow. Casey took a deep breath and rolled his eyes at his sister, but at least smirked in my general direction.

I patted Shanie on the back as she gave a thumbs up to her father. "All good," she yelled across the clearing, and her dad continued talking.

"Way to go," I whispered to her, but keeping my eyes on the Alpha. With her shoulder flush up against mine, I felt her shrug.

"It was your fault." Was all she replied.

I gave her a quick glare. "You made me!"

Shanie just shook her head, and pointed one long, manicured finger to a guy a few rows up from us. "Mmmm... Nathan White sure is looking tasty these days. I'd run my claws down that."

"You are even worse than Alice." I told her with a short laugh. "And she once stopped the car in the middle of an undivided highway during rush hour to tell this guy on the side of the road that he had good abdominals."

"Sounds like my kind of woman."

Shanie was going to go on when Alpha Damien walked through the now-scattered pack to us. Clearing his throat, he said sternly, "Save the chit-chat for a sleepover, okay girlies?" Giving him a small, sorry smile, I watched as Shanie gave him a very annoyed sigh. Pointing to the two of us, he demanded, "Sparring. Now."

All around us, the other pack members were already in pairs, working on some fancy technique. I watched for a while, trying to decode the quick blocking and attacking sequence, but I couldn't grasp it. In the end, Shanie and I decided a wrestling match was much more fun.

...

"You need to tell her! You are planned to leave tonight."

I crawled back into the kitchen, resting my back against the refrigerator. Hushing Casey quietly, I whispered, "Can you talk a little quieter? She can probably hear me from the living room!"

"With the way you're talking... probably." Casey laughed, and I covered my hand over the phone to try and muffle the sound. I looked around the corner slightly, seeing Alice still reading in her chair, headphones in. It was mid-day, Friday, and Katarina was already packed and on her way over for our trip south. We had tomorrow to hang around the Rogue town, and then had to leave tomorrow night.

"Shut. Up." I growled, smacking my head back on the refrigerator. I had to restrain myself from yelling out, and settled on a small groan.

Casey laughed again, and through the phone I could hear Shanie screaming at him. "Get your fat ass off me!" She screamed. I rolled my eyes.

"Then move." He so cleverly replied. When the shuffling on their side stopped, and Shanie's voice distantly yelled some curses, Casey asked me, "So what are you going to tell her?"

"I'm working on it." I growled lowly, shifting when I heard Alice set her book down. "Crap, she's on the move."

"Beth, you have two hours. Hurry up."

"I love how my mate is so supportive." I replied sarcastically. He caught on quick, giving me a snort.

"I'm just being honest. And I am very supportive." He replied oh-so-innocently. "Oh, and I got your back up sorted out."

"Thanks," I breathed in relief. Something finally seemed to be going in the right direction. "Who is coming with us?"

"Let me look... Isaac Grayson, Jordan Smith and ... Nathan White. Oh, and Shanie wanted to tag along."

Spoke too soon.

"Is there any way that Jordan could not go?" I asked.

"I guess I can arrange that. For a price, of course," He added suggestively.

"And Isaac doesn't have to come either, while you're at it." At his sarcastic snort, I let out a groan. "So you're not changing it?"

"Sorry, beautiful. But the pack is already booked for a training session, like I told you." I blushed.

"Well..." I stopped, seeing Alice glare at me from where she was just entering the kitchen. She turned her blue eyes into two narrow slits.

"What the hell are you doing on the floor?"

"I'll call you later..." I told Casey, hanging up my phone despite his protests.

Alice put her hands on her hips, giving me an expectant look. I slowly stood up brushing off my leggings and pretending like my new shiny cowboy boots were interesting. What was I going to tell her? 'Oh yeah... I forgot to mention... your mate is a Rogue who lives down in the South which is why your tattoo is yellow and you have a thing for misunderstood werewolves. And tonight, we are going to be visiting one of their cities- which can be insanely dangerous and can be either loving or heart wrenching for you and Katarina, who also has a Rogue mate. Sound good?' Yeah... no.

