Disclaimer: I do not own All Time Low, Green Day, You Me At Six, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Mayday Parade or whatever other bands I may list in this story, as much as I would love too. And I give all credits to the bands for whatever songs I add in ;)

Alice's POV

I sighed and stuffed more clothes into my suitcase. My family and I were moving to Baltimore tomorrow and I was not looking forward to it at all. I wanted to stay here, in Oakland California. But of course I had no say in the matter and had kept my mouth shut, like always.

I guess you want to know some things about me huh?

Well, my name's Alice Murdoch. I'm sixteen with honey blonde hair which I absolutely hate and blueish grey eyes which I also hate. I live in a regular sized house with my 'family' I guess you could call it, even though they haven't a single thing to do with me. It's just my mum, my step-dad Craig, my little sister Abbie and my older brother Michael. I don't really talk to anyone anymore, not after the incident which is supposedly all 'my fault'. I don't talk, I draw. I express my feelings, the anger, the sadness, the hurt and the pain through my drawing. I had no friends really, I'm just 'the girl who doesn't talk'. The loner. The outcast. But maybe that will change next week when I start at Dulaney High (A/N I know I spelt that wrong but ugh yeah). But I doubt it. I'll probably still just be the new girl who doesn't talk to anyone.

I sighed, pushing the stuff piled into my suitcase down with my hands so I could get it to zip up.

I finally managed to get it zipped up, the only things not inside were my iPod, my sketchbook and my pencils.

I lugged my heavy suitcase to the door where Craig my stepdad was loading stuff into the boot of his car, a flashy, expensive one at that.

I turned on my heel and went back upstairs to my now empty room considering that the moving van had come earlier this morning to take every thing to Baltimore.

"Come on guys! Hurry up!" Mum screamed.

I sighed and tugged on my worn out and dirty black high tops before grabbing my sketchbook, pencil case and my iPod and walking downstairs, my older brother Michael following closely behind with his phone in hand, already texting all his friends.

You see that was the difference between Michael and I, he'd moved on and gotten over everything after the incident, he was popular at school and had a huge group of friends. But me? I still lingered on what happened that day, I'll never forget it. Ever. And at school I'm totally alone with no friends. Although that's probably my fault considering I really don't speak to, well, anyone really. It's just not worth it.

"C'mon move it." Michael muttered giving me a shove in the back.

I sighed and picked up my pace to the front door where mum stood holding Abbie and Craig was shoving all the stuff into the car.

"Michael and Abbie, you're in the middle. Alice. You're in the back." She said, saying my name with a coldness full of hate.

"Yes! Suck it!" Michael bragged, poking my arm.

I shook him off before climbing into the back seat of the car, letting the seats in front snap up for Michael and Abbie to sit on.

To be honest I was happy to sit in the back. That way I could draw undisturbed with no sticky fingers poking and prodding my page and no stupid laughing in my ear. Just me, my sketchbook, my pencil and my music.

I waited until we were all in the car and a few streets away before pulling out my iPod, shoving my earphones in and choosing on of my many 'Drawing' playlists. I chose my favorite one, a mix of Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Blink 182 and Pierce The Veil..

I pulled my sketchbook onto my lap, smoothing down one of the many photos of Blink 182 I had stuck on the front of it.

I grabbed one of my proper drawing pencils before tapping it against the page, wondering what I could draw..

Suddenly a thought came to me, I could draw Green Day! I haven't drawn a band in ages, and I knew what all of them looked like, considering I see, well, saw I suppose, them almost every day of the week.

I started with Billie Joe first, smack bang in the middle of the page. I drew the outline of his skinny frame in light pencil, making sure it was the correct height. Next I added in his scruffy but adorable and fluffy black hair, drawing the outline in a messy jagged manner so it would look realistic. Next I moved onto his face, trying to draw the details of his eyes, nose and mouth, making sure that all the 3D dimensions were just right and that I shaded it in the right places. Gee, Billie Joe was hard to draw. I quickly drew in his signature black, short sleeved dress shirt with his red tie and his trademark black skinny jeans. I held the drawing a few meters away from me. It wasn't my best but considering I was drawing from memory it wasn't too shabby if I did say so myself. Next I moved onto Mike, making him taller than Billie obviously. After taking about another 10 minutes to draw Mike I drew Tré, making him just taller than Billie but not as tall as Mike. I grinned at the drawing, it looked alright.

I finished all the shading and stuff before grabbing my coloured pencils. Again I started on Billie Joe, colouring inside the jagged outline of his fluffy hair with my jet black pencil. I moved to his face and sorted through the different greens I had, trying to find just the perfect colour for his eyes. I did and delicately coloured in the right parts of his eyes before moving to his shirt and tie and then his pants. After about an hour or two later it was almost finished, I was just adding the finishing touches to the skin tones. I finished the drawing just as Craig announced we were there. I looked up saw the house that was now our new home. I looked alright I guess, white picket fence with a grey roof. The bricks a creamy white colour. The grass in the front lawn was freshly mown and looked green as hell, with a small birdbath stood on a tall pole in the middle. A kids playset of swings and slides and all that stuff was off to the corner with a few other bits and bobs. It looked good enough, I guess we'd have to find out when we went inside. "Ooooh!" Screamed Abbie in delight. I sighed and grabbed my stuff, waiting for the seats to be rolled down.

After I was last to get out and all the stuff was unloaded I grabbed my bag and the keys Craig had handed me before unlocking the door. Inside was pretty magnificent. When I say it was magnificent I mean it was amazing but I absolutely hated it.

When you stood at the front door you could see all the way down to the end of the house where there was sliding glass doors that led out to the patio and backyard as well as the pool. In front of me was a massive staircase with modern looking stairs that led to the second level of the house. Off to the left was the living room, a giant room with soft black carpet and creamy white walls. Off to the right was the gigantic kitchen with its marble stone bench tops and a breakfast bar. All the stove and stuff were stainless steel with glass cupboards overhead. Further down the hall was what seemed to be an empty room, probably for something like Craig's pool table and stuff. On the left side further down was the what I assumed to be the dining room. "Wow." I uttered.

"C'mon move it shortstack." Michael muttered, shoving me out of the way as he traipsed down the hall.

I sighed and carried my bag upstairs, ready to take dibs on a bedroom. There was a fancy metal gate at the bottom of the stairs which I unlocked and stepped through before letting it close itself and re-lock. I walked up the oak timber stairs before stepping through the gate at the top of the stairs and out onto the landing. I walked into the room in front of me and quickly discovered it to be the master bedroom. It didn't interest me because obviously mum and Craig would be sleeping in there. The next room along beside the master bedroom was fairly small and had the same soft black carpet as downstairs and I assumed it would be Abbie's room. The next room was biggish with white walls and again the same black carpet. It had had two windows looking out to the front yard and a standard wardrobe with sliding doors and a full body length mirror. The fourth room was probably the biggest and I liked it the best. It had a fair sized window with a comfortable enough looking window seat which I though would be good for drawing or reading. A few meters down from the window there was normal sized French doors leading out to a balcony that overlooked the street. As well as all that it had a huge walk in wardrobe with a full body length mirror.

I dumped my bags onto the middle of the floor. This was officially my room no matter what.

Suddenly mum's face appeared through the door way, "So you've picked this one?" She asked wearily. I nodded firmly. "Alright. I'll tell Michael he can't have this room then. The moving van will be here with all our stuff soon." Said mum before turning and leaving the room. She seemed to be in an unusually good mood. And she was actually being nice to me. That was a surprise.

Maybe living in Baltimore won't be so bad?
