So how are you all doing noticed i am updating regularly , yeah that's right , my laziness is leaving me . I will give the shout out next chapter not this one ,because it's quick .
" what is troubling you " Andy asked the jumpy Zhao Zi
" Ahh nothing , n...nothing all good " Zhao Zi
" Don't try to fool me i see everything that happens in the two of you " Andy said
" i said nothing its all good " Zhao Zi moved to remove shrimp from the fridge
" Why are you getting defensive all of a sudden is this about you and Jack " Andy asked as he was washing the vegetables .
No its all good " Zhao Zi said
" Really its all good are you sure " Shao Fei appearing out of nowhere
" AAAAGHH!! And where are you coming from " Zhao Zi was startled making him to drop the knife and him trying to save it he got cut in the process
" A-Zhi ! what were you thinking are you okay " Shao Fei harshly pulled Zhao Zi's hand and putting it in the running water . " Why are you so absent minded what is it troubling you " Shao fei asked him as he dressed the cut finger .
" Nothing okay its all good " Zhao Zi said as he had glossy eyes .
" oh dear child you are not okay " Andy as he pulled them to the couch
" why were you hiding it you could have said it " Shao Fei pulls him into a hug making A-zhi now cry
" Why didn't you say anything " Andy asked as he wiped her tears
" i couldn't with everything happening how could i say it " Zhao-Zi
" That is where you are wrong , we will always have time for you , we talked about opening up " Shao Fei
" look you are gonna take your phone call Jack for you two talk it out , you need to have a clear relationship with him " Andy
Later meeting with jack
" uhm this is getting awkward " Zhao Zi rubbed the back of his head
" i say lets take a walk , shall we " Jack being the gentleman he is he waited for A-Zhi to stand up from his chair and follow him .
' ok sure lets go " Zhao Zi stood up leading the way to the cafe door .
They walked down the road not knowing where the road was going to lead them . Zhao Zi looked up and saw a small playground on the other side of the road .
" Look lets go there " He pointed indicating the playground
" Do you want to " Jack asked
" duh why would i want us to go there i haven't really played on the swings for quite some time " Zhao Zi rushed across the road .
Arriving at the swings .
" you know you shouldn't really run across the road like that its dangerous " Jack told him as they swayed back and forth " But anyway you said you wanted to talk ,about what "
" Lets just stay like this for a while please " A- Zhi was shying slowly " i like the way it is calm and peaceful "
3 minutes passed
" about us " Zhao Zi spoke up
" uh " Jack looked at him confused
" you asked why i wanted to talk with you , i want to talk about us " he answered back
" what about us " Jack asked
" our label , what is us , like do we even have a thing going on between us , what is our purpose in each others lives like we have done many things together , but that doesn't place any label on us , who are we ? friends, lovers or what cause its confusing me and its really making me think about it most of my time " Zhao Zi asked while looking at Jack
" who are we , you want to know that " Jack
" Yes ," Zhao Zi
" what do you want us to be then " Jack asks
" That is not it ,we are supposed to be talking about this together , i want like if we are going to be in a relationship it will be about us not me alone , its not like you will be in it because i wanted us to be one , i want it to be the both of us not me alone " Zhao Zi looks at Jack expecting an answer " what do you think of me , do you even like me or you just want me for your desires " He continued to ask .
" look i didn't mean to ask it that way , i wanted to hear your opinion and i like you , i have never wanted you for my desires, i know we have a complicated relationship between us and i think of you like you are more than acquaintance , you are like my soulmate , i know its too early for me to say that to you but i really think of you as one because , you are the only one who made me to be able to let my guard down for once and you are like my safe space i can come to you with all my troubling things cause i know you will be there for me like you always do that is why your opinion matters , i don't want to run around chasing something that will never happen , its just like please be patient with me i am still new to all this showing and telling my emotions thing " Jack
" Jack .... " A-zhi stands up in front of Jack " you could have told me , i am also new to everything that we are going on now but its easy because we are going through this together , if you want us to have a clear relationship we have to tell each other our emotions, you are not alone we are going to walk through this together " he told him as he proceeded to hug him
" So is this a yes " Jack asked as he returned the hug back to him
" for what , you never asked anything " A-zhi looked up to him
" You know for that courting thingy , i read it before being into a relationship you must court the person you like " Jack answered
" do you know how it works " Zhao-zi asks
" No but i am willing to learn " Jack tells him
" its okay we are going to be in this together " Zhao Zi replies as he buried himself farther in to Jack's chest
" its getting cold let me take you back " Jack grabs his hand as they work through the streets back to his car
Arriving at A-zhi's house
" here we are good night " Jack looks at him waiting for him to say something ,
" uhmm goodnight ? " A-zhi looks up to meet his eyes
" Okay bye we will talk later " Jack hugs him as he goes back to his car .
Zhao Zi waves at the disappearing car , he enters their home and squeals like a teenager girl , only to be met with suspicious eyes of Andy,Shao Fei and Xue Fei
" what was that about " Andy asked giving him the tease eye
"Uh n......nothing yeah nothing " Zhao Zi stammers as his face was coloring itself .
" Then why are you blushing , did someone confess to you who is that person , do i know that person , have i ever seen him. " Xue Fei asks nearing A-zhi's face
" nooo and why are you getting near my face " Zhao scooted back
" stupid ," Shao Fei mumbled " Okay why don't we be decent and ask him how it went , what did Jack do to make him squeal more like a girl "
" okay , A-zhi would you care explaining to us what happened to you today to make you squeal like a girl the moment you entered the door " Andy
" Okay okay , quit it i will tell you what happened " A-zhi headed to the living room.
" And so he asked me if he can court me " Azhi finished the story, " ahhhhh .... Why are you all jumping on me " he asked as he was all below them
" Shut up we are just happy that you talked it out with him " Shao Fei
" Oh you are getting Mr D very soon " Andy
They all just parted and looked at him
" Way to ruin the moment " Xue Fei scoffed at him " Why do you always do that "
" come here you little " Andy got up to tickle Xue Fei which also Shao Fei gladly joined leaving A-zhi looking at them with smile in his face .
He realised that truly this was his family , they found each other in weird ways but they were all weird anyways , but they are here to stay , they are here to be with you in every walk you are going to have and he was thankful to call them his family even though they weren't blood related they are a family for life and he wouldn't want to lose them .
" why are you sitting there looking at us smiling like that come here and help destroy this baby " Andy
" Yaah i am not a baby " Xue Fei
" Yeah you are and you are going to be for a long time " Shao Fei attacked Xue Fei with giggles
" Yeah for a long time " Zhao Zi added
