Ella was sitting on the floor in the living room, texting Will. She was about to get up and leave when Mary Margaret yelled, "Ella!"
Mary Margaret had left the room to talk to Emma while David sat on the sofa behind Ella. He was reading the newspaper and trying to get her to open up to him.
Every time he said something, Ella simply shut him up by either giving him a look or telling him to shut up.
Ella sighed, stood up and headed into the room where Mary Margaret was
Ella stood in front of Mary Margaret as she put the phone on speaker.
A few minutes of explaining, Mary Margaret said, "Wait... Gold's son is Henry's father?"
"I know I know and the millions of questions you have, I have too but the problem is it doesn't matter right now because I don't know what to do." Emma said
"Please don't tell me you're calling to ask us to tell you to keep it from him?"
"Henry thinks his father is dead. I told him that for a reason. I want to protect him." Emma stated
Mary Margaret simply said, "No matter what this guy did, Henry has a right to know who his father is- the truth about your parents-"
Ella cut her off saying, "Emma you of all people should know how important that is."
"I don't want Henry to get hurt. I just want to protect him." Emma said, sounding like she was about to cry
"Are you sure this is about protecting Henry or yourself?" Ella asked
"Okay, getting off this subject." Emma said with a small laugh, "Mary Margaret can I talk to Ella for a second?"
"Yeah sure." Mary Margaret said as she handed the phone to Ella who quickly moved out the room.
Ella outside the apartment on the stairs as Emma said, "How you doing?"
"Well my nose bleeds black now." Ella said with a small chuckle, "And nightmares keep coming."
"Wait, what nightmares you never said anything about nightmares."
"They're nothing Emma."
"Anna."
Ella sighed and said, "One of the many annoying side effects I quite literally have to scream myself awake and what is with you calling me Anna sometimes it's Ella sometimes it's Anna choose one for gods sake"
"Have you told them yet?" Emma asked with a sigh
Ella shut her eyes and said, "No, they don't even know about the nightmares even though I still live in the apartment which is awkward as hell by the way. To be honest I'm tempted to not sleep but I know I need to. So I don't have to when you and Henry get back."
"Anna you shouldn't-"
Ella cut her off saying, "I know but I'm not going to scare him! I want to protect him just like you."
"I know, I'll call you again later and I'll make sure you talk to Henry as you never got to say goodbye."
"Alright, thanks Emma." Ella said standing up.
"Be careful Anna please." Emma said
"Does Emma swan have a soft spot for me?" Ella laughed
"Yes I do, even though you don't like to admit it you are still my sister."
"See you later Emma."
Ella hung up the phone and groaned as she put her head in her hands

"So Rumpelstiltskin is Henry's grandfather?" David said as Mary Margaret finished explaining everything to him
Mary Margaret nodded and said, "Apparently."
"But I'm his grandfather." David said looking between the two ladies
"You can have more than one." Ella said rolling her eyes
"So his step- grandmother is Regina the Evil queen." David asked clearly confused by the whole thing
Ella spoke up saying, "Actually his step- great- grandmother, Mary Margaret's his grandmother... and she's also his adoptive mother... wait am I step- related to Cora, that's bloody fantastic ?" Ella groaned
"It's a good thing we don't have Thanksgiving in our and because that dinner would suck." David stated
Mary Margaret laughed then said, "Or... maybe this will mellow everyone out."
"I think if we had thanksgiving, everyone would be dead by the end of it." Ella said with a smirk

"You two know each other. You two know each other! How?" Gold realized as he looked between Emma and Neal.
Emma sighed and turned towards him saying, "You sent me chasing after him."
She was cut off by Gold saying, "No no no stop it! You're lying, how do you two know each other!?"
Before Emma and Neal could say anything Henry walked into the room saying, "Mom? What's going on?"
Emma walked over to Henry and put her hands on his shoulders as Neal asked, "Who's this?"
"My son." Emma said as she looked back at Henry
Neal was confused as he said, "What?"
"Is that Baelfire?" Henry asked as he looked at Neal
Emma immediately said, "I need you to stay in the other room for a little while okay? I'll give you my phone so you can call Anna."
Henry brightened up at the mention of his older sister as she and Henry walked began to walk into the other room.
"How old are you?" Neal asked Henry
"Don't answer him." Emma said as she kept pushing Henry forwards
Neal yelled, "How old are you kid!?"
"Eleven!" Henry yelled back, "Now why is everyone yelling?"
Neal looked at Henry then back at Emma saying, "He's Eleven?"
Henry looked over at Emma saying, "Mom?"
"Is this my son?" Neal asked
Henry shook his head saying, "No. My dad was a fireman, H-He died." He looked at Emma, "That's what you told me you said..."
"Is this my son?" Neal asked again
Emma cupped Henry's face and said, ""Yes."
Neal looked away as he rubbed his face, and Henry pulled away, grabbed her phone from her pocket and immediately ran out onto the terrace.
"Henry!" Emma said going after him
Emma saw that he had her phone in his hand and was dialling a number probably Anna and backed away knowing that he needed space.
Ella picked up saying, "hello?"
"Ella!" Henry said cheering up a bit
"What happened kid?" Ella said knowing something wasn't right.
"I know who my dad is." Henry said as he looked over the terrace railing.
"How do you feel about that? I know you wanted to meet him." Ella said
"I know but... Emma lied to me."
"I know but sometimes people believe lying is the right thing to do to protect someone, you need to talk to Emma about this not me, she has the answers. Talk to her and if you decide you want to get to know Neal, get to know him. If I had a second chance with my dad I would take it."
"Okay..." Henry said after a second, "Love you Ella."
"I love you too kid."
Henry shut the phone and said to Emma, "Let's talk."

"Who is Anna in our world? Henry couldn't stop talking about her." Neal said when Henry had gone into the other room after their talk on the fire escape.
"He didn't say who she is?" Emma asked as Neal shook his head no
"Very thick British accent, brown hair with green highlights, has a brother with the name Will Scarlett..."
"Izzy? Izzy Scarlett is Anna?" Neal said shocked
Emma nodded and said, "Yeah, she adores Henry, and how many names does this girl have?"
"Izzy Scarlett adoring someone other than Pan that's a surprise." Neal muttered, "She has a long name and multiple ways of shortening it."
Emma looked at him and said, "Did you know her?"
Neal nodded and said, "Yeah I was on Neverland for a bit, she looked after me when I was a kid, time zones are weird so somehow she was still an adult."
"She always mentions time zones" Emma said
"I'm surprised she is even in Storybrooke I thought she would never leave him."
"Believe me she didn't want to."

"You okay?" Mary Margaret asked as Ella walked in the apartment coming back from the bar
"I think I'm going to take my own advice..." Ella trailed off
"Which is?" David asked standing up
"To give you a chance, I'm ready to talk."
