It's been 2 weeks..manik was successfully keeping Nandini and Aryaman away from each other..thankfully till now aryaman did not pressurized manik to introduce manik's Girlfriend with him.. Right now he was sitting on college canteen along with aryaman,abhimanyu and cabir...girls around them were looking at manik and other boys with shy smile,trying to grab their attention..aryaman winked at them..manik rolled his eyes at aryaman...

Manik frowned and looked ahead and saw Nandini and dhruv coming together..and behind them some random students..
Manik : arya what you are saying? Kya love birds?
Aryaman : arre idiot. Tera lallu bhai aur uski nibbi girlfriend..
Manik once again looked at dhruv and nandini sitting together now..chatting and giggling ignoring everyone around.
Manik : are you talking about Nandini by chance? If yes then you should know they are best friends.. Only Best friends
Aryaman : are you kidding me? From which angle they look like only best friends to you? You can go and ask every person of this college ke do they find your brother and this chipkali friends only..ask these two, what's their opinion..cabira,abhi what you guys think?
He asked other two boys and they start looking here and there avoiding manik's angry questioning glares.. because they know manik won't like anything they say.. They know manik is her bf but before that,they always thought she was dhruv's gf..but saying that will mean putting ghee on the fire..

Manik's face hardened hearing this comment also the scene Infront of him made his blood boil..he glared at arya and said with Gritted teeth

Manik curled his hand into fist, clenched his jaw in anger.. suddenly his father's taunts seems more tolerable then this jerk of a friend's comment..
Manik : I never knew you are so interested in my brother's love life. Also from the time you saw my neighbor,you're only talking about her.. more then my brother,you look interested in her.. What's say arya?
He said looking directly into Aryaman's eyes.smiling in a sarcastic way..but his eyes were telling some other stories..they hold anger and possessiveness in them..abhimanyu and cabir knew he would snap at Aryaman any moment if he say another word now..
Aryaman : ew please..i have a type you know that..she would be the last girl in this world jisko main dekhu
Manik : of course you will only see girls who open their legs for you in first meeting

Manik looked away and start sipping coca-cola..he was gripping the bottle so hard that abhi and cabir fear it will break..Aryaman was busy now in eating and eyeing girls around but manik was still processing what he said.. Aryaman's talk made a place in his head..even tho he wanted to break Aryaman's jaw for saying all this,he knew somewhere he's right..
Everyone do see chemistry between dhruv and nandini.. forget about other,he himself use to think like that before falling for nandini..
Manik lost his peace of mind..now everything start playing Infront of his eyes one by one

He remember how he said all this casually to Nandini and dhruv..how he heard abhi and cabir talking about them..how nandini consider dhruv special. he was not able to concentrate in anything..he was forgetting his lines while jamming,his friends were confuse but no one dare to ask him anything..he also avoided nandini's call and text messages..when he is angry he hardly care about anyone's feelings..ignoring her was better then lashing out at her for nothing..
People considering Dhruv Nandini partner was not his problem..he wasn't bother about it..but what bothering him was Dhruv's Feelings for Nandini..he didn't notice or maybe overlooked it in the past but now it's suddenly burning his heart..the way dhruv blush when he hear her name,the way he look at her,always try to be around her,gets so possessive for her.taking her in prom,gifting her special dress. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath trying to calm himself..he needs to see her and talk to her now..he checked how many time she called and messaged him..he called her but now it was showing not reachable..so he decided to search for her cause it's her break time..he looked around canteen but didn't find her so went toward her classroom but she wasn't there too..he saw a random nerdy dude with glasses in the room so he went toward him and asked
Manik : Hey you..come here
The guy became nervous seeing the big bad boy of the college calling him..he went toward manik with slow steps..
Manik : You are from this class na? Nandini ko kahi dekha hain?
The guy : nandini? nandini murthy? Woh choti si? Gol.....
Manik : ha wohi short girl with round round cheeks..you saw her going somewhere?

Manik rolled his eyes and start going but the guy called him from behind and said