Gesturing for her to sit on the island, I paced, thinking of how to put it... slowly. "How... do you feel about Rogues?"

Alice shook her head, "What does this have to do with why you are sitting on the floor?" When I didn't reply, she sighed, looking away for a minute. "I don't know. I think they aren't all bad! Some of them have different values, some of them are just misjudged and don't belong in a pack. And before you tell me I am crazy, just know that they will never be happy with themselves until they find their mate. It's horrible."

"I don't think you're crazy, Alice." I told her, moving closer to her. I wanted to grab her hand and comfort her, but I thought against it. I wasn't finished yet, and she might want to use her hands to slap me when I was.

"Then why'd you ask?"

I was really slow as I said this next part. "Your mate has yellow eyes..." Alice shrugged, like what I was saying was everyday knowledge. I sighed and tried again. "Yellowed eyed werewolves live in the south, Alice..." She blinked, but didn't register what I was saying. "Alice... your mate is a Rogue."

Alice's hands, which were playing with her hair, slammed onto the island with a gross crack. She stared at me with eyes that suddenly turned tearful. For minutes, neither of us said anything. Finally, Alice asked me, "How?"

I laughed lightly. "That's not a question I would be able to answer. You know how mates work-"

"How did you know about...?" Alice's eyes were now staring at the ground, as if trying to break it. Tears were free-flowing down her face, but I couldn't tell if it was out of happiness or sadness.

Then, I caught on to what she was talking about. "Oh... Katarina Velour told me. Her mate is one too."

Alice let out a shaky laugh. "Katarina sure knows her share of history."

Smiling, I remembered she didn't know she told me about Katarina and the hunters. "She does."

Alice laughed again, before she exploded into a round of snotty laughs. Well, more like hysterics. "I can't believe this."

I decided to blurt it out now before she got any worse and refused to listen to me. That is- if a hysterical cousin was a bad sign. "And I have arranged for us- me, you and Katarina- to visit the south. We leave tonight."

Staring up at me, Alice smiled. "What?"

"...Uh huh." I shrugged, not knowing what else to say.

Alice jumped off the island, wrapping her arms around me in a tight embrace. She breathed into my hair, whispering "Thank you..." before running up the stairs.

Hysterical cousin = good sign.

...

The car ride there actually wasn't horrible. I rode in the front of the SUV with Nathan driving, while Isaac, Jordan and Alice sat in the middle, and Katarina plopped in her headphones to block Shanie out in the back seat. Sadly, Alice and Isaac didn't have any. It was actually when we got to our hotel when the usual Shanie-accompanied antics started.

As we walked through the entrance of the hotel just outside of the Rogue's town, I couldn't help but gape at the small-town fanciness. The couches were leather that had been placed gently on the shiny marble floor. The chandelier above our heads had glittering jewels and the desk that stood at the base of the red carpet stairs was engraved with little horses and cowboys. At the top of the huge staircase was an elevator, and stairs that sprouted to the left and right.

Shanie strolled through the doors that two guys in cowboy hats held open for her, in her tight shirt and cowgirl glory. She lowered her sunglasses to give them a girly wink. Isaac and Nathan followed behind her, struggling the suitcases, two of which were Shanie's. Did she know we were only here for one night?

Katarina and I shared a look as Shanie pushed past us, slightly annoyed with the progress Alice wasn't making at the front desk. We watched her as her Alpha power and woman cleavage got her two keys.

She handed one to Jordan, who was the only boy with free hands. "Have fun tonight boys. Don't get too rowdy." Shanie turned back to Isaac. "Oh, and you can drop our bags off at room 305."

Alice sighed, mouthing to me "Diva."

Katarina whispered back, "Alpha."

Our room was just as glamorous as the lobby. With sexy crimson silk hanging from the ceiling above the beds and red bed sheets on both queens, it was a room waiting to be partied in. Well, according to the Ravenswood. There was a large speaker system in the corner, which caused me to raise an eyebrow at her.

