(Readers POV)
I'm watching the news right now on tv. I'm just sitting on the couch. I heard some footsteps behind me. I was about to turn around, but arms wrapped around me. I looked back and saw my girlfriend, Qrowe.
(Y/N): Hey Qrowe.
We have been dating for some years now.
Qrowe: Hey (Y/N).
Her voice is a little slurred.
(Y/N): Did you get drunk again?
Qrowe: ...Maybe.
She rested her head on my shoulder. I can smell the alcohol in her breath.
(Y/N): You really need to stop drinking as much.
Qrowe: More like, you need to start drinking.
(Y/N): I'm not a drinker.
She pouted at me.
Qrowe: You're no fun sometimes.
She let go of me and walked around the couch. She sat down on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck.
Qrowe: Do you know just how much I love you?
(Y/N): You tell me everyday.
Qrowe: I don't care how much I tell you.
(Y/N): Alright. I do know how much you love me and I love you just as much.
Qrowe: Good.
She gave me a kiss and rested her head on my chest. I noticed that Qrowe gets kinda clingy when she gets drunk, though she kinda is always drunk. I don't know why she gets clingy. I wrapped my arms around her and held her close.
Qrowe: Hey, (Y/N)?
(Y/N): Do you need something?
Qrowe: I ran out of whiskey. Can you get me more?
I sighed.
(Y/N): Alright. Let me up.
She groaned and got off of me. I got up and grabbed my wallet.
(Y/N): I'll be back in a bit.
Qrowe: I'm coming with.
(Y/N): You're going? Then why do I have to get it?
Qrowe: Because I knew you wouldn't come with me.
(Y/N): You could have just asked me to come with you.
She stayed silent for a moment. She got mad.
Qrowe: Yeah right! I asked you last week and you said no!
(Y/N): That's because you wanted to go at three in the morning.
She pouted at me. I walked up to her and hugged her.
(Y/N): I swear, you act like your niece Ruby sometimes.
Qrowe: I'm not a pipsqueak!
I kissed her forehead and stopped hugging her.
(Y/N): Let's get going.
Qrowe: Alright.
(Time skip) (Qrowe's POV)
Me and (Y/N) walked into an alcohol store. I looked around and the store has mostly women in it. I wrapped my arms around (Y/N)'s right arm and pulled him closer to me.
(Y/N): Is everything ok?
I just nodded my head. We got the whiskey I wanted and we went to pay for it. The cashier is a woman, causing me to pull (Y/N) even closer. (Y/N) placed the whiskey on the counter.
Cashier: Is that all you will be getting?
(Y/N): Yeah.
He payed for the whiskey. He grabbed it and handed it to me.
Cashier: Have a good day, cutie.
I got mad at her for calling my boyfriend cutie.
Qrowe: Hey! He's taken!
(Y/N): Qrowe, please.
He said bye to the whore of a cashier and we walked out the store.
Qrowe: We are not going there again.
(Y/N): She was just being nice.
Qrowe: She was trying to take you from me.
He just sighed and gave me a quick kiss.
(Y/N): Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere. I already have an amazing girlfriend.
Qrowe: You promise?
(Y/N): I promise.
He gave me a smile that warmed my heart. I hugged him tightly and he hugged back.
Qrowe: You are the best.
(Y/N): I try.
Qrowe: And thanks for the whiskey.
(Y/N): You're welcome. Anything for you.
(Time skip) (Readers POV)
Me and Qrowe made it back home. She opened the bottle of whiskey and took a big sip from it. She looked at me.
Qrowe: Want a taste?
(Y/N): No. you know I don't drink.
Qrowe: Why not?
(Y/N): I don't like the taste of alcohol.
Qrowe: You just haven't had the good stuff yet.
Her scroll went off. She checked it and answered it.
Qrowe: Hey Tai. What's up?... You need me to watch Ruby and Yang for a couple days? They're old enough to watch themselves... What do you mean that they get into trouble alone?... They are fine... What do you mean they are too young?
(Y/N): Qrowe, it's fine. They can stay here.
