"Marco!" I shouted
"Yes love." He said as he walked into my room
I ran and jumped into his arms. It's been years since I've seen him. This idiot was a really good friend of mine. He saved my life and I'll forever be in debt to him for that.
"How?" I asked
"Klaus told me what happened, so I came. But am I disturbing something?" He asked as he looked at Kodiak
"Yes." Said Kodiak
"No." I said
"He is!" Exclaimed Kodiak
I walked over to Kodiak and grabbed his face and planted a small and quick kiss on his cheek.
"What-" he was shook
I just laughed.
"Let's go Marco, he might take a minute." I said
"Poor guy." Said Marco with a laugh
"He'll survive." I said
We walked into the kitchen and I hopped onto the kitchen counter, Marco started making breakfast. Not to long after that Raven and Kiara joined us in the kitchen. We were all just talking and laughing with each other.
"Marco so you've been sky diving?" Asked Kiara
"Yeah, it's amazing. Do you want to go?" Asked Marco
"Yes, I'd love too!" Shouted Kiara in excitement
We all just laughed at her reaction and smiled.
"We can go tomorrow." He said
"Yay!" She shouted
"Blue eyes do you mind if I take you out to dinner tonight, Amelia misses you." He said
"She can't, she's having dinner with me." Kodiak said as he entered the room.
"Oh it's okay, how about tomorrow?" Asked Marco
"Yeah that sounds great." I said
Kodiak kept giving Marco dirty looks, this is hilarious, his so jealous. I can't wait for him to find out that Marco is married.
"Kodiak why don't you join us for dinner tomorrow?" Asked Marco while he took the pancakes off the stove
"I'd love too." He said in a arrogant tone.
"Awesome, breakfast is done. Let's eat." Said Marco
We all at and damn he still makes the best pancakes ever! We all just listened to Marco telling stories about the nonsense him and I would catch on when we were younger.
"Blue eyes do you remember that night when we snuck out of your house and we went to the beach, I made a picnic and everything, not like we ended up eating the food though." He said with a tone almost like saying 'you know what I mean'
I started laughing and softly got his shoulder.
"Marco!" I said in playful shock
"Good times." He said as we laughed
"You remember when Marco came to my house and he tried to kiss you. Damn you smacked him so hard I thought you were going to break his jaw." Said Raven
"Oh, I remember! He wouldn't stop saying how crazy I was." I said and we laughed
"You guys have such cool stories." Said Kiara
"Thanks little one." Said Marco
All of a sudden Kodiak stood up and walked away, what's up with him. Why's he so moody. We all sat there watching him walk towards his room, Kiara looked worried and I was too. Raven and Marco just looked confused.
"Did I do something wrong?" Asked Marco
"No, his just jealous. Kodiak likes Blue eyes." Said Kiara
"What?" I said in shock
"Yeah, he likes you." Said Kiara
"I'll go check on him." I said as I stood up
"We'll clean this up and you guys can meet us in the cinema when you are done talking or whatever." Said Marco
"Thanks love." I said
I walked towards Kodiak's room and heard him hitting his pillow, well I'm grateful that he isn't breaking my things. I softly walked into the room and came behind him. I tapped him on the shoulder and he just stood there.
"What's wrong?" I asked so softly I'm surprised he heard me.
"I...What do I have to do to get you to be mine?" He asked
"Kodiak, my fiancé just died a month ago, I...I still love him and miss him. I'm not in the right place to date anyone." I said As I leaned into his chest.
He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. He placed his head on top of my head.
"Then can I be your rock through it all? I just want to know that I'm the person you go to when you are hurting. Can I be that person?" He asked In such a desperate tone, my heart almost leaped out to him.
"Yes you can. But you are going to have to tell Klaus because his not going to be happy about that." I joked
"You always like to joke." He said as he laughed lightly.
"I like when you laugh. I wanted to see you smile." I said as I looked up into his beautiful ice blue eyes.
He leaned over me and placed his forehead onto mine. He looked straight into my eyes and just stood there.
"I don't care about the old stories your friends tell me, all I know is I will be the man you spend the rest of your life with. One day I will make you mine and I will be yours. I promise you." He said with such sincerity.
"Kodiak I'm no good for you, I'm broken and ruined. I would never burden you like that. You deserve so much better than me." I said
"What are you talking about, you are strong, independent, beautiful, kind, sweet, caring and you have the biggest heart ever. I've never met anyone who has the capacity of love that you do. You are willing to open your heart to so many people and you are respected because you are so trustworthy. You are every mans dream." He said
"I know I just wanted to hear you say it." I said as I laughed into his chest
"Ugh. I should have know with your arrogant ass." He said and we laughed
"Ready to go watch a movie?" I asked
"Yeah let's go. But before we go," he said
He pulled my face up to face him gently and kissed my forehead softly. He let his lips linger there for a few moments and then just started walking out of the room. But before he walked past me he whispered into my ear.