She plugged in her phone and started the speakers at a fairly loud volume. "Soundproof walls, girls. You're welcome." Dancing over to the snacks fridge, she pulled out a bottle of wine and popped the cork off. "Let's have some fun."

I just shook my head, laying back on one of the beds. Alice laughed at Shanie, saying "You have to pay for that."

"It's all on the Alpha, darlings." Shanie winked, before taking a large swig of her drink. Katarina, surprisingly, joined her and took a glass from the counter. Shanie filled her glass, and they started dancing to the beat of the music.

Alice gave me a sorry look before grabbing the phone. After dialing the numbers, she asked, "Yes? Can I get a pepperoni pizza please?"

Shanie yelped in excitement, eyes widening. She ran across the room and snatched the phone from my cousin's hand, purring, "And make it fast, boy." With a happy squeal, she hung up the phone and handed her bottle to Alice. Then, stood up on my bed and plonked down on my legs, laughing. Shanie must have been drinking before we came, because it took a lot to get a werewolf drunk; not to mention an alpha blood.

"When he comes..." She giggled, and pointed in my face. "You are going to kiss him!"

I rolled my eyes, pushing her off me. She landed, sadly, on the edge of the bed and rolled around to face me, laughing. "I dare you!"

Shanks looked into my eyes and raised her brows, challenging me. While I was no prude, the thought of kissing anyone other than Casey made me feel a little guilty. But if she was going to play this game, so was I.

"Fine. Then I dare you call your brother and tell him that you are getting the girls drunk on a business trip in his name." I crossed my arms, not being able to wait until Casey chewed her head off. This girl really needed to calm the crap down before she got us in trouble with Rogues.

"Deal. You're first, girly." She replied, getting up and joining the other two in dancing. Alice jumped onto the bed and let out a loud cheer. Katarina opened the double doors to the balcony, yelling out into the forest air.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. The girls suddenly froze, and Shanie let out a hyper laugh. Sighing, I stood up and turned towards them as they all ran to usher me towards the door. "We tell no one of this." I said sternly, and they all just giggled and nodded.

I opened the door and only saw a flash of dirty blonde hair before I grabbed the boy's neck and planted my lips on his. At first, he didn't respond, only froze; but when I worked my lips against his more, we both started to get into it. Man, this guy was a good kisser. I wrapped my arms around his next to pull him closer and he embraced me with strong arms. Chest to rock hard chest, he opened my mouth and deepened the kiss.

When I pulled away, I felt giddy. Like I was up for anything. That was fun. I looked up, looking into the shocked eyes of Nathan. With a surprised giggle, I felt someone pull me back into the room. I heard giggling all around me as I sent him a smile before the door was shut in his face. "Whoops."

Looking back at the other girls, they all burst into laughter. After that, it was all a blur.

...

When I woke up, I heard Casey's voice. "What went on over there?"

"What? Nothing! What makes you think something went on?!" I sat up and saw Shanie taking into her phone as she did her makeup at the mirror. The other girls were quiet as they got ready, but offered me smiles. Shanie urgently pointed at the clock and I looked. Holy crap! We only had fifteen minutes before we had to leave!

I stood up and rushed to put jeans on. Like he could sense I was listening through our mate link, Casey replied simply with, "Beth, Nathan told me that he opened your door and you made out with him."

Freezing with one leg in my pants, I tripped and fell to the floor. Oh, please, no! Nathan did not tell Casey what I did! I will kill him!

Shanie's mouth was open in shock, flapping like a fish out of water. Finally, she told him, "What did he tell you exactly?" Katarina and I joined her at the mirror as we waited for a response. Alice, the only one who didn't know Casey was my mate, didn't seem interested.

Casey's voice turned accusing. "That went he went up to drop of your bags, Shanie, a bunch of drunken girls pushed my mate out and she kissed the living daylights out of him."

Shanie nodded sheepishly, making a helpless face. "Oooooohhh! That went on over here, yeah." When I looked around, thankfully Alice was in the bathroom and didn't hear Casey's comment. When I let out a sigh of relief, I knew I had been heard.

