"Two more laps."

"Halfway there!"

"One more!"

"Almost."

"Gotcha!" 16 years old Camila thought to herself as she finished her laps for the day.

"Cabello!"

"Sir!" Camila said as she jogged towards the teacher.

"Good timing kid, you're 15 seconds faster than last week. Pretty good stamina you got there." The brunette smiled as she felt proud of herself.

"Damn Chancho, you need to teach me how you improve day by day." Dinah panted out as she reached Camila.

"You did good as well Hansen, 9 seconds earlier than last week's record." The Gym teacher smiled as he pats both girls.

"Alright! Go freshen up and go home!" Students from their class said their goodbyes as they headed to the shower room.

"We're lucky gym class is our last period." Dinah said as she walked alongside the Latina.

"I think so to." Camila responded as she looked at the bleachers, smiling when she saw a familiar green eyes.

"Walz."

"Sorry what?" The brunette said as she shook her head.

"You're fantasizing about Styles again?" Dinah chuckled as Camila shook her head.

"I certainly was not!"

"Sure, keep telling yourself that." The Polynesian laughed as they entered the shower area.

"Pretty fast for a nerd." Camila ignored the comment and went to the last booth to take a shower.

"You go ahead Cheechee, I'll watch over your clothes." The brown-eyed girl smiled as Dinah nodded. She was used to being made fun of, or bullied. The brunette didn't really mind the jokes they make for her, she didn't care at all. For her, Karma is always just around the corner. Camila has always the quiet smart kid in class, she's used to being in the star sections along with different smart students like hers. Apparently, she was that quiet kid who lived in a house away from the neighborhood. Some students from the lower sections used that fact to their advantage in teasing the brunette, but she never really paid attention to it.

"Your turn." Dinah said as she got out the booth. The Polynesian always had her back, Threatening and scaring jerks that had been mocking the brunette. Dinah was originally from Los Angeles, but needed to move in Miami due to her grandmother's illness. She was the eldest daughter and the emphatic one who agreed to stay with her for as long as she needed. Both girls met each other during their enrollment period for freshmen year and instantly clicked. The younger one's grandmother happened to know Sinuhe, Camila's mom. Camila had the Polynesian's back when it comes to academics, while Dinah had the Latina's back in the field of extra curriculars.

"So? Did you contact Aunt Sinu?" The Polynesian asked as the brunette got out the shower.

"I did, she'll be here in a few minutes." Camila said as she dried her hair with her towel. The duo walked out the shower room when Camila bumped into a student from another section.

"Watch it nerd!" The boy said as he entered the girl's shower room. While the brunette sighed and picked up her notebooks from the ground.

"You watch it!" Dinah exclaimed as she crumpled the boy's shirt in a fist.

"I was kidding man. Chill!" He nervously explained as he raised his hand.

"You better be." The Polynesian said through gritted teeth before violently pushing him off.

"Pervert." Dinah mumbled.

"Thank you China." Camila smiled as she picked up her notebooks.

"Here you go." Camila looked up to find the familiar green-eyes she grew to admire, holding her notebook.

"Thank you.." The brunette mumbled shyly as she reached for it.

"No problem..Camila." Camila swore she was captivated by the smile her helper had just showed her.

"Did those jerks messed with you again?"

"No Harry." Camila smiled as she shook her head. Harry was a nice guy, he was a year older than Camila, but is on his last year.

"You sure? DJ here seems to be stiff." Harry chuckled as he looked at the Polynesian.

"She's lying Harry." Dinah mumbled.

"Really now?" The curly-haired boy said as he looked at the brunette with his eyebrow raised.

"Yeah, some jerk ran her over on his way to the woman's shower room."

"Dinah!" Camila hissed as she hits the Polynesian.

"Let me just.." Harry said before heading towards the bathroom. Harry was the President of the student body, aside from that he's also a vocalist for the school boy band of the school, along with four more boys.

