They go to walk up the stairs Freya first Alaric following he's almost out of eye view when he says ''Jed and Penelope go back to your rooms''

I woke up in a white room i had no idea where i was it only took me a couple of seconds to realize i was in a room full of people i didn't recognize accept one

Penelope was right . I should go get her and that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I hugged Penelope. She put her hand on my back and told me what she did the day after me and hope kissed and she was the reason for everything but I wasn't mad . everything happens for a reason , jed told me what train station she was at and i snuck into my dads office and took his car keys i was so afraid i would be too late . but when i got there and parked and finally made it inside i saw her about to step on the train.

''Thank you i truly appreciate all you've done for Josie today.'' Alaric said, shaking her hand she looked up at me. I wrote him a note explaining that I was leaving . i ran to freya and told her i was going to my room to pack and that i don't care about anything i leave behind . We walked to my room together. She helped me pack my art supplies and some of my clothes . i opened the door to leave and Jed was standing right there

Luckily for us the train station was only a 15 minute walk from the school . Freya knew wasn't in the mood to talk so she only said the bare minimum . There were so many times I just wanted to turn back and confront Josie but i couldnt i had to be strong for her . weather she chose to stay and work things out with penelope or not penelope was right everyone