"Anything you want to add, Beth?" Casey asked me with a smirk in his voice.

I glared at the phone. He wanted to be cocky? Well, two can play at that game. "Just that Nathan White is a good kisser. And you can put that on his record." With a final smirk, I pressed the "End call" button on Shanie's phone.

Shanie laughed, while Katarina stared at me like I'd grown three heads. "He is going to be pissed!"

"Let him." I shrugged it off, even though I was doing a happy dance inside. Today, I felt as though Casey wasn't going to affect me with his crazy boy games. I mentally blocked our link, shutting him out for good. "We only have ten minutes."

Finally, Alice and Katarina were ready to meet their mates. Well, hopefully they would get to. We all headed out on foot, as the town was only a mile away... and we didn't want to pose a threat by surprising them even though they knew we were coming. Rogues could be dangerous.

As we were walking, my phone buzzed once, twice, three times in a row. When I noticed it wasn't going to stop, I pulled it out. Three missed text messages from Casey Ravenswood. I couldn't help but laugh as I looked at them.

"Beth..."

"I can't believe you said that! What the hell had gotten into you last night?!"

"Never mind. You wanna play that game... we'll play!"

"Why do you guys play around like that?" Katarina asked. We were the last of the group, trailing behind. It was the first time I'd been alone to talk to her in a while, and I really wanted to bring up the hunters. But, since she approached me, I thought I should ease into it.

"It's just how we are, I guess." I shrugged. I mean, why did toothbrushes brush teeth? Obviously, because it was made for that. Casey and I were made for each other, made to tease and annoy the hell out of one another, mates or not.

Katarina shook her head. She looked down, totally transfixed with the pebble she kicked down the dirt road. "Travis and I never even thought about other people. We never would have kissed someone else or kid with each other like that. Just the thought..." I just looked at her, almost shocked with what she said. Even more shocked with what followed, "I guess that's the thing with Rogues. They love their mates so much. Because without them, they have nothing. Their mate is their world, because they are no longer alone and misunderstood. They can finally be themselves and love living. We mates stop the pain that grows inside them, and nothing else can do that to a poisoned, torn werewolf."

Looking at Alice, I thought 'At least she will be well taken care of.' Then a thought struck me. "Weren't you mated before he was forced to go Rogue?"

She laughed; a light, sweet sound. "One time," She stared, "I asked my mom why I changed personalities when I shifted for the first time. I was angrier, snappy, shyer... I wasn't me." When she looked over at me, she smiled, "You know what she replied?"

I just shook my head. Katarina spoke each word with a smiling passion, almost like she knew every bit of it was true, "She told me that fate set our paths out just like they gave us our mates. I already had those emotions, those traits in me, it just took something to magnify them and bring them out."

Giving her a curious look, I asked, "So you're telling me that Rogues already act like Rogues, they just need to be ripped apart inside to realize it?"

Katarina gave me a sad smile, "Something like that," and I could tell it was time to change the subject. I knew what to talk about...

"How did you know about the Hunters?"

She didn't seem fazed by the question and just shrugged. "My mother knows a lot more about our kind than maybe she should."

I gave her a grimace, remembering how Alice told me that we would all be in trouble if I knew. "That kind of knowledge can get you guys in trouble."

Katarina shrugged, and a cold look crossed her face. One I never thought I'd see on her. In that moment, I believed what she said about us having certain traits in us. "My mother said she'd do anything to protect me. The only people that would harm us are Alphas..." After casting a look at Shanie, she continued, "And so far, they are clueless."

"Not all of them," I retorted, giving her a pointed look. Technically, as an Alpha's mate, I was part of the concern. She should know that.

She gave me a cold look, "You're not an Alpha blood. There is nothing you can do that my mother couldn't protect us from."

"Well, maybe I wasn't talking about myself." I glared, before being interrupted by Alice.

"Did you feel that?"

