Jennie's POV
"I don't know unnie. It feels like a part of me is missing. I feel so empty. I thought after our marriage I can be finally happy. But no, he comes home late, he's busy with the company. We rarely spend time with each other. It looks like he love his work more than his wife." I cried as she listens to my rant. She just look at me with pity.
"You know Jennie, sometimes you have to let go of someone for them to be able to see your value. If he gave all his time in his works rather than you then give him that time. Let him miss you. Sometimes when you're always available, they take you for granted because they think you'll always stay. But is that what you really desire? Is that what your heart really desire? Ever since you talked to me about that Lisa girl, you're not yourself anymore. Is it him that you really missed or that Lisa? Jennie make up your mind 'cause one mistake can lead you to lose someone who can give you their world and not only about money. Don't be too blind about love and temporary happiness. I hope you know that" She said as she begin to stand up. Her words is like a knives of truth and it hits me like a truck. I begin to think of all the times I'm with Lisa. She made me happy effortlessly. She taught me how to love but I'm to blind to see hers. Not like Kai who buys me nice clothes and jewelries... It doesn't really make me happy. It feels like he's buying my love and I've been to gullible not to see that.
"I really don't know unnie... I'm married but I'm missing someone I shouldn't. It'll be unfair to him if I choose her now." I defended my love for Kai. But is it really love or just the fear of being judged by people?
"If you miss that person while married to a man it means you're not truely devoted to him. You can't miss someone and be with a man at the same time. Jennie don't be selfish. You're not only hurting the people around you but you're breaking yourself also. You need to make a decision because lost chances will never come back if you're too late. I hope you have the courage to walk away from anyone that makes you feel like you are hard to love." With that Jisoo leaves me alone in this huge house. I just cried because I know she's right and I can't even defend myself. But what's there to defend? It's clear what Kai and I have is just a fake love.
An hour crying in this sofa I heard someone open the door. I quickly wiped my tears and make a fake smile. There I saw my husband. It looks like he haven't seen me yet so I decided to talk.
"Hi love! I made you dinner. Wanna eat? Come take a seat. I'll set the food for you." I greeted as I hugged him. He just pushed me away and dropped his bag.
"Don't bother because I'm not hungry. And stop being so clingy, I'm too tired for this." He said as he took of his coat and necktie. But before he headed upstairs I said something that made him stop in his tracks.
"I'm tired of this. You're like this everyday! What? Can't I greet my husband? Can't I cook for my husband? You're always work! Work here! Work there! You never even bother to ask how was my day! It's like I'm just nothing to you!" I screamed and break down. I've been too fed up with his shits and I can't bear it anymore.
"Well if you're so 'tired' with me then let's get a divorce!" He shouted at me and I just looked at him in shock. What did he say? Did I heard it right?
"Fuck you!" I said as I took off my ring and run out of the house. I just let my foot go wherever it leads me.
Third Person's POV
Kai sighed and rubbed his temples as he just watched his wife run out of his sight. He started to go to his room but the ring caught his sight.
'This ring was really never meant for you' He thought as he gripped the ring thinking of the person he truly loves.
Jennie just run and run. She stopped. She pant and looked at where she is now. At Jisoo's house. She knocked and after Jisoo opened the door she was immediately engulfed by a hug. She hugged back before she noticed a wet dripping on her shirt. She pulled away and saw Jennie crying. Jennie told her everything happened after she left their house. She comforted the crying girl and let her spend the night at her house.
*A week after*
Jennie knocked on the door. The door opened and revealed Kai who's just staring at her. He let her in and made her seat onthe couch.
"So why are you here? Do you wanna still get a divorce?" Kai asked as he fiddled with his thumbs.
"Yeah... I think this will never gonna work out. I love someone and it looks like you're stuck in your past too. It wouldn't be a healthy relationship if we keep this longer." Jennie explained as he looked into Kai's tear filled eyes.
"Can you just tell me that you love me? Even if it's the last time? Lie to me please?" Kai cried and bowed his head not wanting to look at her. Jennie cupped his face and smiled.
"I loved you. It's not a lie. I really loved you but I guess I lost feelings because there's someone who already owned my heart." Jennie let go of his face and he just cried more. It's nice knowing that she loved him. Even if it's just for a short time.
