THIRD PERSON•
A week later after having a drink with nayeon's Dad....
Jeongyeon were currently in a middle of a meeting discussing his 9 months vacation to all the board members, as Chaeyoung would be the in charge as a CEO for a while. It was announced publicly already so as to his other sub-companies Yoo Company Groups.
He was currently signing the important documents and projects when Mr. Lee ran inside and said
"Mr. Yoo, we need to go in the court right now" Mr. Lee informed
"wae?" jeongyeon immediately stood up as it seems to be serious
"its confidential..." Mr. Lee seriously said so jeongyeon had no other choice but to get out with his lawyer
"what is it??" jeongyeon asked as he fixes his sleeves
"Your uncle will be released today...other than that, the case has been filed already - siwon surrendered his self" Mr. Lee seriously discussed
"do i need to go there now?" jeongyeon went weak as he heard the news
"yes.. Like right now" Mr. Lee seriously nodded and lead the way
.........
Hours later
Nayeon got the news and decided to have an emergency leave, finally! Siwon got haunted by his wrong deeds and conscience.
She went to the court with ryujin since no one's going to take care with her daughter, but soon as they got there... She was surprised how calm the room is, isn't the court most likely to be a loud place?
"Mr. Lee where's jeongyeon??" nayeon asked as couldn't see her man around
"he was grabbing some fresh air" mr. Lee answered with a little bit of disappointment
"what happened?" nayeon got alarmed as it feels something not right had happened
Mr. Lee went to lean forward to hrr ear and whispered
"he turned down his file against siwon and yoona but jimin is already been looked on" Mr. Lee said in dismay making nayeon to jolt up and get infuriated with jeongyeon's sudden decision
"this just happened today??" nayeon asked as she freaks out with this sudden decision
Mr. Lee nodded and sigh as he feels really disappointed on jeongyeon. He was blackmailed, he was set up and yet he still decided to turn down the case? Has he gone nuts?
"Where is he?" nayeon seriously asked and handed ryujin to Mr. Lee
"in the ground floor Ms. Im" Mr. Lee answered and openly took ryujin
Nayeon angrily went out of the court to go at the ground floor, she was so right now that she even wants to shout at jeongyeon for turning the case down. He could've gotten his justice! He could've sent the two in jail and yet he still changed his decision.
Nayeon is seriously mad! When she suddenly bumped with yoona who's being ushered by her lawyer. She got more furious and madly went to pull yoona by her hair, she was so mad that she might even kill yoona in the scene
"YOU BITCH!" nayeon loudly shouted and slapped yoona
Yoona let her younger sister be as she deserves all of it, she understands why nayeon is being like this - knowing what it feels to be wronged. She let nayeon hit her and name her things she is not, but luckily the police were there to pull nayeon away.
"I FINALLY KNOW WHY YOU WENT SILENT SOON JEONGYEON AND I BROKE UP, BECAUSE YOU CAUSED IT!!" nayeon angrily shouted making all the people go look at them, nayeon was doing her best to escape the police's arms to hit yoona again but they were so strong
Yoona just lowered her head and nodded to accept her defeat as she feels guilty of ruining the two's relationship, All honesty, she feels really bad as she now understands what it feels to love someone..
"yes nayeon... Lets just head inside and finish this already, i am guilty of everything" yoona faintly spoke and walked but got pulled back as nayeon reached her cloth
"FINISH?! YOU ARE TOO LUCKY JEONGYEON TURNED THE CASE DOWN!" nayeon got more mad as jeongyeon's sudden decision popped out to her head again
"w-what??" yoona stuttered and blinked continuously as she couldn't believe what just nayeon said
"YOU WANT ME SAY IT IN YOUR FACE HUH?!" nayeon burst out more mad, she was about to pull her hair when jeongyeon arrived
"NAYEON!" jeongyeon shouted with his deep voice and immediately ran to his woman
He was about to calm nayeon down when she suddenly slapped him hard, so hard that everyone heard his skin whack.
"HOW COULD YOU TURN THAT CASE DOWN! ARE YOU BEING FOR REAL RIGHT NOW?!" nayeon shouted making jeongyeon to roam his eyes and see that alot of people are looking to them
He gently pulled nayeon away from the scene even if he was having a hard time to control her, soon as they got out he hugged her and buried his face to her neck. He cried and said
"nayeon-ah... " he cryingly mumbled making nayeon stop for a second and calm herself out
She fell in and hugged him back as her man seems to be troubled, she was surprised to see jeongyeon crying even if it was siwon and yoona who set him up. Nayeon found herself feeling bad for shouting at him without hearing him out, she didn't hear him out again.
