Andrea was having a dream with Nate, Lily and Doug in their graduation party. They were all so happy drinking, dancing and singing with their batchmate in a private pool party hosted by one of their batch mates. Until she was swimming and when she looked back everyone was gone and she's transferred in front of Elias Clark building. She heard someone called her and she found the Runway Family but she didn't recognize any of them. She walk past and try to find her phone to call that's when she wakes up.
"DAD! MOM!" They all woke up as Andrea called out her family. Emily was the nearest and approached Andrea. "Are you alright Andrea? What's wrong?"
"WHO ARE YOU???? DON'T TOUCH ME! NATE! LILY! DOUGH! HELP!" she was now crying hysterically and started to taks off the IVs attached on her as she tries to stand up but Miranda ran to her and stopped her. "EMILY! CALL THE DOCTOR! HURRY!" she hold her as she tries to calm her.. "ANDREA.. listen.. Its Miranda. It's okay. You are safe. You are safe. Please calm down.. Please. Relax.. Deep breaths." She was able to pull away and she ran to the bathroom and locked the door. "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE! WHY IM HERE! PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE! I WANT MY MOM AND DAD!" Miranda was shocked as she went to the door.. "Please calm down. We won't hurt you. Were here to help you...you have to calm down.. You have injuries all over you and your heard.. Its not safe.. Please calm down.. It's me Miranda Priestly." the doctor and nurse came in.. "Ms. Sachs Im doctor Mike and Nurse Jasmine is here with me. Can we come in?" "I WANT MY MOM AND DAD! THERE ARE STRANGERS THERE! AND I DON'T FEEL SAFE AND COMFORTABLE DOCTOR!" "Miranda why dont you all wait outside so we can get her. Its so risky for her. I will call right away when she's calm down. And can we get a hold to her family?" "Her parents died in a car crash 8months ago doctor. And why does she not recognizing any of us?" "Okay I'll try my best. Can you just all wait outside the room?" They all followed the doctor's advice.
"Ms. Andrea it's just me and nurse Jasmine. Can you open the door? So we can help you?"
Andrea peep at the door first before finally opening the door.
A: My head hurts really bad doctor. It's making me dizzy.
D: nurse jasmine and I will help you as much as possible but first we want you to lay back in bed.
A:what happened to me? Where's my family? And who are they?
D:it's been terrible Ms. Sachs I suggest will take it slow. One by one. What do you remember like what date was yesterday?
A:im with my college friends were having these party hosted by one of our classmates in a private pool. It must be OCTOBER, 31 2005.
D:Ms.Sachs today is December 4th 2009 and you are in Presbyterian Hospital. You were airlifted from Paris the other day.
A:How? Wait? How long did I sleep?
D:You were a strong woman Andrea. Your family aren't here. They left 8 months ago..
A:Oh no! This is just a nightmare. Okay I need to wake up..
She pinched her cheeks causing her to scream in pain due to the the bruises and wound she has.. Miranda ran inside after hearing Andrea.
M:Everything okay?
D:yes.. We put calmer pills. this is your boss. The editor in chief of Runway. Miranda Priestly.
A: no. I just had my graduation.. And now i got a job and went to Paris? This is crazy!
D:we know it is but you have to keep up with your health. We need your cooperation for your full recovery and safety.
A: look MADAM, with all due respect I'm sorry but I really am not...
M:It's okay.. Don't push yourself too hard.. You've been through a lot already.. This is enough. Please rest and help yourself to survive. We will not leave you. We will guard and protect you. Will be here for you.
Emily came over. Andrea she's right. We promise we will not push you to accept and remember us but were here to help you. We are FAMILY! RUNWAY FAMILY! she grab her phone and show her wallpaper of them in a party. Andrea wasn't able to answer. She falls asleep with the medicine.
M:Mike what happened? What's going on? She's suffered so much already and now she has to deal with the worst nightmare of her life to remember she's all alone?
D:I know Miranda. Well run quick test and see whats going on but this is expected from her head trauma. Based on the signs she is having selective amnesia. She only remembers life to 2005. Her graduation but this is temporary. We will work on meds and test tl help her. As for now let's do the best we can to let her feel she's not alone. Don't push her too much to remember a lot. Take it one step at a time.
It's dinner time and James finished his meal with Emily while Miranda sits right mext to Andrea not living her eyes off her. James and Stephen managed to arranged and settle the investigation as they know Miranda was in the middle of chaos in taking care of Andrea. She was devastated at the result. James went to update Miranda while Emily cleaned and updated the rest through group chat. "Sweetheart they got him. His brought to jail and the firm is working on all the papers so you won't need to go or Andrea. They will submit everything first thing in the morning. she's strong woman and very brave heart. She will get through this all. I know that for sure." Miranda feels a bit relieved for the news and thank James and Stephen. He bids goodbye as he wants to check the twins.
