"gon!,are you alright"
kurapika shouted as he ran towards the two
"kurapika then stood in shock as he saw kallumi unconscious in gon's arms
"did hisoka did this"
gon only nodded as he held kallumi tightly

"huh? gon isn't here"killua looked around looking for gon
satotz then looked at his watch as he looked at the road waiting for other applicants

"this way "gon said as he looked around
"you can really tell?"kurapika asked as he held the nymph in his arms bridal style, as he ran with gon
"uh-huh"
"leorio's cologne is very unique, i can smell him from a few kilometers away."
"say, kurapika what did hisoka mean when he said that we passed?"
"hisoka was acting as a juge."
"a judge?"
"yes"
"he must have his own benchmarks for evaluating power.it's possible that he was ascertaining each applicant's strength"
"apparently you, f/n, and leorio have met his standards"
"i see, but i was powerless to do anything against him"
"didn't you land your first hit on him?" a female said
the two shrieked as they looked at the now awake kallumi....
"f/n don't do that, it's scary"
"hehe, gomen"
kallumi apologized as kurapika laid her down...
" gomen, if i slowed you guys down" kallumi apologized as she was now floating in mid air
"not at all"
kallumi nodded
"but f/n, i only landed a hit on him only because i surprised him, besides, leorio and you passed, even though you both lost"
"leorio......the only reason hisoka spared him was because he had the potential to become a skilled opponent" kallumi explained as he went beside gon
"And you, he spared you from his wrath because your 'qualified'"
"qualified?"
"uh-huh"
"but, how did you know that?"kurapika asked going beside kallumi
" it may seem quite weird but i know someones personality and their intentions by just looking at their body" kallumi simply said
"really!, thats cool!" gon exclaimed with a big grin
kurapika nodded
"a-arigato" kallumi said trying to hide her blush....

For the first time in his life in his life, gon has experienced mortal fear.though the unfamiliar feelings accompanying that fear confuse gon, he cannot restrain his growing curiosity...at this stage, 220 candidates have withdrawn from the exam,
after a few long minutes of running we were finally at at the phase 2 site....
"looks like we made it in time"
"leorio....."
just then something struck into gon as looked towards hisoka
hisoka smiled as he pointed toward the unconscious leorio resting on a tree with a bump on his face....
"leorio!"
"man, that stings" leorio exclaimed as he rubbed his stinging cheek
"why, am i all beat up?"
"huh?"
"my memory is kinda hazy."
as then kurapika whispered to gon and kallumi
"we probably shouldn't tell him what had happened"
"yeah"
"agreed"
"gon"
"killua!"
"i can't believe you actually got here...i thought you were done for"
"i just tracked leorio's cologne."
"cologne?"
"that was how?, you definitely are weird" killua said looking at gon
" excellent work everyone!" satotz chimed" phase two exam will occur here, in the biska forest.so, i shall take my leave, best of luck to all of you" satotz walked out in a strange way heading towards the forest....
the big gates then slid open.....
"Will all applicants who passed first phase please enter?" a female voice said
" welcome" the female said
KALLUMI POV.
the female had turquoise hair that was tied into 5 top knots, she wore a bikini top with a mesh shirt worn over it, alongside daisy duke denim shorts. and had enchanting green eyes
'judging by her body it seems that her most obvious quality is her pickiness, this attribute fits her profession very well, and i believe is quick-tempered also' i thought as i examined her body....
" im menchi, the second phase examiner."the female said
"and i'm buhara, the other examiner" a fat man said
i immediately examined him as the female with him started speaking..
Buhara had a yellow sleeved shirt which doesn't quite fit because of his belly, and had green pants, he had black eyes and hair, with no shoes on
' he has an easy-going personality, however with a hint of trickiness in him..i wonder why'
just then a loud grumble has been heard making me a bit startled.....
"wh-what was that sound?"
"you must be hungry"
"i'm starving" buhara whined
menchi then stood up on her seat " there you have it. phase two will involve..."
"Cooking!" menchi cheered
"c-cooking?"
"wait!, cooking?, we're here to take to take the hunter exam!" an applicant said
"that's quite right. your challenge for the second phase is to produce a dish that will satisfy our palate"
"thats because...we are gourmet hunters"
' food hunters!'i thought
"huh" the man the laughed
laughter was then erupted
"man, what a letdown, they're gourmet hunters" an applicant said as he pointed his finger to the now angry menchi
the gourmet hunters menchi and buhara...their selection as examiners could prove problematic, only fifty applicants no, depending on the task, its possible that fewer then ten applicants will pass phase two.
the laughters has now died down..
"so, gourmet hunters, what are we supposed to make?" the applicant said in full confidence...
"buhara"
"the required ingredient is pork."
"pork?, as in pig meat?"
"your'e free to use meat from any species of biska forest pigs, and you only pass if we both find it delicious" buhara swiftly lied
'but isn't there only one species of pork in biska forest?' i thought
" and we will evaluate more than just the taste, don't underestimate the intricasies of cooking, got it?"
"when we've both eaten our fill, the exam will end"
"we get it. we get it. let's just start"
"the, the exam's second phase, THEN BEGIN"
the 287 applicants then ran into the biska forest
" free to use meat from any species of pigs?, you have a real nasty streak"
"choosing the ingredients was my job"
"only one species of pig lives in the biska forest, correct?"
"i hope they don't get themselves killed "
