Hiccup's P.O.V.
I sit in a bathtub getting scrubbed by a coat rack. He scrubs my hair, wings, tales, and even under my nails. As he washes me, Eret hops over and hops onto the stool.
"Tonight is the night!" Eret says. The coat rack dumbs a bucket of water ontop of me, soaking me completely.
"I'm not sure I can do this Eret." I pull my bangs out of my face so I can see him.
"You don't have time to be timid! You must be bold! Daring!" He says, taking a glance at the rose.
"Bold! Daring!" I repeat and shake the water off.
I get out of the tub and grab a towel, wrapping it around myself. I flap my wings to get the water off them. I sit down at the vanity and let the coat rack do my hair.
"There will be music, romantic candle light." He lights each one of his candles. "Which will be provided by myself. And when the moment is right, you confess your love!"
The rack finishes drying my hair and moves to the side. I look at myself in the mirror and watch myself speak.
"Yes, I con-..I-I. No! I can't!" I look down ashamed that I don't have the courage to tell the girl I love that I love her.
"You care for the girl, don't you?" He asks.
"More than anything!" I reply as the coat rack cuts my hair. It got pretty lengthy over the past few years.
"Well then, you must tell her!" He says. "Voila! You look so, so..."
"Stupid!" I look at myself in the mirror to see pieces of my hair in a pony tale tied with a green ribbon.
"Not quite the word I was looking for." He scratches the back of his neck nervously. "Perhaps a little more off the top." He claps his hands and the rack goes back to work.
The door opens to revile Fishlegs. "Ahem, your lady awaits." He bows and gestures towards the door.
"Now or never." I mumble.
I put on my black suit with a wite undershirt. The barber takes out all the ribbons and leaves me with my messy hair. I straigten my tie and look in the mirror one last time. I take a deep breath and breathe out. "Let's go do this."
I stand in the doorway and watch Astrid descend the stairs. She wears a blue layered dress with the bottom a darker blue than the top. The belt is purple with a red design on it. Her sleaves go down to her elbows and her shoes match her dress. She has a red ribbon choker with a Deadly Nadder charm on it. Her hair is braided with a bun at the top. To top it all off, she wore a rhinestone incrested tiara. (Pic above) She looked like a princess.
I look over at Eret and he gestures for me to go down. I descend the staircase like the prince I am with an arm behind my back and the other in front of me. I bow while she curtsies. I hold out my right arm for her to take and we walk down the rest of the stairs together. Toothless jumps in front of us before circling around us, bringing us cloer together.
We walk towards the dining room and I bring her over to her chair. I pull it out for her so she can sit down.
"Thank you." She says, smiling.
"You're welcome." I reply, smiling.
I take a seat at the other end and we both start eating. I'm eating properly this time. When one of our musicians comes out and plays the violin in front of Astrid, she gets out of her chair and walks over to me. She grabs my hands and pulls me to the ball room. She turns to me and places one of my hands on her waist, while holding the other in her hand.
The music plays and we start dancing. (Imagine them as Belle and the Beast dancing)

After we danced, we went out on the belcony. She sat on the ledge and looked out at the view. I looked at the view before looking back at her.
"Astrid?" I sit next to her and take her hands in mine.
"Yes?" She asks.
"Are-are you happy here with me?" I ask.
"Yes." She says, before looking back out into the distence. I notice this and start to worry.
"W-what is it?" I ask.
"If only I could see my father again, for just a moment. I miss him so much." She says softly. I think for a moment of a way where she can see her father for a moment, without leaving.
I think of my only source towards the outside world. That can help! "There is a way." I say.
"How?" She asks.
"Follow me."

Astrid's P.O.V.
"Follow me." He takes my hand and takes me to the west wing, towards his room. He opens the doors and we step inside. He walks over to the table with the rose on it and grabs a mirror. "This mirror will show you anything you wish to see." He hands me the mirror and I hold it up.
"I would like to see my father please." I speak to the mirror and it starts to glow.
It shows my father walking through the storm alone. He coughs a couple of times before falling to the ground. I gasp at the sight and I can feel tears hitting the brim of my eyes.
"Oh no, he's sick! He may be dying, and he's all alone!" I cry. I watch as Hiccup looks at the rose and gently touches the glass before looking away.
"Then go, you must go to him." He says.
"What did you say?" I ask, making sure I heard him right.
"I release you. You're no longer my prisoner." He says looking sadly into my eyes.
"You mean, I'm free?" I ask, feeling hope.
"Yes." He looks down towards the ground.
"Thank you! Don't worry papa! I'm on my way!" I look at the mirror one last time before returning it to Hiccup.
"T-take it with you. So you can always look back, and remember me." He runs a hand through my hair and places it on my cheek.
I lean into the touch and look up at him. "Thank you for understanding how much he needs me." I place a hand on his cheek and feel him lean into the touch. I kiss his cheek before leaving and heading to my room.