"All of the girls get out the shower now!" Harry yelled. Some groaned and refused to follow the man's orders.

"You idiots that's President Harry Styles you're listening to." Dinah yelled.

"Now!" Harry repeated and as soon as they heard that, girls quickly dressed up and ran out the shower room.

"Hiya Mila Banana!" A smiley pair of sea green eyes appeared infront of her.

"Lou!" Camila smiled as she waved at him.

"Have you seen Hazza?" He beamed.

"So you've caused trouble eh?" Harry's deep voice sounded from the woman's bathroom.

"What's happening?" Louis asked as he followed the man's voice.

"This lad thought it was nice to ran over Camila and call her nerd." Harry said as he cornered the boy.

"I was just kidding! I swear."

"You were? That's a shame, such a lame excuse." Louis said as he went beside the curly haired boy.

"Vas happenin Mila?" Zayn smiled as he jumped off the bleachers.

"Zayn! Liam! Niall!" Camila exclaimed as the trio appeared.

"What's up?" Niall asked.

"You have to stop Harry and Louis, they're at the woman's shower room now." Camila said as she looked at each boy worried.

"What the hell are those idiots doing there?!" Niall exclaimed.

"Perverting?" Zayn laughed along with Niall, receiving a head slap from Liam.

"No, some guy ran over Camila and they wanted to get back at him." Dinah appeared out of nowhere.

"Oh.. It's on boy!" Zayn said as he ran to the bathroom followed by Niall.

"Are you ok though Princess?" Liam asked as he looked at the brunette.

"I'm fine, thank you." Camila smiled.

"Well if you're fine then, let me just.." Liam smiled before running to the shower room, some girls were drooling at the men. While others gave Camila a raised eyebrow.

"And stay away from Camila!" Zayn yelled as the boy ran away.

"What are you all looking at?" Dinah growled at the girls looking at her bestfriend.

"Alright ladies, you may return and shower peacefully." Liam said.

"Also, please don't date jerks like him and make out in the shower room. At least, go home or something." Louis said.

"Guys, that was unnecessary." Camila said.

"Oh please Princess, You've been nice to everyone." Harry smiled at the brunette. Camila swore she felt her heart race, he was looking at her with those greenish-yellow eyes and those dimples on his cheek.

"And they've been nothing but jerks to you." Niall said, cutting Camila off trance. Niall was the shy easygoing one. He also composes songs that'll either make you or break you, He plays guitar and is a sweet guy.

"Alright cheeky lads, we need to get to band practice." Liam chuckled. Liam was the dad of the group, he was always the responsible one. He'd organize band practices or rehearsals, he's also the man to get the boys out of trouble.

"You two stay away from trouble." Zayn grinned as he pats both girl's shoulder. Zayn was somehow the chick magnet of the group, well all of them are. But he was the evident chick magnet, probably because of the "bad boy" image he was sporting.

"If anything happens, give me a call Mila Banana." Louis smiled as he ruffled the brunette's hair. Louis was the witty mood maker of the group, kind of like the life of the party. His jokes keep them both sane and insane, he's very close with Harry.

"We'll go ahead, Dinah, Camila." Harry smiled as he hugged both girls.

"Bye guys!" Dinah waved while the brunette froze.

"Earth to Camila?" Dinah laughed as she waved a hand in front of her bestfriend.

"He hugged me." Camila stuttered.

"He hugged both of us, so what?" Dinah laughed.

"China!" Camila exclaimed smiling widely.

"Gosh, your admiration for Harry strengthens day by day." Dinah laughed as the two started walking to the field.

"Watch out!"

"What the hell?!" Dinah exclaimed as she yanked Camila down before she got hit by a volleyball.

"Sorry!" Jade said as she walked over to the two.

"That was your cue Perrie." The woman glared at the blonde.

"It's fine." Camila chuckled.

"Where are you two off to?" Perrie asked. Both girls were their friends from the Seniors along with the boys.