"If you were mine I would have showed you how much I want you right now. Your toes would have been curling 20 minutes ago." He whispered
How the fuck?! He can't say that and just walk away. Fuck I need to get laid. Last time I slept with someone was with Dante, it just doesn't feel right to want to sleep with anyone else.
Dante and I had that forever kind of relationship. I'm not ready to move on just yet. I know I'm fooling myself but I just want to be with him for a little longer. I miss him.
I walked towards the cinema and sat next to Kodiak and Marco. We decided to watch a simple romance and comedy movie. Before I knew it Marco was fast asleep. We just tried not to laugh as he slept. I took a picture of him and sent it to Amira.
"Why are you taking a picture of him?" Asked Kodiak
"I'm sending it to Amira, she is going to laugh so hard." I said
"Cool." He said
We all just had a relaxing evening and Macro left. I had to go start to get ready for dinner with Kodiak. Let's hope this goes well.
I chose a simple dress because I didn't know exactly where we were going.

I made my way downstairs to the living room, he stood there with his back faced to me, damn he looked good. His signature leather jacket, hair styled perfectly, his defined muscles were perfectly shown. I found myself wondering to places that let's just say dirty.
"Well I'm speechless." Said Kodiak
"You don't look to be bad yourself." I said
"I'd hope so, Kiara made me change at least 7 times and we ended up going back to my first option."he said and we both laughed
"Well I'm glad." I said with a smile
"After you." He said as he gestured towards the door.
He opened the door and let me walk through. He opened the car door for me and we got comfortable before pulling out of the driveway.
"So where are we going?" I asked m
"We are going to a secret place." He said
"Oh come on, just tell me." I wined
"It's a surprise." He said
We both started singing to the music playing in the car, it was nice to feel like I was I guess lighter, almost like I was getting happier. Maybe his the light in all my darkness.
Maybe.
We drove for awhile before we pulled into a small trail, i hope he doesn't think he can kill me in the forest, because then we're going to have a problem.
"Is this the part where you try to kill me?" I asked as I looked at him.
"No, come on I promise you're going to love it." He said as he stepped out of he car.
I sat there for a moment trying to check my surroundings. He came to my door and opened it for me, then put his hand out to help me out of the car. I took his hand and stepped out of the car. Let's see what Kodiak has up his sleeve.
We walked down a dimly lit path and all of a sudden he stopped me.
"Okay I'm going to cover your eyes." He said and placed his hands over my eyes as he lead me down the rest of the path.
"Where are we?" I asked
"Patience please." He said
We walked for about 5 minutes and then he stood still.
"Ready?" He whispered into my ear
"Yup." I said
Kodiak removed his hands and it was adorable, he had a little beach date for us, there were candles, a table, 2 chairs and even a server. My heart melted a bit when I saw what was on the table. It was a necklace.
"A necklace?" I asked
"Look what it says at the back." He said
I picked up the necklace and turned it over, it said

I felt tears start to form in my eyes, this was the sweetest gift anyone has ever given me. I can't believe he did this for me. He isn't trying get me to forget about my past he is telling me that he accepts me, all of me including my past. He dedicated a gift to the two men in my life that will always have my heart.
"Kodiak, I...thank you." I said and I engulfed him into a hug.
"They would be so proud of you and they would want you to be happy but you can be happy and still remember them." He said
"Thank you for that. I'm glad you aren't trying to replace anyone, you just being a new chapter and I appreciate that." I said
"Dante was a great man, I could never replace him and I'm sure Scar was the most beautiful and sweet boy. All I ask if that you are open to me making you happy like they did." He said
"I'll try." I said
We separated and he pulled my chair out for me. We sat and ate dinner. It was really nice, we laughed, flirted he really surprised me. He was such a sweetheart. The conversation really just flowed and he was such a great listener.
He reminded me a lot of Dante's leadership, kindness and handsome side but he also reminded me of Scar's kind heart, sweet goofy side and adorable childlike look in his eyes. I know Kodiak has killed but he didn't let it change the man he is .
"Well it's sunrise, I think we should get back before they think I kidnapped you or something." He said jokingly.
"True. Thanks for this. It was lovely." I said
"It was my pleasure. Probably one of the best nights of my life." He said
We laughed and walked back to the car. We got home and packed the car in the garage. As we walked into the house we heard everyone panicking and we couldn't help but laugh with each other.
"What the fuck! Where have you two been!?" Scold Kiara
"Sorry sis, we just lost track of time." He said with his hands up in the air.
"Wait, so that means you had a great time?" She squealed
"Yeah, but no I'm going to take a shower and get some sleep." I said and started walking up the stairs.
"Oh blue eyes you might want to wait, there's someone here that's been asking for you and you might want to see him." Said Marco
"Who?" I asked
"Scar's dad." He said
I nearly fell down the stairs. I haven't seen him in years and for a good reason.
"What the fuck!" I shouted
Silence fell over the room.