"im sorry.. Im so sorry hon i just got carried away" nayeon cracked her voice as she apologizes
"im sorry for putting the case down...its just t-that, siwon has a daughter - i cant afford lia to grow up without a dad" jeongyeon explained and sobbed to nayeon's neck, and there he was again
Being the most considerate person he could ever be, he's magnanimous that he even thought of being in lia's shoes. Thats when she realized that jeongyeon might experience bad things, but he will never pay it back
"stop crying janggoo.." nayeon took a deep breath as she rubs her palm to jeongyeon's back
"i disappointed you again.. Im sorry" jeongyeon sobbed more and tightly gripped on her waist
"no no no you didnt... Im sorry for shouting at you! I love you" nayeon apologized again and kissed his forehead
Jeongyeon looked up and claimed nayeon's lips
"i have to do it hon.. Im sorry" jeongyeon explained and sigh
"i know.. I shouldn't have judge you that easily, lets head inside and get this over already" nayeon answered with full understanding, she didnt thinked of what will happen to lia if ever they sent siwon to jail - a person can change, but including an innocent child? Thats a whole different story.
FAST FORWARD
Jimin, yoona and siwon together with lia and their lawyers went inside the court against the case that has been filed for them, but soon as they got in - little and innoncent lia ran to nayeon and jeongyeon and begged making it hard for ryujin to see her unnie
"Ahjussi! Auntie nayeon! Please let my daddy go" lia sobbed, begging for her dad to be freed
It made jeongyeon's heart go into pieces, what more to nayeon who considered lia as her second child??
Jeongyeon's lips trembled as he opens his mouth, he feels really bad for this kid to experince such things in a young age. Jeongyeon does really have a soft spot for kids
"your daddy wont be jailed i promise" jeongyeon knelt down to assure siwon wont go to jail despite of the guilty charges.
"Im sorry to say this your honor, but my client Mr. Yoo jeongyeon wishes to turn down the case he filed against Mr. Choi Siwon, Mr. Park Jimin, and Ms. Im Yoona..." Mr. Lee announced making the opponent side go shock about the sudden decision
"i wish to give them a second chance, as this little girl is still growing... People can change, thats what i believe...no other explanations thank you" jeongyeon stood up to explain, making siwon go cry..
Jeongyeon went to their side and sincerely gave a hand then said
"be a great dad this time.." jeongyeon smiled and assured he wont be jailed
Siwon just cried in forgiveness and nodded continuously as he feels happy for the second chance jeongyeon gave. Jeongyeon then went to yoona and gave her a hug, he patted the latter's back and whispered.
"i believe in you... " jeongyeon softly bid and immediately broke off to smile
"thank you! Im sorry! Im so sorry" yoona cried in awe
Nayeon couldn't help but to feel proud for having such a great man like jeongyeon, she doesn't deserve this kind of man and yet she have him. She's indeed the luckiest woman right now
"i wont ask anything jimin.. I just want peace between the competition of our companies" jeongyeon smiled weakly and bowed at him
"im sorry for whats between us years ago even in our middle school days... I hope we could have a fresh start as a professional business man and a human being" jeongyeon properly stood up when jimin suddenly went to him and hug him tightly as if they were brothers
"Im so sorry for everything!!" he cried, but all jeongyeon did was gave him a brotherly pat in the back.
Jeongyeon broke away and gave the job to Mr. Lee, he hold ryujin's hand tightly and excited the court with such a happy heart together with nayeon.
"you did a good job there hon" nayeon lovingly said and cling onto jeongyeon
"and my next target is being a hands on dad to ryujin and to you" jeongyeon answered and leaned closer to whisper, nayeon smacke him for being too playful then suddenly cheered
"why dont we go out in a mall today? No securities watching us, just us family??" jeongyeon bubbly said making ryujin squeal up and jump in excitement
"sounds like a yes for me" jeongyeon chuckled
"LETS BUY A LOT OF TOYS DADDY!" ryujin squealed and tightly held her dad's hand
"yes boss!" jeongyeon playfully postured up
...........
