Geralt and Jaskier re-meet in a way that no one could have guessed was to happen. Jaskier learns some more about himself, Geralt being informed along the way. The only thing is, now that Jaskier was supposedly dead to Geralt, who was this new bartender he had met in the middle of nowhere? More secrets are revealed with both Jaskier and Geralt's pasts, everything slowly unravels to reveal a truth overly cruel. Can they overcome it? Of course. But will they try to?
