It's been five years since Hiccup changed the minds of Berk, and everyone is happier for it. It's a more peaceful way of life, and it opens the doors to new experiences such as Dragon Racing and discovering new lands. But what happens when Hiccup, his cousin, Revna, and Astrid stumble upon a Dragon Trapping Ring? What happens when the leader of said ring catches wind about the Dragon Riders? And what happens when Revna, a fiery, brave, and selfless warrior catches the eye of a certain trapper? Will she feel a spark as well? Will love prevail? Or will their stubborn personalities and differences keep them apart? Read to find out!
Disclaimer: I don't own How to Train Your Dragon or any of its characters. I only own Revna and Amethyst. This is by no mean my first story. But it is the first that I am sharing with well, the world. I am very proud of it, but I know there is always room for improvement. Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. No hate, please. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III a teenage Viking who earn the ranks to kill his first ever Dragon in Dragon Training. He could not kill it, he wouldn't kill it knowing himself having one of them as his own, never the less, he was afraid of losing his only best friend, Toothless. He would never trust and look at him the same way. So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this?