They all had stopped right next to each other, looking as though they'd be shocked. When I had caught up to them, I felt it too. It was like a complete change in energy. I felt calm. I felt relaxed. I felt as if I could be free from any rule or say. It stuck to me like a bee to honey. It caused vibrations in my fingertips. "Rogue Country."

We all looked at each other and smiled, all feeling more happy than we had all day. Suddenly, Shanie gasped. "Guys, look!"

She was pointing behind our heads, looking with wide eyes. I turned, seeing a silky film right in front of my nose. It fluttered and swayed in the wind, but stayed where it was. It was a protection detail; hiding the Rogue's town from human eyes. Slowly reaching my fingers out, I touched it. It felt slimy as my fingers passed right through it with a loud pop. I smiled.

"This way," I told the others, and let my body be eaten by the silk. The moment I stepped through, I was welcomed with loud voices and the sound of horses trotting. Everyone paused, shocked by the breath taking view. We stood at the mouth of the town, with a stone pathway leading father into the trees. The whole town was built off the ground, with buildings and houses up in the trees. Children ran around the treetops, while some men were leading horses to the barns that stood on the ground. The path led down to a lake, where more Rogues sat, enjoying the sun or swimming. There was even a campfire going on down there. The only actual building on the ground was a log cabin that had a beautiful sign stating "Visitors". The back end of the cabin disappeared into a large tree. The town itself was advanced and remarkable!

Alice looked as if she was going to cry. "I feel it."

I stared at her, giving her a proud look. I knew that feeling, the first day I saw Casey in Herbal Magic. The hysterical, tickling feeling that meant your mate was near. It was almost uncontainable until you saw the one. Then you felt as though you were whole; like you never even knew you were in pieces until that moment.

Following the others to the Visitors building, we stepped into a small room with only an oak desk at the back, a door placed behind it. The girl sitting there couldn't be any older than us, around 16 or 17. She was tall and lanky, with long fox colored hair and freckles covering every inch of fair skin. Her eyes were a mossy yellow-green, and every one of her features was small and elfish. The air around her was restless and free, like the rest of the town. She was, no doubt, a full Rogue, and not just a child of one.

When she looked up and saw us, she smiled. "Hiya!" She exclaimed in a thick southern accent. Standing up, she walked around her desk to us, and held out her hand to Jordan, the first one in line. "I'm Nixie! And who are y'all?"

Isaac, being the obvious flirt he was, ignored Jordan and shook her hand. She just smiled. "I'm Isaac," He winked, and Jordan waved at her.

Nixie moved quickly from the boys, and introduced herself to Nathan. When she reached Shanie, she could smell the power around her and tensed quickly, before they gave each other friendly smiles – well, in Shanie's case a snarl. Nixie noticed Alice's tattoo immediately, and gave her a welcoming smile. Finally, she gave me a hug, surprisingly, and talked to me when she spoke.

"So I'm guessin all of y'all are the Alphas from Ravenswood?" She looked at each of us again, before her eyes landed on Shanie.

But I spoke before Shanie said anything stupid. "Shanie is an Alpha blood, the rest of us are friends to the Alphas."

Alice scoffed, "More like you're a friend to the Alpha."

Nixie gave me a secret smile, which I had no idea what it was about, before leading us away. "Follow me." She took us behind her desk and to the large double doors and opened them. Inside was obviously the inside of the tree. There were stairs carved on the inside leading upwards. At the top of them, we exited onto a wooden bridge high above the ground, which balanced between two branches. At the end of the bridge was someone's house.

"This is our Historian's house," Nixie explained. "Like everyone else in our town, it's his special job. No one is ranked higher than anyone and everyone does their part to help out. If we are going to find your mate, Alice, he would be the one to go to."

Alice smiled from behind me, and then looked down with an excited expression. "This place is so cool! Everyone here is a Rogue?"

"Yes," Nixie said. "Rogues usually settle down here, and when they find their mates, they usually settle together. Their mate automatically becomes a Rogue. But, interesting enough, a werewolves personality never changes when it becomes a Rogue-"

"It just magnifies." I finished for her, remembering Katarina's words. Looking back at her, she gave me a smug smile.

