I jumped up from my seat in shock.
"W-What are you doing here??" I questioned worry filled my voice. He swung on his the back of his heels leaning against the wall he finally got his balance back. His brown hair was greasy it clung to his sweaty forehead, his hazel eyes were lifeless there was no emotion inside his body. He was wearing that sweaty white top again, I was disgusted to call this man my father.
"What The Fudge Do You Think Im Doing Here Jessica!" his voice boomed around the room, everyone's eyes were locked on us.
"Sorry" I mumbled he grunted then walked up to me, I could smell the smoke from his clothes how volgar.
"Thats what I thought, We will talk about this At Home" he said through gritted teeth, the alcohol stuck to his breath like glue, I wanted to puke as the awful smell filled my nostrils. I shivered at the thought.
"Excuse me?" came a male voice from behind dad, he spun a round with pure hatred in those hazel eyes.
"Yes?" he replied raising an eyebrow, I moved so I was standing next to the man I kept shifting from foot to foot, the man noticed my anxiousness he eyed me suspiciously in return I gave him a small smile.
"Your son he's waking up" the man said I was ready to go but dad just stood there slowly taking this in.
"And your point?" dad chuckled my mouth opened in shock. The mans face looked disappointed I turned to him smiling
"Ok can you take me to him? Please?" I asked smiling he nodded backing away from dad. I followed the man I felt something tight on my arm I spun around to dad he was gripping the top of my arm pain spread throughout my whole arm. An evil grin appeared on his face his eyes were full of rage. The grin then turned into a deep frown.
"Where are you going??" he demanded I looked him up and down my eyes were full of disgrace,
"Im going to go see Daniel, Since Im the only one who seems to care about him" I snapped I yanked my arm away from him, I continued walking

I turned around to look at dad he had his arms crossed over his chest an evil looking smirk was plastered on his face, he was chuckling when he saw me looking he chuckled harder
"Big Mistake Jessica...Big Mistake" he chuckled throwing his head back in laughter, I took a quick glance over to Sally she looked terrified we both knew what my dad was capable off. Goosebumps took over my arm, I shivered at what I was expecting at home. Walking down the corridor was kinda strange, all the doors to peoples rooms were open people were strapped to machines. People lay so still in there bed they almost looked dead.
"Well were here" The man spoke clearly, he stood to the side of the small room, Daniel was in the far corner he looked scared. When his eyes saw me his face light up, I smiled at him.
"I'll leave you two alone" the man smiled I whispered a thanks to him as he left the room closing the door. I ran over to him wrapping my arms around his fragile body, tears spilled from my eyes.
"Oh Daniel! I was so worried about you!" I cried he chuckled putting his arm around me at first his grip was light but as I held on tighter he did the same, his face buried into my hair and shoulder. Gentle sobs came from him, I stroked his hair lightly.
"Oh Jess, I was so scared...they literally beat the crap out of me. My arm is broke I can feel it there is so much pain running through my body, but what I was worried about most is what that bumtush was doing to you" he whispered into my hair I made shushing noise's as his sobs grew louder.
"Its alright Danny" I whispered his grip on me increased.
"Danny eat something" I begged he turned a blind eye to the food on his plate
"Im not eating that crap, look at it! Its like that they serve you at school!" he moaned for the hundredth time, I sighed. . It did look like crap, personally I wouldn't eat it.
"Fine, I'll go get you something from the shop," I sighed standing on my feet, Daniel grabbed my hand squeezing it tight. I looked deep into his eyes concern was looking back at me.
"Dont be to long, come straight back no talking to any strangers" I giggled
"Your not my dad you know, although you probably would make a better one.." I sighed walking out the room not waiting for a reply of Daniel. I hummed Im Your's by Jason Mraz walking down the stairs, on the last three steps I jumped off like a child would do to them It would be like completing a dangerous mission and the last three steps counted most. I giggled as my feet touched the floor.
I skipped into the shop grabbing what ever looked good,
"I recommend the ham sandwich Its well tasty" I grinned remembering that voice, I turned around on my heels seeing Zac smirking.
