Today, we had a few interviews to go to, which we all knew was going to be tough on Nialler.
"Come on baby, we've got to get up" I gently rub his back.
"Hmm" he whines as he shifted.
"I know baby, it's early but we need to get up" I soothe him awake.
"No up" he mumbles.
"Ok, come on" I say a I lifted him out of his crib.
"Noo daddy" he whines but lays his head on my shoulder anyway. I managed to lay him on his changing table and change his nappy. I then put him in a pair of black jeans, a long sleeve navy polo and a pair of navy socks.
I take him down and set him in his highchair where I put a coverall bib over him so he doesn't get his clothes dirty.
He soon realised where he was and started crying and reaching out for me.
"Daddy" he sadly cries.
"We're still tired, huh?" I pull him out of his seat where he instantly lay his head down on my shoulder.
"Want me to get Zayn up?" Louis asks me.
"Please"
"I'll pack some snacks for him, I think it's best if you try and let him sleep as and when in between interviews" Harry says. They'd slept the night before just to make things easier for the morning and I couldn't be more grateful than right now as I knew I'd be rushing around with a clingy Niall.
"Thanks mum" I sarcastically say to him with a smile. I cuddle Niall whilst everyone else got ready. I placed him on the counter and put his white converse on.
"Mornin' bud, we sad this morning?" Zayn greets him with a kiss on the cheek.
"He's still tired" I tell him as Zayn picks him up and Niall almost instantly falls asleep. We get in the car and make our way to the first studio.
"If he gets worse, we'll leave him with Paul and say he's sick or something" Zayn suggests.
"Ok" we do our first interview and take some photos before heading to our next one.
"Hungry Nialler?" Harry offered him some food to him. He had perked up a bit once he had some food and something to drink properly. As we neared the last couple of interviews that's when Niall started to get fussy and was refusing to even participate in getting dressed so Paul looked after him. Once we were done he had his dummy and was cuddling with Paul as he lay his head on his shoulder, sleepily looking around.
"Come on, bud, we'll go home, have some dinner and have an early night" Zayn says as he took Niall from Paul and thanked him for taking care of Niall. We soon made it back and all four of us were trying to keep Niall entertained to keep him awake as we didn't want the danger 5 o'clock nap.
"Here, eat up" Harry serves our food. We soon eat and I help Harry clear up whilst Zayn and Louis played with Niall.
"Babe, can you go get him some pyjamas please?" I call out to Zayn.
"On it"
"Come on bud, one more button" I hear Zayn.
"Milkies" Niall cries out.
"Yeah I know, daddy's doing milkies" Zayn soon comes through with a crying Niall. He was wearing a black and white striped sleepsuit.
"Tough day, huh?" I look at him, red faced and tear tracks down his face. I give him his bottle and we take him up.
We lay him down in his bed and tuck him in with his blanket.
We say goodnight to him before heading back down.
"Poor little guy, looks so exhausted" Harry says.
"I know, can't say that we all are" I tell him.
"I know, mind if we stay another night?" Louis yawns.
"Of course, you know you're always welcomed here" we soon head off to bed where Niall was completely out, bottle not even half full.
"Bless him" I chuckle. We get into bed and Zayn and I cuddle one another before falling asleep after a long day of interviews and driving from place to place.
