All the children sat down on the dining table waiting patiently for the food to be brought into their plates. Arielle quietly looked at the food in front of them and looked around to find something..... more like someone, she was getting nervous and getting very impatient. She was looking for a little girl (aka me) to show up and cause trouble as always
"Arielle, stop your head from going nuts before the nuns notice you!" Ollie whispered yell at her, she still kept looking left to right and checking all corners of the dining room for something odd
"Y/N where are you? The supper is about to start!" Little Ari became worried about me, I'm so touched that at least someone cares about my actions, well unlike the nuns and everyone else in the orphanage who's too scared to even be with the same room with me, I once got someone innocent got punished along with me because she was the one who activated the trap
"Children, the supper will now start. Let us all bow our heads and pray" everyone started doing the sign of the cross, closed their eyes and bowed their heads. Ari couldn't close her eyes or get her head completely still, she's getting a glimpse of everything around her
"Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Hail Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen" The prayer ended
"Everyone is allowed to eat now"
Everyone took a piece of everything basically, we should enjoy all the good stuff while it lasts
I made my through the dining hall trying not to be seen by wicked witches
You maybe wonder what the nuns did to me or the other children and why I hate them so much
I won't tell you that yet since it'll spoil the story I'm telling you
Anyways, i stayed low and then sat next to Arielle who immediately questioned me
"Where have you been!?"
"Somewhere"
"Did the nuns saw you?"
"You know I always work clean, even though they'll immediately know it's me" I grinned at her
"What did you do now?"
"You'll see later" I grabbed a piece of chicken and munch on it maintaining my smile
*After the meal*
One of the nuns head to the office, it was perfect, I knew she'll go straight there, the fun will start any moment as I guard the office door with my ear against it. I didn't noticed Adam who was walking in my direction
"Y/N what are you doing here?"
"What else do you think?" I giggled
"Would you stop doing these stuff? I kinda feel bad for the nuns"
"No way! This is too fun" I smiled at him brightly
Adam scratched the back of his neck and looked at me with a worried face
"I'll just leave you with your...... stuff" he walked passed by me and I waved goodbye. After a few seconds, I heard a shriek inside the room. I covered my mouth to quietly laugh and ran away from the office. The nun slammed the door open and screamed from her lungs
"Y/N!!!!!" Followed by more screams
*Time skip with the nuns*
Angry faces surrounded me, I just stood there expressionless, I'm used at these anyway
"Y/N, you and the trouble you bring are getting out of hand! We didn't raised such--" she motioned to me finding a word to describe my talent
"Brat!" Okay, that actually didn't hurt, is that all she could do?
"I'm sorry sisters, but it wasn't as bad at last time now" I said sweetly and innocent
"You put a box of dirt with worms and rocks on the floor along with a kingdom spiders on the cabinet!!"
I looked at her confused, I did put the dirt on the floor with a few worms and sharp rocks but I didn't put spiders inside it. I'm too afraid to even get near a small one, why would i even bring a whole group of it
"I didn't put any spiders in it"
"Don't you dare lie at us missy!"
"No! I'm telling the truth! I didn't put anything else except for dirt and stones!"
They didn't listened to me, they thought I was lying. One of the eventually pulled me in a direction and lead me outside. We went straight to a giant tree at the back of the orphanage, one nun followed along with a rope
They pinned me on the tree and tied me
"You'll stay here until tomorrow!" They said and left
Now I'm tied all alone in the tree and just watch children passing by the corridors through the window, i stayed there until the moon rised. I fell asleep quickly after they turned off all the lights and everyone's silent to drift off to sleep.
After a few moment of sleep I was awaken by a sound, that's when I felt the rope went loose. The rope fell on the grass and I could move freely again, I looked behind the tree to thank the one who saved me
But I was greeted not by a nun or a child, I was greeted..... by a pair of glowing yellow eyes