"Well every opinion counts" I giggled picking the sandwich up then dropping it in the basket. He did that hot chuckle that made my knee's wobble.
"So hows your brother?" he questioned reaching behind me, I followed the length of his arm I could clearly see his biceps it stuck out like a bump in the road. I shook myself out of the trance I was in
"Oh he's awake, broke his arm and I think the doctor said something about his ribs?" I smiled he nodded
"I heard your father was here earlier?" my eyes widened
"Oh yeah" I whispered a frown appeared on my face,
"Jess? You alright?" he questioned I shook my head showing him a smile
"Yeah Im fine" I grinned at him, he made an uh huh noise
"I saw what he did to you" he said standing tall, my heart started racing
"W-what do you mean??" I questioned he couldn't know already?? I mean I've only known him for what four hours??
"I watched him grab your arm" he explained, I relaxed phew..he didn't know.
"Ohh" I nodded, his face expression changed to serious
"It took every ounce of me not to go over there and smash him into the wall" he said through gritted teeth, I was surprised he would do that?
"Oh Zac your a charmer you know that" I giggled he chuckled but then went serious again
"Im not joking No one should treat a beautiful girl like that, especially there daughter" he growled
"What room are you in?" he asked taking the subject off course, I smiled at the change
"I think...room...err Im not sure" he laughed
"Well that helps" he chuckled
"Zac lets go" shouted Max, I pecked over Zac's shoulder Max was standing there looking as mood as ever, I gave him a small smile in return in got a grunt, how rude.
"Dont worry its Max's second shift he is always grumpy" Zac grinned rolling his eyes, he looked so cute when he did that, he waved goodbye to me I continued grabbing things off the shelves. After paying for all the crap I bought I started heading back to Daniel's room.
"Hey Hey" I sung entering Daniels room like before when his eyes saw me his face lit up
"Hey Hey" he copied me waving his arms around, I giggled. I perched myself on the end of his bed placing the plastic bag next to me. I grinned at my brother, he squinted his eyes then opened his mouth wide with his teeth tightly shut grinning, I laughed at him. I clapped my hands together
"Alright then here we go" I announced
"Here we go" Daniel whispered, I grinned pulling out everything in order
"So we have... ham sandwich" I grinned placing it at the end of the bed
"Yummy" he exclaimed licking his lips. I giggled
"Crisps"
"smokey bacon??" he questioned I nodded putting two packets on the bed,
"Schokolade" I grinned pulling tons of chocolate out the bag then throwing them onto the bed, Daniel's face blow up with excitement. He gasped reaching forward grabbing a curly wurly, he brought it back to his face with a shocked look
"Curly Wurly!!" he exclaimed ripping the wrapping of then shoving it in his mouth.
"I hwaen't hwad own owf whese iwn awges!!" he grinned his mouth still mouth of chocolate
"Ewww Danny close your mouth you dirty boy" I giggled lightly punching his arm he smirked opening his mouth, Ew.
"Hello Daniel Im doctor Kelly" A male voice came from the doorway I turned to see him, normal looking man. Brown hair hazel eyes,
"Owh Hwello" Daniel said his face still full, I giggled as the mans head lifted away from his notebook looking at my brother, I wanted to explode with laughter at the face Dr.Kelly was giving him. I heard Daniel shallow his chocolate he grinned it was still on his teeth,
"Hello sorry...Havent had a curly wurly in ages" Daniel grinned looking over at me. Dr. Kelly nodded walking towards us.
"Ok so Daniel your arm is broken so we will have to plaster that up, you have damaged a rib its not broken but you will have an awful lot of pain. Im going to be giving you painkillers and.." I kinda zoomed out round bout then,
Wow what a day its been. Cant helps you wondering what will happen tomorrow..
"Ok see ya later doc" Daniel said waving
"Bye" I quickly added, the doctor turned around smiling. then left the room.
