The next day was my favorite day of the week.
Saturday.
I just love to relax after a full week of school.

"Skye! Wake up! It's 7!" I heard Landon shout in my ear.
I groaned and threw a pillow at him, "It's a freakin' saturday. Lemme sleep more."
Then, I felt a whack on my back and I sat up, facing Landon who was smirking at me.
"Ow..." I mummbled, rubbing my back.
"C'mon, I made breakfast." he said.
"Landon? Making breakfast? You don't hear that everyday." I said, standing up from my bed.
"Just c'mon." he said as I followed him downstairs.
"The food better not be poisoned." I mummbled.
We walked into the kitchen and I sat at the table, tiredly.
"Good morning, Skye." greets Amy.
"G'morning." I said, trying to smile but fail.
"You should try the pancakes, Landon made. It's really good." she said.
Landon places a plate of decent looking chocolate chip pancakes in front of me. Man, it smells good.
"If I die, feel free to sue Landon." I said. I picked up a fork and knife, cut a piece of the pancake and ate one.
"Soooo..." says Landon, waiting for a response.
"It's actually pretty good." I said. Usually, it would burn my tongue saying that but right now, I'm enjoying the taste of the pancakes.
"Am I a great chef or what?" he says, sitting next to Amy.
"Or what." I replied, making him glare at me.
"Where's your mom? She's usually up by now." I then said.
"She left to Chicago last night." he said.
"What? She did?" I asked.
"Yup. Business stuff. She told me to tell you guys that she'll be gone for about 5 days." he says.
"What about your dad?" I asked.
"He'll be here but he'll be staying at hotels because of late night work." he said.
"What a busy family." says Amy.
I glanced out the window and saw rain, still pouring.
"It's still raining? Geez." I said.
"The weather said that it's going to rain all day today and tomorrow." he said.
"It is? Awwww, that's bullshit." I said and groaned.
"So, what should we do all day today and tomorrow?" says Amy.
"I'm not sure." he says and leans in closer to Amy, "Maybe we can make ou---"
"No you are not. That's disgusting, especially in front of me!" I said, cutting him off.
"I'm just kidding...or am I?" he says as Amy let out a giggle.
"Landon, you're just...just terrible." I said, shaking my head in disbelief.
"Whatever, mother." he says, airquoting the word "mother".
I rolled my eyes and walked out of the kitchen.
"Where are you going?" I heard him ask.
"Somewhere where I can't see your face!" I shouted and ran up to my room.
I closed the door and sat on my bed.
I hate that motherfucking douchebag.
Suddenly, my phone starts ringing on my bed side table. I picked it up and answered, "Hello?"
"Hey, it's me Roy."
"ROY?!" I screamed.
Then, I heard a familiar evil laughter through the phone.
"Oh my god. Landon?! It's you isn't it?!" I shouted.
"Haha, yeah. You fell for it." he said, chuckling.
"You're right, that is funny!" I heard Amy's voice in the background.
"So, Skye, I----"
Without responding to what he's about to say, I hung up.
I layed down on my bed and decided to take a small nap.

"Knock knock knock. Skye?"
"Hmmm..." I mummbled as I looked at the door, "Yeah?"
"It's Amy, can I come in?" I heard Amy's voice behind the door.
"Sure...I guess." I said and fixed my already messy bedhead.
The door opens, revealing Amy, all dressed up in a mini skirt and pink tshirt.
"How long was I in here?" I asked, tiredly.
"About......hmmm, 4 hours?" she replies.
"Damn..." I said.
"Skye, Landon told me to tell you that we're going to the movies. Wanna come?" she says.
"Depends, what movie?" I asked.
"No Strings Attached." she said.
"I'm in!" I said and started to change in the bathroom.
After I changed into ripped jeans and an All Time Low, tshirt, I headed downstairs where Landon and Amy was waiting.
"Ready to go?" he asks.
"Yup!" I said, cheerfully.
As we walked out the front door, I glaned at Amy who was glaring at me. I gave her a wierd look and then at Landon's car. We got into the car and as Landon turns on the engines, I said, "I wanted to see this movie so badly. Can't wait to see Ashton Kutcher in this!"
"Oh my god!" mimics Landon in a high pitched voice and then back into his normal deep voice, "Don't care."
"Just sharing my thoughts." I said as the car drives out of the driveway.
"I know it's going to be a really romantic and cute movie. I saw the trailer." says Amy.
Landon grabs her hand and says, "I chose the movie just for you, babe."
"Awww, you're so sweet." she replies and kisses his cheek.
"If you two start making out and we end up in a car crash, I swear, I would kill myself." I said.
"Shut up, Skye." he says.
"Excuse me?" I said.
"Just sharing my thoughts." he says as I saw a smirk played on his lips.
"I am so dragging you into a dark alley and start choking you." I said, glaring at him.
When we got to the movie theatre, we went inside, Landon paid for our tickets, got some snacks, and settled ourselves in the theater. Like I imagined, our seating order was Landon, then Amy, then me. Surprise surprise.
"As much as the movies, I love the trailers at the beginning." says Landon.
"Same here. Makes me want to watch those movies instead." I agreed.
The lights started to go dimmer as the screen turned to the emergency exit, fire, stay calm notice thing.
"Yay, it's starting!" I squealed with excitement.
"Shut up, dude." he says.
"Sorry." I apologized.
We watched a few trailers in the beginning and when the Paramount, Spyglass stuff came one, I sat up and made myself comfortable.
"It's starting, it's starting, it's starting." I said to myself.
"Skye, shut up." says Landon as he glared at me.
"I'm trying to pep up my mood." I replied.
"Pep up more quieter." he said.
"Shush, it's starting." I said.
"Shhhhh!"
"Sorry." We both apologized and looked back at the screen.

About halfway through the movie, I started to yawn. The part where two people are talking to eachother for 10 whole minutes. I know it's probably the most important part, but honestly, I think it's really boring.
As I rested my head against the back of my chair, I spotted Landon and Amy, snuggled close together. Landon's arm was around her shoulder and he then kissed her temple. I wish Roy did that to me. Sure he was nice but he was just...just the wrong guy to be with. Hope he's happier with that blonde bimbo right now.
I sighed heavily and glanced at Landon who was giving Amy butterfly kisses, which lead to kisses, which lead to french kisses.
Oh god.