Manik looked behind while giving him death glare..he marched toward the guy and grabbed his collar and said
Manik : I don't remember asking you about dhruv? Did i?
The guy start sweating seeing manik this angry..
Manik : ANSWER ME. DID I?
He shouted making the boy shit scared..the poor boy closed his eyes and replied manik while stammering
The guy : actually me..mene isiliye kaha kyun ki Jaha woh ladki hoti hain,dhruv wohi rehta hain mostly.. they're always together..sacchi!!
Manik : SHUT THE FUCK UP OR ELSE I'll BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF YOU BITCH!!
He pushed the guy and stormed out of the room.. it's like today everyone planned and plotted to make him mad..He was walking toward library but stopped seeing Both Nandini and dhruv coming out..he hid behind a wall..nandini was carrying many books and some start falling from her hand..she made a cute pout and start collecting..dhruv also bend down and start helping her.. while nandini was too busy in picking books,dhruv was staring at her lovely.. it's like he can see nothing else around him other then her.. And Manik know this look.. Because he looks at nandini in the same way like dhruv is looking at her..like a lover!!
Suddenly what Manik is feeling,is no more jealousy or possessiveness..It's insecurity!! Some deep rooted insecurity..
Manik gulped hard and left from there without looking back..without meeting or telling anyone he took his guitar and start going out of the college..when he was about to start his bike someone grabbed his hand..he looked at the person and it was Nandini..he didn't said anything and stay silent..
Nandini : What's wrong with you manik?
Manik : What's wrong with me? Nothing..did i do something bad again?
Nandini : i did not say that okay? Look how many text i send you.. whole day you didn't meet me,should i say avoided me? In canteen you didn't even smiled at me today..and now leaving without informing me..kyun?
Manik : i think i did call you some hour ago,but you were too busy after that right? How would you notice,you have a company with you always to keep you busy
Manik said little bit rudely making her frown at his weird behavior today..
Nandini : aisa kyun keh rahe ho? Mere phone ka charge khatam hogaya tha..forget to charge it last night..you should've texted back when i did, instead of blaming me now..
Manik : of course all fault is mine.i'm the culprit..happy? I don't wanna talk anymore..my head is aching.I need peace of mind and I'm going home..so can i?
Nandini knew something happened and it's bothering him but he looks moody and asking him more about it will make it worse..So she just gave a soft kiss on his forehead and left saying take care.. His eyes softened little bit seeing her going away dejectedly.. he made her upset he know that..alas,starting the bike he left from there..he need some alone time to control his inner conflict!!
It was midnight.Manik was sleeping on his bed..whole day he was in his room only,didn't go for dinner also..he was frowning in his sleep.. suddenly his sleep broke because of some noice..he opened his eyes and looked around in confusion..some noice coming from outside..he get up from the bed and start going out in dark only..he opened his door and peeped out to see who is it..he came out and saw a woman walking toward his father's room.he couldn't see her face because her back was facing him..she was tall,wore a beautiful saree,long hair..He didn't need to see her face to recognize her..
It was her!! His beloved Mother!!
His eyes start getting moist..With a shaky voice he called her from behind
Manik : MAA
His mother looked behind and saw manik..She gave him one beautiful smile which use to brightened everyone's day..he was so happy that she is back..she still look the same..
he was trembling with excitement seeing her..but niyonika didn't reached to him, instead entered in the room still smiling..Manik Called her again but she didn't reply so manik followed her inside..when he entered,it was no longer night..Sun rays were shining upon him..also it was not a room..he was standing in their main door..in hall He saw His mother niyonika,his father Rajeev..they were holding two babies..who are they? Both were really pampering them.. suddenly he saw Nandini..coming down from the stairs wearing a beautiful Saree..she was looking breathtaking he thought..but what she's doing here?she came and hugged both his parents and kissed the babies one by one..are they his and Nandini's babies? He thought..is this his future he's seeing?
his mother and nandini both start decorating a cake which was in the table..they were talking and giggling.. His eyes start shinning with happiness..he took a step to go toward them when he saw dhruv coming down and standing next to nandini..way too close then he use to do..manik start frowning seeing this

And they both hugged each other making manik's breath hitched..he's smile was wiped now..he stood there like an outsider,like a complete stranger while they were celebrating happily..he was just looking at nandini and looks like nandini felt his gaze on her..she looked up and saw manik standing alone..she slowly start going to him with a guilty face..manik saw her standing Infront of him now, looking down..
Manik : Why you did this nandini? How could you do this to me?
Nandini : I'm sorry Manik!! I did what was best for me
Manik : But you said you love me?
Nandini : i did loved you..But when Dhruv Confessed his love for me,i realized he's perfect for me..he always took care of me,he understand me, he's selfless..And mostly he don't hurt me like you did..he makes me happy unlike you who only made me cry
Manik : Please don't do this..come back to me..i love you very much..i cannot live without you anymore..
Nandini : your love is not enough to live a toxic life forever..look at dhruv.. he's successful,his well-behaved, everyone loves him,why should i leave him and choose you? Are you good son? A good brother? A good human? I hope you got your answer..
Saying this she left from there leaving manik in tears..he was shattered after what she said..he didn't said anything and closed his eyes unable to see her with anyone else other then him,and when he opened he eyes,he was in his bed.. still laying down..he looked around and saw it's still night,his door was closed..
So it was a Nightmare? One bad bad nightmare he thought!! He got up and took a breath of relief knowing nandini is still his!! And she will be his forever..He won't let dhruv snatch her from him!! He will make sure now!!
