"yall coming with me?" Ella asked as I pulled into Travis driveway
"nah, i'm good keep the air on tho" Suki said
"you got gas money?" i turned to look at him in the backseat making him smack his teeth.
"but yea i actually have to pee" I said rolling the windows down and cutting the engine off. Both me and Ella got out and she rang the bell. Moments later Travis opened the door grazing his tongue across his bottom lip once he saw who was there. Ella grinned before pecking him.
"gross as fuck" i made a fake gagging noise before walking in further
"wassam Yeli" he laughed giving me a side hug and i hugged him back.
"why it's so loud in here?" Ella asked but I didn't even stay to listen to his response I went straight towards the bathroom. I did what I had to do and washed my hands before leaving. I walked in the living room and there sat Ella, Travis and a familiar face.
"ya niggas know each otha ah sumn?" Travis asked pointing to me and the boy from the drive thru as we mugged each other.
"ion like how he muggin my friend" Ella said mugging him
"mind yo business bae" he said putting his finger over her mouth
"issa issue or something?" i asked him scrunching my face and folding my arms across my chest
"ain no issue" he replied harshly
"nah what the fuck C3 you know ha? the fuck ya niggas got goin on?" Travis laughed

"where you know him from?" Ella asked me
"ion know him, we had an interaction at my job. his bitch was bein insecure talm bout some why he flirting wimmie and i laughed" I replied honestly
"aye she ain ah bitch" he said bucking his eyes at me.
"she talm bout Siah?" Travis asked him fixing Ella on his lap. whole time i'm still standing up with my arm crossed.
"ye bro, ha ass doin too much cause ain nobody was een lookin at dis girl" he said shaking his head
"why you sayin it like that? my friend bad thee fuck" Ella smacked her lips
"i seen better" he said bluntly and i scoffed
"nigga you can't even get next to me, humble yourself" i laughed. "aye Ella get what you came in here for cause this nigga finna piss me off"
"ole feisty ass" Travis laughed and Ella hit his arm.
"shhhh" she said pecking his lips before she got up and took her wallet from off the counter.
"hit me when you get inna crib" Travis yelled to Ella as we made our way out his house.
"you should talk to him friend, the tension is very much THERE" Ella said as we got in the car
"oop- talk to who?" Suki nosy ass chimed in
"C3" Ella said and Suki's mouth dropped
"why you ain tell me that fine ass nigga was in thereeeeeee" Suki dragged
"bye cause he not even allat" I shrugged
"bitchhhh! everybody and they momma want that nigga is you dumb?" Suki asked and Ella laughed
"who is that nigga got Suki dick whipped" I asked
"girl please, he da hottest nigga in the A" Suki said
"after mine" Ella added making us both smack our teeth
"never heard of him" I said pulling out the driveway. "plus i'm not interested he got a bitch"
"girl you been living under a rock ah sumn?" Suki asked
"i don't care for allat, i don't even be on social media fr so how imma know who he is" I said keeping my focus on the road.
"imma put you on to him" Ella said
"secure the bag for us all!" Suki yelled
"bye cause nooo. i don't want that nigga" i said uninterested.
I pulled up to the new spot. None of us felt like getting out the car so I just went through the drive thru.
"Welcome to Wings n Thangs. How can I take your order?" The girl asked
"Yeah lemme get the boneless wings and things, with a sprite please" I said into the speaker
"Get me the same thing" Ella whispered
"Make that two please"
"Umm... I want the traditional wings meal, with a orange fanta" Suki said into the speaker
"Okay, you have 2 boneless wings and things meals with sprites and and a traditional wings meal with an orange fanta your total is 26.03 please pull up to the first window" The girl said and I did as she instructed. When I got to the window Ella and Suki handed me their money and I gave it to the girl in exchange for the food and our change. I pulled up to the parking lot and parked the car cause I didn't feel like going home to eat.
"we can eat in here?" Ella asked shocked cause I don't ever let nobody eat in my car
"yes" I laughed before saying grace and opening my food
"bro tell me why today Mr. Ralph talm bout if I don't put in extra work I'm gonna fail his class and not graduate" Suki said
"been tellin you to stop slacking in that man class you don't listen ole stupid ass" I said sipping on my sprite
"fr, you needs stop playing cause we need to all walk across that damn stage" Ella said biting her chicken
"don't do me. im finna graduate one way or another" Suki said
"mhmmmmm" me and ella replied in unison

I dropped Ella and Suki at home before pulling up to the house. Usually I'd be getting read for work right now but Joyce raggedy ass told me I had to take the rest of the week off. I pulled up to the house and saw 2 cars parked meaning Cherie was home. I mentally rolled my eyes before parking in my usual spot. I got out the car making sure to lock my doors and walked up the porch using my key to unlock the front door.
"Yeliiiii!" Zyair yelled as soon as the door opened. He ran towards me and I picked him up sitting him on my hip
"Hi papa! how was school?" I asked him as I closed the door behind me making sure to lock it.
"School fun, i make drawings" he said and I smiled
"Aww lemme see" I said setting him down and he ran to his room I'm guessing to go get them.
"Hey Niyel" Cherie said coming from the kitchen
"Hey" I said keeping it short and simple. "Serenity home?"
"Yeah she should be upstairs. Your dads working overtime tonight so I'll be cooking dinner" she said and I gave her a tight lip smile. Usually my dad be cooking cause he know how to throw down.
"Alright cool, i'll be upstairs if you need me" I said and I made my way towards the stairs. I walked up stairs and knocked on Reni's door.
"Come in" she yelled and I opened the door seeing her on her bed with her textbooks spread out and stuff. "Where you went today miss girl?" she asked me sitting up
"The new spot, my bad i couldn't get Zyair. Ella nem was bugging me talkin bout I never be with them no more" I said sitting on the edge of her bed
"it's cool. I just missed class for like the 15th time" she said sarcastically
"My bad" i said sighing. Serenity was the first in our family to go to college so I know how much school meant to her.
"it's cool fr" she said
"okay, i just wanted to check in on you" I said getting up before walking to my room. I stripped out my clothes and put on my loungewear. I threw myself on my bed before getting on instagram and scrolling through my feed.
