The screaming fans,

The tight spaces,

The crowd surfers,

The bright lights.

It's all too much for me to handle!

Here I am, at a stupid concert, because I was practically dragged here

by my best friend.

"Come on Sophie! We gotta get to the front!" My best friend Abby

yelled above all the screaming as she pushed through the fans. I

quickly followed, not wanting to get separated. Man, I have no idea

how she does this all the time. It's so suffocating! Suddenly, the

cheers got even louder, and I thought that was impossible.

"Hello everybody! How y'all feeling tonight?" More screams and cheers

were heard from the crowd. I looked up on stage, and saw that the lead

singer of 'After Dark' had taken up the microphone and was getting

ready for the show to begin.

He had jet black hair, that was longish. I think his name was

something like Nate or Nick.

"We're gonna start off with our new song 'That Girl'."

~*~

The songs kept on coming and going. I never paid any attention to the

band or the songs. I was brought out of my day dreaming when the lead

singer started talking again, "Thank you to all our amazing fans out

there tonight, we couldn't have done it without you!"

Bullshit.

They don't give a crap about anyone but themselves. They are just a

bunch of conceited, arrogant, stuck-up teenage celebrities. I don't

see why people like them. I haven't ever heard their music, but I'm

sure it's not that great.

I know what you thinking, 'How have I not ever heard their music if

I'm standing at one of their concerts?'

Well that's easy. Its because I came prepared. I listened to my iPod

the whole time they were playing. I know; I'm a genius.

There was a loud applause and then people started filing out.

"Sophie, Sophie! I want to get an autograph! Please Sophie! This is a

once in a life time chance! Please please please?!?" I sighed as Abby

continued to beg me.

"Fine, fine! We'll try to get one autograph. But then we are leaving.

And that's final!"

She started squealing like a little girl and doing our victory dance

that we made in my tree house when we were seven.

"Calm down Abbs! Let's just get it and get outta here!"

She started dragging me towards the stage. "Are you crazy Abby! We

can't just stroll up onto the stage! The security will have us in no

time!"

"Oh, hush hush. I know what I'm doing here."

~*~

Don't ask me how, but we ended up right in front of a door with 'After

Dark' in big, gold letters on the front.

"Right, well im just gonna be waiting here for you when your finished.

Don't take too long." I leaned up against the wall.

"Nuh uh! You are coming with me!"

"But I don't even like the stupid band! Why do I have to go in and be

tortured?" I whined.

We heard something to the right of us so we turned and looked that

way. There was a guy with light brown hair, standing there, holding a

few drinks which were now spilt all over the floor. Only now did I

realize that he was staring at us too. No, let me re-phrase that: he

was staring at ME!

"Y-You don't li-like 'After Dark'!?" He stuttered.

"Yeah, so? Is that really such a crime?" I replied sarcastically.

He seemed to regain his posture as he muttered, "Ive gotta show the

guys this." Then he spoke louder, "Follow me." He walked past us and

through the door we were standing in front of.

"Hey guys! Come here! Now!" He shouted.

"What is it now, Tyler?" A tall guy emerged from another room, looking

bored. He was skinny but it was obvious he was still well built. His

blond hair fell over his chocolaty brown eyes.

"Who are they?" He asked.

Before I could even open my mouth, Abby had already spoken.

"Hi. I'm Abby, and this is Sophie!"

God Abby! You can't just go around telling random strangers all about

yourself!

"And I am your biggest fan!" She chirped.

Wait...what? Biggest fan? Why the hell would she be these guys biggest

fan? Just then another guy walked in,

"Whats going on in here?" I recognized him as the lead singer of The

Band.

"Ohh, I get it!" I exclaimed. These were the members of 'After Dark'.

The one with blond hair is the lead guitarist. And the other one,

that brought us here, is the drummer.

I think.

"Get what?" Abby asked me.

"Uh, nothing."

She gave me a look that said 'I know what your thinking'. I just

smiled sheepishly at her and she sighed.

"Dudes! Your not gonna believe this, but this chick isn't our fan! She

doesn't even like us!" He motioned towards me. They both stared at me

like I was some kind of alien.

"Did I just hear what I think I heard? Is there a girl out there who

ISN'T our fan?" The guy talking came in halfway through his sentence.

He had dirt blond hair and blue eyes.

"Which one?" He was looking between me and Abby trying to figure it out.

"Its her! All her! I am your BIGGEST fan! I love you all!" I gave Abby

an exasperated look. Did really just bail on me for some conceited

celebrities?

"Well then, you are my new most favourite person!" The dirty blonde

haired dude said while walking over to me and slinging his arm over my

shoulder. I shrugged it off though.

"No thank you." I flipped him off.

Then I turned to Abby.

"Abbs, I'm going now. I can't stand it here any longer. You've got

your keys, right? Just meet me back at my house when your done."

"Sure."

"Don't take too long." Then I walked out the door.

I walked over to my motorbike and put my helmet on.

"Woah, this is YOUR motobike?"

I turned to face the black haired guy. I sighed.

"What do you want now?" I asked impatiently.

"Do you know how many girls would kill to be in your position right

now?" He asked looking serious.

"Look, I don't have time for this. Okay?" With that, I climbed on my

motorbike and sped off.
