Zayn's POV
I was up early, that in itself is not like me, I like to sleep but somehow I just couldn't. My head hurt and my nose was running at the same time as tickling the back of my throat. I tossed and turned not getting any sleep for what seemed like hours. I sniffed and I guess it wasn't the right thing to do as it sent me into an uncontrollable sneeze fit. "Achoo, Achoo *sniff* Achoo, Achoo" I sneezed rhythmically into my pillow, trying not wake my boyfriend Louis. Louis was a light sleeper so I wouldn't be surprised if he was awake.
"Z?" He questioned. "Zayn" His voice sounding sleepy and tired. "Louis, what are you doing awake now?" I asked, I sounded awful. "I could ask you the same thing but anyways, was that you sneezing or was I dreaming" He said, yawning mid-sentence. I mumbled a small 'yea' and sniffed again. Why did I keep doing this to myself? I sent myself into another rather painful sneeze fit.
"You alright? Do you feel sick" he asked after I was done spraying mucus on myself and my pillow. "Kinda, my head hurts a tiny bit and my nose is running" I told him, rubbing my nose on my sleeve. My nose was like a faucet, it just kept going. "Jesus, babe, your nose isn't running, I can see it on your beautiful face" he chuckled. I giggled at his silly joke and regretted it. The giggle turned into a cough which aggravated into a cough cum sneeze fit. "Achoo, *cough, cough* Achoo" the last one was rather loud because the next thing I know is Liam looking at me with sympathy from his bunk. "Z, you feeling alright? Looks like a bad cold you've got there" he said. "I'll let you sleep in, first interview isn't till after lunch" he smiled and went back to sleep.
I really didn't know how Harry and Niall were still asleep. I guess they were just really tired. I fell asleep after about 30 minutes of trying to get comfortable. Louis was already asleep.
I woke up the next morning hacking up a lung. Then sniffling and sneezing for the millionth time that morning. "Woah, calm down" Niall said. "Geez, You really are feeling terrible" he said sounding slightly shocked. "Yea, just a cold, I'll be fine" It was my turn to be shocked this time. I sounded like I had swallowed nails. My throat burned as I spoke making me wince. "That doesn't sound like 'just a cold' Zayn" Harry said. "You sure you'll be fine?" I nodded, not wanting to give myself much more pain. Louis and Liam came in and gave me some toast. I barely ate any because I just didn't feel like it. I sneezed and wiped my runny nose. I felt terrible, kind of like I was going to lose my voice very soon. "I feel Like I'm gonna lose my voice" I told them, already starting to lose it. Liam left the room with Louis trailing behind him. I heard swearing and screaming coming from the other room. They cane in saying that I had to do the interview and that management didn't care about how bad I felt. "They said that you can write the answers on a board instead of talking but cannot sit the interview out" Louis informed me. I nodded knowing partially what news they had for me.
It interview was horrible in my opinion. The interviewer kept asking me questions and I had to keep writing down my answers. Every time I sneezed or coughed, my body shook as if there was an earthquake going on inside me.
*2 days later*
"Achoo, Achoo, Achoo, ugh, I hate this" Louis said. "Thanks love for giving this to me". He sounded so congested and stuffed and yet his nose was running like crazy. " You took care of me and now it's my turn" I said and cuddled my boyfriend like he did to me just yesterday.