"I don't know you well Andrea. Maybe this is a good chance to get to know you and have better relationship with you darling. I just hope we can work this out well." Emily came over and added "We sure do love you Andrea. I hope at least you will remember that. We FAMILY!" she hugged Miranda as they hold hands to Andrea. "She's like a sister to me Miranda."
The night went on and Emily was done preparing the schedule and updates to office work as Miranda decided its better she gets back to work. And see her twins and arrange personal matters. Her itinerary includes a dinner with her whole family and decided to stay to her home. Emily didn't questioned and just follow the orders though she wonder why would she leave Andrea in that state. Inside Miranda she was crying in pain for Andrea not remembering her. She was breaking inside and she felt so sad and the guilt keep growing for Andrea. She was looking forward to start on making distant to avoid stress on Andrea.
Andrea was in deep thoughts after hours of sleep and notice that she's still with the strangers as she refers to Miranda who was on her laptop in the couch and Emily sleeping in the bed next to her. Why can't I remember anything about this people? She looks and study Emily. She tried to think of who this is. She closed her eyes and starts saying Emily's name on her head. Until she got a few glimpse of her first day on the Elias Clark. But it was quick and foggy.. What do I have to do with these people. Well, Emily you seem pretty and nice. Looks sexy and kind. Oh shit! Here it is again.. Aw!! Ouch! SHIT! Miranda run quick towards Andrea and push the button to call Jasmine. "Jaz, she's having headache again.. I think she's soon to wake up." Miranda was standing a distant as to not wanting to pressure and stress Andrea. She just look at her and the monitor not looking at her assistant face directly. "Who are you? And how did I end up being your assistant? I came to New York to be a journalist. I have no idea... Oh GOD! AW! Could you please help me with these pillows in my side.. Miranda went and put pillows in more of comfortable position to Andrea. It was were her tattoos are and she noticed it's bleeding right on time Jasmine and Doc Mike came.
A:Doc my head hurts badly.. I don't know if I can handle it.. And my side is sore..
D:I see Andrea.. You have a head trauma from the incident. We have fixed it and you were under surgery. The concussion were not so big and were able to keep it tight and it won't leave big scars. However, we believe the impact of your falling made bigger damage and puts you under selective amnesia.
A:What do I do? I wanna go back to Ohio.. I don't want to stay here... She said as she felt weirdly sad inside her when she saw Miranda on the corner silently in tears while observing.
J:Doc I already cleaned her wounds. The blood must be due to earlier when she get up.
D:Let me see.. This is better. Let's keep it cool to catch up things. I know you are very confused but we want you to live your life again fully recovered healthy and safe. Now we have some rules you need to follow so we can achieve that.
A:I will do the best that I can..
D: no moving unless necessary to minor the pain and we dont want to sedate you all the time. Please calm down yourself as much as possible. We don't want anymore damage. Now your bruises will look worst before it goes back to the healthy natural colors. Don't think too much. Take it easily.
A:well, i was trying to think and remember her.
She looks at sleeping Emily. I actually remember a few. I don't know if this is dream but I think I am in an office and she was there... And then.. A memory flashed in. It was Emily and Andrea in a bed with glass of wine in their hands. And Emily must be crying.. Thank you for being here I love you Andrea.. She hugged Emily and answer Me too Em love you too.. Friends forever? SISTERS FOREVER! They hugged each other tight and made a pinky swear sealded with an Eskimos kiss..
D:Are you alright?
A:Yes. I wanna take a rest doc. She didn't tell the new memory
D: okay. Call us if you need anything. Miranda can I have a word with you outside. Miranda followed as Jaz finished giving medicines.
D: I don't know if we have to tell her about her being. She's having a psychological test tomorrow morning. Amd the investigation team is observing the conduct. I think it's best you tell her as you are more in position.
M: I don't know if I can do that. Is that necessary? Can we give her some more time?
D: if we want to make sure Zandro will be locked up forever then YES Miranda! I know this is hard but you have to. Just take it slow.. I think Emily could be a good help.
M:Okay Mike. I'll do what I can and please be here as fast as you can when we call.
Miranda came back inside and saw Andrea was trying to get up. Andrea was hesitant to look her in the eye. She finds it uncomfortable and weird and she doesn't know why so she just look through her shoulder or the window. But not in Miranda's face.
M:Can I help you with anything?
A:I do have a phone right?
M:Yes you have it's in the closet. I'll get it.... Here
A:Thank you. I'm sorry but I wanna use the bathroom and changed alone. Can you give me clothes and help me get to the bathroom?
M:Sure. Hold on a quick second I'll get your clothes and things ready. Miranda moved fast and grab the prepared clothes and clinique. And went back to Andrea.
A:Thank you. She started to walk slowly with Miranda's help to the bathroom.