He sadly smiled. Atleast now he have a reason to chase for his first love. He left and came back with a paper in his hands. Jennie looked at him confused at what's in his hands.
"I've expected this will happen so I already set everything if you'll continue." He said as he handed out the paper for Jennie to see. As Jennie opened the paper she looked at him in shock.
"Yeah. It's a divorce paper. I already signed it 'cause I know you'll come back for having a divorce with me. It just needs your signature." He bitterly smiled. Jennie pity him but she knows somebody deserve him more than she does.
"Thank you for this. Really. I appreciate this." Jennie said as she hugged him. They let go.
"It's nice having you in my life Jennie but I guess this is a goodbye for us. I hope we can be friends in the near future and of course, both have a real lovers." Kai smiled and hugged her for the last time before Jennie leave their house. Oh my apologies. His house.
Now all she need is one thing. She walked to the house hoping the owner still lives here. Jennie take a deep breath before hesitantly pushed the doorbell. In open, there she saw a woman who she missed for this past few years. She changed her hair. It was no longer a ginger long hair. Her hair is short and black right now. And of course her bangs. Lisa looked at her in shock. Still trying to comprehend if she's dreaming or not. After a few seconds Lisa finally came to her senses. She looked at Jennie's hand to find the ring nowhere to be seen.
"Oh... Uhm.. I finally get a divorce with Kai. I came here to say I missed you and -" Jennie was cut off.
"Babe, who's there?" she saw a hands wrapping around Lisa's waist. A face of a beautiful silver haired woman leaned on Lisa's neck. Lisa is speechless not knowing what to do in her current situation.
"Oh I'm sorry... I just came here to say hi because I just passed by." Jennie said as she looked at the couple in front of her.
"Oh would you like to come in? Have a tea or coffee?" The silver haired woman offered.
"Oh no... It's fine. I'll be going now" Jennie reasoned out and ran away.
Lisa pushed the arms around her waist and glared at the woman in front of her.
"Yah! Why did you do that?" Lisa growled and the woman feel scared for her life now.
"Why? Is it bad to hug my dear little baby?" The girl asked as she pinched Lisa's cheeks.
"No but don't you know her?" Lisa asked and glared.
"Eh? Who is she anyways and why are you acting like that?" The girl pointed at Lisa's face.
"She's Jennie! And you just ruined everything!" Lisa said and pushed the girl away. The girl make an O with her mouth somewhat understanding the situation.
"Aish you chipmunk! I'll be going now. Prepare foods for dinner Chaeyoung! Bye!" Lisa shouted as she rushed out to find the girl.
"Go chase her my dear best friend! When you come back I want to be an aunt!" Lisa heard the girl shouted and she chuckled at that.
Lisa roamed around looking at where the girl could possibly go.
Meanwhile...
"I left her 2 years ago. Of course she's taken! What am I even thinking? I could go there and thought everything will go back to normal? Jisoo unnie is right. I guess I already lost my chance this time. Why is this happening to me? I just want to get loved. What's wrong with that?" Jennie tought as she cried until it started to rain.
'aish.. really!? Right now!?' she internally groaned.
A hand suddenly wrapped around her wrist pulling her into a hug. She was shocked as she tried to get out of the person's grip.
"Don't you dare leave me right now. Not when you left me two years ago. Not now please. Not again. I still want you. I still need you. I love you. Please just let me love you this time" The person said. Jennie looked up and saw Lisa crying. Even though it's raining it's clear that's she's crying.
"But you're taken now. I can't be selfish when you love somebody now. I-" she was cut off with a kiss. It's soft and tender. It's like she doesn't want to hurt her. Lisa pulled away and stare at Jennie's eyes.
"You're the only one I'll love for the rest of my life Jennie. She's my friend. A clingy one. So stop those nonsense. I want you... Only you Jennie Kim. So if you'll give me a chance this time, are you willing to take the infinity with me?" Lisa asked wiping the smaller girl's tears.
"Yes Lisa. I'm yours now. I'm yours. I love you." Jennie sobs and hugged Lisa tighter. Not wanting to let go of this person anymore. She's willing to give her everything just to be with this person behind her. And right now, there's nothing holding her back to loving someone and to be love back.
"I love you more Nini" Lisa whispered and hugged her.