The family worry less went to the mall to have a little quality as thing are slowly getting better now, the played games, eat a lot of food, and of course took a lot of photo together especially to jeongyeon who missed alot of ryujin's special days.

The family then went to a toy store where jeongyeon and nayeon let ryujin grab all the toys she wants, but as nayeon waits for their daughter - she noticed jeongyeon stopping at this specific section in the toy store, it was some car toys which she believes was a display car.
"DADDY! Is 2 toys enough?" ryujin innocently asked, as she worries that her mommy nayeon might get angry for getting more than 2 toys
"get everything you want, today is our family day - go and enjoy honey" jeongyeon smiled and ruffled his daughter's hair
Nayeon smiled as she witnessed that soft moment, making her the luckiest wife and a mother of all.
Jeongyeon continued to look onto the cars until he reached the book section for kids, he carefully looked into the shelves to find interesting bed time stories he could read for his daughter.
Nayeon found it cute and took a photo of her man and immediately posted it

Minutes later....
Jeongyeon noticed ryujin was taking too long as he already picked a lot of books for bed time, but ryujin wasnt still back. He looked at nayeon with worry, and immediately went to find ryujin.
But soon as he saw his daughter, the scene broke him as it seems ryujin was having some seconds thoughts of grabbing the toys she wants. Ryujin has a barbie and barbie doll house but jeongyeon saw her staring at the toys guns and cars, ryujin seemed to be sad too...
"what seems to be the problem darling?" jeongyeon asked and knelt down to ryujin
He then turned to look where ryujin was staring and said
"you want this?" jeongyeon asked and took the toy for ryujin
The kids looked to him and slowly nodded with sadness in her eyes, it was like she was afraid.
"go have it! Here" jeongyeon lighted up the mood and smiled, not until ryujin lowered her head and said
"but thats for boys...mommy might get mad too" ryujin explained making jeongyeon to look at nayeon with concern
"aigoo! Who told you mommy will get mad if you want these kinds of toys??" nayeon panicked as it seems ryujin was scared of her
"uncle siwon.. He told me this is not for me and you will be mad to see me play this" ryujin answered then started tearing down making jeongyeon sigh and wipe his daughter's tears
He cupped ryujin's face carefully and looked directly to ryujin's sad eyes then said
"that is just a toy honey and besides daddy once played a girl's toys before, dont worry daddy will support you to whatever you want" jeongyeon smiled and assured he'd be the most undersranding and acceptinf dad
"mommy wont get mad honey, go for it! Lets play cars too you want??" nayeon bubbly said and took a lot of hotwheels making ryujin smile and gain her contagious genuine smile
The family happily went to the cashier and paid everything they got, ryujin felt happy for the support she had with her parents - the little girl suddenly realized that she is the luckiest kid in the world
FAST FORWARD
the family finally arrived home and decided to stay at jeongyeon's since the two havent talked about of living under the same roof, jeongyeon carefully brought ryujin down to jeongyeon's bed and covered the little girl with thw comforter.
Nayeon went to organize all the things they've bought, and went to sit at the edge of the bed to look at ryujin who's peacefully sleeping. She smiled seeing her daughter tired from their family bonding, and somehow wished to have more.
Jeongyeon joined and places his hands behind nayeon's waist and said
"baby... I need to discuss things with you" jeongyeon whispered and stood up to go at the veranda
Nayeon followed in and widened her eyes in question
"im concerned that ryujin is having a hard time expressing herself, and based from ive seen earlier... She seem scared" jeongyeon softly said and held nayeon's hand
"i noticed the same hon.. I didn't even told siwon such things like that, as much as possible i want ryujin to be expressive" nayeon honestly answered
"do you promise to be an accepting mother soon ryujin grows up?" jeongyeon suddenly asked and looked behind to see ryujin
"im a mother jeongyeon, im suppose to accept my child in every aspects" nayeon sincerely answered then smiled at him
"thats my nabongs.." jeongyeon smiled and pulled nayeon closer to kiss her temple lovingly
He was relieved nayeon weren't homophobic or something, because he was certain that there are some probability that ryujin might be a bisexual or even lesbian soon she grows and knows herself more.
But for jeongyeon, whatever path ryujin will take in the future - he'll openly support her and accept her no matter what.
Love is not selfish