"You zoned out didnt ya?" Daniel asked I nodded
"Well he said in a few minutes he's gunna send someone to come get me then get my arm plastered up. After I or you will have to go get the pills they are giving me then we can go home!" he exclaimed relaxing into the pillow shutting his eyes. I sighed
"Did I tell you dad came in here earlier?" I asked putting everything back into the bag, his eyes popped open
"What?" his voice went all serious, I nodded
"Yeah he came in here" I whispered
"What happened??" he questioned his voice filled with curiosity
"Well someone phoned him, he appeared then the nurse came over saying you had woken up and dad was really rude! I mean incredible rude! So I said to the man ok lets go see him then as I walked off dad grabbed my upper arm his eyes were full of so much angry, he asked me where I was going. Of course I said to see you...because I was the only one who cared I pulled away from him and as I was walking away he said I had made a big mistake" I gasped for air. Daniel's face was shocked then it turned to anger then worried. It stayed on a worried face.
"God Im gunna have to protect both of us with my good arm" he whispered I giggled although I was in my situation to do so.
"So he's kinda threatened you?" I nodded, Daniel clenched his fist, the veins in his neck stuck out.
"Im so gunna kill that man" he whispered through gritted teeth. I sighed. There was a small knock at the door, I noticed that blonde hair from anywhere. Zac stood at the door with his green uniform still on. A grin was plastered on those outstanding lips. A smile appeared on my lips, when I see him the smile just appears. I stood up as he walked towards me
"Zac" I grinned he opened his arms wide, I slipped into his tight grip on me...Wow it felt right in his arms..
"Jessica" he whispered into my hair, I heard him breath in. That sweet Australian accent played over in my head. I hands gripping onto his shoulders while his arms were wrapped around my waist.
"Cough Cough" Daniel raised his voice, I pulled away from Zac I felt the blood rush to my cheeks.
"Oh right Daniel his is Zac, he was one of the paramedics that carried you out of school" I giggled taking another peck at Zac to find him doing the same to me.
"Hey" Daniel said raising an eyebrow, Zac walked towards him extending his arm to reveal his hand. Daniel looked him up and down a few times before using his good hand to shake Zac's.
"Nice to meet you Daniel" Zac spoke in a clear voice. Daniel nodded
"Like wise"

"Alright Daniel thats all done, you can head home now" the lady grinned, Daniel nodded smiling at her
"Cheers" he said jumping of the bed
"The pleasure was all mine" she flirted fluttering her eye lashes around, from Daniel all she got was an odd look, I wanted to laugh. Daniel was very picky about the girls he dated. The couldn't be fake, they didnt have to wear tons of make up, he liked girls who acted normal around him like they would do to other people. We left the room in a hurry
"Well that was weird" I giggled linging my arm with his good one. he nodded agreeing with me
"Very, how are we getting home?" he questioned
"Zac said he would take us.." I whispered, Daniel grunted
"How old is that Zac anyway??" he exclaimed, I shrugged
"I dunno oh look there he is" I grinned pointing over to him, he had changed his outfit. He was now wearing a checkered blue t-shirt with a white one underneath, his jeans were a dark blue denim. God he looked good...we walked up to him, I grinned will Daniel just stared
"Hey again" I said cheerfully...again with the smiling...
"Heyy ready to go home?" he questioned I nodded
"Yupp, I'll get in the back cause it's easier" I smiled Zac nodded leading us over to his peugeot RCZ ..
"Woo! I Love Your Car!!" I exclaimed leavign Daniel behind then running to the car. Zac chuckled
"Well if you ever want a lift just ask me" he winked, I looked over at Daniel but he was to interested in the car.
"I'll have to keep you up on that offer" I whispered to him, he looked at me with a smirk on that gorgeous face. I giggled. I got into the back inhaling that lovely car smell. Daniel sat in the front still admiring the car from the inside and out.
"Ready to go?" he questioned I grinned nodding
"Yup" Zac started the car and we left the hospital...
But a thought crossed my mind...
Did I really want Zac to see my house?
