"under the stars"

"with me?" I ask confusedly
"yeah we're friends are we not?"
I look up to akaashi and give him a smile.
"yeah we are"
Akaashi grabs the broom back from my hands and starts to help me clean. he's hot, respectful and helpful? This man could not be more perfect.
We both finish cleaning and the other managers come in to help set the table for everyone to eat. Once everything gets set up and everyone is sat down I realize that there's no more available seats for me.
"Are you sure we don't have any more chairs?" I ask Kaori
"I checked like 3 times I have no idea where that chair went." She responds
"IF YOU WANT YOU CAN SIT ON MY LAP L/N" tanaka yells out.
"BACK OFF SHES MINE AND SHES OUR MANAGER" Yamamoto stands up and crosses his arms.
"boys shut up please" I sigh
I take my plate of food and walk outside of the dining room.
"wait y/n where are you going?" Bokuto asks
"oh I'll just eat by myself on the hill" I smile
"I'll join you" Akaashi walks up behind me with his plate in his hand.
"sure some company would be nice" I smile and walk out with akaashi.
"I can't believe that worked." yachi gasped
"me neither anyways we did her a favor" kuroo says while munching his food.
"how long do you think until they get together?" bokuto asks
" like a month maybe y/n is sometimes a lot to handle and akaashi hasn't met that side of her yet." Kenma said while taking little bites of his tonkatsu.
"good job on hiding the chair yukie." Kaori high fives yukie.
AKAASHIS POV (yuh switching it up😜)
The scene looked straight out of a movie, it was dark and you could see the stars clearly shining up the sky. We were sitting side by side eating enjoying each other's company.
"akaashi?"
"hm?" I turn my head towards her
"this is a weird question but have you ever been in a relationship?" she tucks her hair in her ear looking at me.
I wasn't expecting y/n to ask me this, I take another bite of my food and look over at her.
"yeah I have what about you?"
she puts her plate on the side and grabs her knees and pulls them towards her, cute.
"not really I mean middle school relationships don't count they're so gross and cringe" she laughed
I chuckled "you mean like those relationships where you text when you get home from school but ignore each other at school?"
"oh my god yes and when you would plan to hug and shit" she got excited
I'm surprised she hasn't had a real boyfriend before I mean look at her she's really pretty, funny and fun to talk to overrall.
"why haven't you dated anyone yet?" I asked while putting my hands behind my back.
"I mean when I get comfortable around people I become a lot and sometimes people can't handle my humor they think it's mean" she rolled her eyes and giggled
"be mean to me I don't care"
"alrightt" she said as she scanned my face
looking at her made me feel warm inside, I haven't felt this way since mitsumi.
"alright I got it" she jumped up
"I'm gonna call you triangle brows from now on" she laughed
"triangle brows?" I furrowed my brows.
"BRO LOOK AT THEM" she started to laugh uncontrollably.
seeing her laugh made me wanna smile and I don't really smile that much but something about her is just so captivating.
"akaashi look" she pointed at a group of stars.
"what about it?" I ask confusedly
"THEY SHAPE A TRIANGLE LIKE YOUR BROWS" she teased me again
"your blind that's clearly a rhombus" I laughed
"not you turning all geometry on me" she rolled her eyes
"how can you not tell the difference between a triangle and a rhombus-" I get cut off by a push to my shoulder
"oi shhh" she laughed
I took out my phone at looked at the time 9:10 Pm.
"we should get going we need to be in our rooms in 20 minutes" I got up and reached for her hand to help her up.
"Akaashi you're such a gentleman who taught you" she elbowed my shoulder.
"I try to be its the way my mother taught me" I smile at the thought of my mom teaching me at a young age to respect women.
"I love your mom"
"she would like you" I say as we walk into the building.
I turn to see y/n looking a little flustered and a blushing mess, cute again.
"looks like everyone already left to their rooms" I look inside the dining room
"alrighttt so then I'll walk to my room" she smiles
"I'll walk you there"
"thank you triangle brows"
"shush" I respond as we walk to the managers room.
"I had a lot of fun tonight dummy"
"you did" I say surprised, I was definitely enjoying myself but I thought she was bored.
"yeah you're pretty fun to talk to you know."
suddenly the managers door opens to reveal kaori smirking at us.
"you guys had fun on your date?" Kaori teases
"WE WERENT ON A DATE" y/n yells out while blushing.
"I just kept her company, so she didn't eat outside alone." I responded with my usual poker face.
"yeah yeah alright, night akaashi." Kaori walked back in.
"uh anyways goodnight thicky" she got on her tiptoes and flicked my forehead.
"thicky?"
"have you seen your thighs? Thick and muscular" she laughed
"why are you looking at my thighs?" I tease her
"shut up I take back my goodnight" she rolls her eyes
"I'm joking, night y/n" I smile and walk back towards the fukurodani room.
I found myself feeling kind of sad when y/n walked back in her room, i would've enjoyed spending more time with her. I open the door to see Bokuto standing there with a mischievous smirk on his face.
"sooo how was it?" Bokuto elbowed my shoulder.
"how was what?" I say while taking off my shirt
"your date"
"it wasn't a date"
"whatever what happened tell me everything?" Bokuto sits on his bed
"Bokuto I don't know what you're thinking but me and l/n are just friends, we ate and talked" I sigh
"that's all?"
I look over to Bokuto and nod.
"not even a little gawk gawk 3000?" Bokuto whines
I stare at him confusedly what is he talking about?
"gawk gawk 3000? what's that" I ask
"Akaashi you need to keep up on the slang" Bokuto laughs "gawk gawk 3000 is you know" he made put his hands together and made it seem like he was sucking someone off.
I throw my shirt at Bokuto to stop him, "Bokuto what the fuck"
"WHATTTT IT WAS JUST A QUESTION." He lies down
I furrow my eyebrows at bokuto "no obviously not were just friends"
Bokuto laughed out "who said friends can't give each other some pleasure."
"it's not like that Bokuto" I sigh
"ok just letting you know if you have feelings for her you gotta let her know fast..you know how many other guys have their eyes on her here"
The thought of her going to someone else made me feel uneasy, we only knew each other for about 2 weeks why am I feeling like this?