"We're just waiting for Mom." Camila chuckled as her eyes trailed on a player that was laughing by the softball field.

"Walz." Dinah called again, cutting the brunette off her trance.

"You're obviously looking at those softball players." Dinah grinned.

"Well, I was just watching how they play." Camila said. She never really understood softball, nor is not oriented with the game that well.

"Aunt Sinu is here though." Dinah said as both girls rushed to the car.

"Sorry Mom." Camila smiled as she entered the car.

"No worries honey." Camila then leaned her head on the window as she day dreamed about what happened a few minutes ago.

"He's just so charming China! Ugh! Those dimples, his curly hair." Camila groaned as she rested her head on her bed. It's been a few hours since they got home, and Camila was still thinking of the curly haired boy.

"You're fantasizing too much I think you marked him." Dinah laughed.

"How I wish I did! That way we'll be soulmates!" Camila exclaimed.

"Dinah what if I did?!" The brunette exclaimed.

"I have to tell mom about this!" Camila said as she closed her laptop and rushed downstairs.

"Dinner mija." Sinuhe smiled as her daughter went to the kitchen.

"No Dad?" Sinuhe shook her head and gave her a soft smile.

"He's still at work with his group." Camila frowned and slumped on her seat before smiling.

"What's up with you?" Sinuhe laughed.

"Mom, when Dad marked you what did he feel?"

"Interesting." Sinuhe chuckled.

"Well, he often thought about me, often dreamed of me, and even saw his future with me. Like there was some sort of connection."

"I see." Camila said as she nodded her head, trying to hide her smile.

"How did you react when you found out?"

"Well, I laughed at first. But then realized, he was indeed right. There was a connection and I knew deep down I liked him too." Sinuhe smiled.

"What's with the sudden interest?" The older woman asked as she raised her eyebrow.

"Nothing, I was just curious and all."

~

"Dinah I swear I might've marked him." Camila squealed as she walked with her friend.

"Walz, you've been saying that for a week now." The Polynesian laughed as the brunette stopped in her tracks.

"And I've been dreaming, and thinking of him for a week now! In one of my dreams we were on a date." Camila exclaimed.

"Well if you did, how are you going to tell him?" Dinah asked.

"I didn't think that through." Camila said.

"Hang on." The Polynesian said before she went over to one of their classmates that was calling her. The brunette sighed as she leaned on the bleachers.

"Look out!" A student yelled. Camila turned to where the voice was, her eyes widening as she realized a ball was flying to her. The brunette closed her eyes and covered her face preparing for impact, wincing when she heard the ball hit something.

"Are you ok?" An unfamiliar raspy voice asked, looking at Camila who was covering her face.

"I'm alive?" The brunette said as she looked at her hands.

"You are." A soft chuckle emerged from the person infront of her.

"Thanks, I was scared the ball might hit me." Camila chuckled before looking up. Her eyes caught a pair of emeral green eyes that she swore she just saw for the first time. It was mesmerizing, the most beautiful green eyes she saw in her whole existence. Probably the only emerald green eyes she'll see. The brunette shook her head and took a step back, stepping on a stone.

"Shit!" Camila exclaimed before she felt her body move downwards.

"Careful." The savior said as she held Camila's waist, preventing her from falling. Camila felt shivers down her spine as she held the savior's shoulder, her eyes examining the person's face.

"Are you really fine?" the person chuckled.

"I am." Camila stuttered as she was pulled back up.

"I apologize for those idiots." Camila felt her cheeks redden at the tension she was feeling while she felt the person's hand on her cheeks, and her hands, scanning it for any sort of injury, before smiling at her and catching her brown orbs once again. This person was something else.

"I'll see you around Camila. " The green-eyed girl smiled as she pats the brunette and walked away. Camila's eyes followed the figure, scanning every bit of details perfectly, from the raven's hair to her shoes.

"Shit."