Hiccup's P.O.V.
"Well your Highness, I must say everything is going just swimingly. I knew you had it in you." Fishlegs chuckles as he walks into the room.
"I let her go." I simply say.
"Yes, yes, simply slend-You what? How could you do that?" He asks.
"I had to."
"Yes, b-b-but why?" He asks.
"Because...I love her."

Fishleg's P.O.V.
"He did what?!" All the servents were shocked by the news I just gave.
"Yes, I'm afraid it's true." I agree.
"She's going away?" Chip asks.
"But he was so close." Eret whines.
"After all this time, he's finally learned to love." Miss Pots says as she looks down at the floor.
"That's it then! That should break the spell!" Eret's mood changes onces he hears that.
"But it's not enough, she has to love him in return." She explains.
"Now it's to late." I say.

Hiccup's P.O.V.
I watch as Astrid rides out of the castle gates on her horse. I fell tears running down my cheeks as I watch her every stride. All of my sadness combines into one and I let out a moarnful roar into the night sky.
I wish I had the guts to say those words to her before she left, but I let her go. I roar a couple more times before letting the tears burst out of my eyes. I cry as memories come back to me about her. Each and every single one, shows a women that's hard to ignore. One that always has blonde hair and blue eyes.
I already miss her. I grip my claw around the belcony railing and let out one more upsetting roar. I fall on my knees and cover my face with my hands. This is a feeling I nver thought I would feel in my life. And yet, here I am, crying my eyes out as I watch the love of my life ride away from me.
If she ever does come back, I'm sure I'll be in full dragon form by then. I would only have one way of letting her know it's me. It would be my eyes. My emerald greens eyes that I've gotten from my parents. They both died when I was younger, so I never knew what love actually was until I met her.
I just wish I could say those three words to her before she left. The ones I've been waiting to say for weeks now.
I love you...

Here's your update! I'm sorry I haven't updated this lately! But I've been getting constant requests to update my other stories!
Okay, so since this story is coming to an end soon. I was thinking about writing another fairytale. It wouldn't be Cinderella because there are lots of those already. So, I've decided to make a modern Sleeping Beauty! My cousin helped with the idea.

Me: What was that?
Camera Guy: I think that was one of the lights.
Me: Can you check?
Camera Guy: Yea, I'll be back.
Me: Now Snotlout! Leave!
Snotlout: Nope!
Me: Fine! Then I'll just have to call her!
Snotlut: Who's her?
Me: You'll see! Emelie!!!
Emelie: Yes?
Me: Mind taking care of Snotface while I try and find Hiccup?
Emelie: My pleasure! *takes out axe*
Me: But don't kill him! We still need him!
Emelie: Fine! You got lucky this time Snotface! AHHH!!!
Snoutlout: *widens eyes* RUNN!!!!
*Emelie and Snotlout run out of room*
Me: Hiccup! You're okay to come out now!
Hiccup: Thanks! Was that the person I'd be fighting later?
Me: Who?
Hiccup: The girl, Emelie was it?
Me: No! You're going against the other one.
Hiccup: That makes me feel better.
Me: Good! Now, time for you question. How did you feel when you let Astrid go?
Hiccup: To be honest, terrible. I was the worst thing I've ever felt in my life.
Me: That must suck.
Hiccup: Yea, it does.
Emelie: Get back here Snotlout!!
Snotlout: Never!!!
Me: You might want to go before they see you.
Hiccup: Good idea. I'll see ya next time!
Me: Yup! You too!!
*Hiccup walks towards the door and knocks camera's and lights down with wings*
Me: Hiccup!
Hiccup: Yea?
Me: Your wings, they're destorying my equitment.
Hiccup: Sorry!
Me: Just fly out of here! The ceilings are big enough!
Hiccup: Okay! Bye!
Me: Bye!
Camera Guy: What happened to my cameras?!?!?!?
Me: Don't cry now Bob.
Camera Guy: My babies!!! My precious babies!!!