"Exactly. And when they have children, they are considered Rogues as well, but could have either a Pack personality or a Rogue one. They also could have coloured eyes."

"Have you found your mate?" Nathan asked, giving her a curious look.

"No," Nixie said sadly. "But he's not a Rogue, according to my tattoo and the Historian. So, hopefully everything turns out alright when we finally meet."

"Fate put you together for a reason," Katarina comforted her. "If it wouldn't work out, you wouldn't be destined to be together."

We stepped off at the little tree hut and Nixie knocked on the door. Almost immediately, an old man with bright yellow eyes and straggly grey hairs slammed the door open, giving us a friendly smile despite the fact he just startled us.

"Dr. Ross, hi." Nixie smiled, gesturing to us. "These are my friends from Ravenswood. We were wondering if you could enlighten us on mates."

He smiled, "One of my favorite subjects," he propped the door open, "Come on in."

We all stepped inside the small hut, and Nixie lead us to the large stand in the middle of the room, similar to the one Alpha Damien has. On top of it was a bowl filled with what looked like water. Or, now that I had been victim to it, Alpha's View- a potion that showed the viewer's your mate. This was strange, because Alphas only had enough power to make it. I elbowed Shanie and we shared a look of question.

All around the room were bookshelves and books. Dr. Ross went and grabbed a dusty old book with a leather bind and blew dust off the cover. When he flipped it open, he looked up at us and asked, "Who's the lucky one?"

Alice raised her hand and stepped forward, while Katarina slowly stepped back. I knew what she was thinking. She didn't feel the pull. Her mate wasn't here.

Dr. Ross gestured her over to the Alpha's View. Alice shyly looked up at him and gave her arm when asked. He flipped open the book, and held her arm under the water. "The funny thing about mates is that you don't need to see them to have the connection. If you lived next to your mate for a few weeks, it'd be just like living with them for a few days. It takes longer to form a link, but you still can. Usually, Alpha's View usually only works if you know your mate, but with a few extra secret ingredients it can work with just a connection or a mind link."

"So you're an Alpha?" Shanie asked. I wanted to slap her for being so stupid.

He looked up once he sprinkled something onto Alice's arm. "Pardon me?"

"I think what she wanted to say was only Alphas can make Alpha's View." Katarina stated, much more respectful than Shanie was.

Dr. Ross laughed, and gave us a smile that made his eyes twinkle. "Let's just say we Rogues have our secrets." Turning his attention back to Alice, whose eyes were squeezed shut; he took a deep breath along with her. "Okay, stay relaxed, and imagine a long, silver cord between you and your mate. Even if you can't picture him, just imagine something there, on the other side of the link. Are you picturing it?"

Alice nodded, her forehead crinkled in concentration. Dr. Ross closed his eyes, shoving her tattoo farther into the watery depths. Suddenly, Alice's eyes popped open with a gasp. I never experienced anything that could've shocked me, so I inched closer to watch. Dr. Ross peered into the bowl and smiled.

Nixie took a look too. When I peeked, I saw a cute looking boy with brown hair and dark yellow eyes. He looked a little older than Alice, but still fairly young. "Harley Grace." Nixie smiled. "He's a lucky guy."

"You know him?" I asked. Nixie nodded.

"Oh, yes! Everybody knows Harley. He's one of the most efficient hunters in town. And by hunter, I mean ridin' bareback with a good ol' rifle on his shoulder. Friendly guy, he is! He and his two sisters Gillian and Genevieve live just down the road!"

Isaac let out a howl, "You got yourself a redneck, Ali!"

Alice blushed. I knew that she had a soft spot for the old cowboy type. And with her understanding of Rogues, fate had done a good job.

"You wanna go meet him?" Nixie asked quietly. Alice was holding her stomach softly, and nodded with a smile on her face. "You guys can explore the town. We'll see you later," and with that Nixie led Alice out to meet her mate.