Qrowe: Fine. They can come to (Y/N)'s house. Bye.
Qrowe put her scroll away in her pocket.
Qrowe: Tai will be here in a bit.
(Y/N): Cool. I like Ruby and Yang's company. How old are they now?
Qrowe: Yang is twelve and Ruby is ten now.
(Y/N): Man. They grow up so fast. Is Zwei coming too?
Qrowe just shrugged at me.
(Time skip)
I heard the doorbell ring. I walked up to the door and opened it.
Tai: Hey (Y/N).
(Y/N): Hey Tai.
Yang stood next to him and he is holding Ruby. I noticed that Yang is holding Zwei.
Ruby: Hello (Y/N).
Tai: I have to go on a mission. It will last a few days, so I'm sorry to be so sudden.
(Y/N): It's fine. Come on girls.
Tai handed me Ruby. Yang walked inside. I closed the door.
Ruby: Where's aunt Qrowe?
After Ruby asked that, Qrowe walked into the room.
Ruby: Aunt Qrowe!
She jumped out of my arms and jumped at Qrowe. Ruby grabbed onto her arm and stayed like that. Qrowe raised her arm up and Ruby swung on it like it's a monkey bar.
Ruby: Did you miss me?! Did you miss me?!
Qrowe smiled at her and ruffled her hair.
Qrowe: Nope.
Zwei jumped out of Yang's arm and ran up to me. I petted him on the head.
(Y/N): How are you little pup?
I'm pretty sure they got Zwei not so long ago. I think he's about five months old now.
Yang: I'm bored.
(Y/N): We can play video games if you want.
Yang: Ok, but be prepared to lose.
(Time skip)
It was nighttime. I'm reading a story for Ruby so she will go to sleep.
(Y/N): The huntress slayed all the Grimm and was praised as a hero for all time. The end.
I closed the book and Ruby looked at me.
Ruby: Do you think I can be like that huntress when I'm older?
I smiled and kissed her on the forehead.
(Y/N): You can do anything Ruby. I know you can become an even better huntress then the one in the story.
Ruby smiled at me. She yawned and laid down on the bed. Zwei jumped up on the bed and laid down next to Ruby. Ruby closed her eyes and put an arm around Zwei. I put the covers over Ruby. I turned off the lights and left the room.
(Y/N): Ruby is too precious for this world.
I silently closed the door. I checked my scroll and noticed I got a message from Qrowe a few hours ago.
(Y/N): "I'm going out for a few drinks." Judging that she isn't back yet, it was more then a few drinks. I should go find her and make sure she's safe. Who knows what she does when she gets drunk.
I pulled out a box from my back pocket. I opened it and it held a ring.
(Y/N): Me and Qrowe have been dating for some time now. I think it's time that I ask her to marry me.
(Qrowe's POV)
I'm at a bar. I got another drink. I kinda forgot how long I have been here for. I finished my drink and checked the time.
Qrowe: I should be heading home. (Y/N) is probably worrying his cute head off about me.
I smiled to myself. I was about to get up, but someone placed their hand on my shoulder. I looked and saw a guy.
Man: Hey there. What is a pretty lady like yourself doing here alone?
Great, it's one of these guys. The ones that flirt with me. It gets really annoying after awhile.
Qrowe: Sorry, but I have a boyfriend.
Man: I wasn't asking for a date.
Qrowe: Sure you weren't.
He looked up and looked at a tv.
Man: You want to make a bet?
I got kinda curious.
Qrowe: What kinda bet?
Man: There is a tournament match on the tv right now. I want to bet to see who wins.
Qrowe: Sure. I assume you want to bet money.
Man: If you win, I can give you money. If I win, I get a kiss from you.
Why didn't I see this coming? I swear at least one guy tries this trick every week. I checked my wallet and noticed I don't have enough money to pay for all my drinks. Just my luck.
Man: Is it a deal?
I can't believe what I'm going to say.
Qrowe: Fine, sure. It's a deal.
We shook hands. I took my bet on who would win the match. I just hope my luck isn't shit right now.
(Time skip)
The match concluded. The one I betted one lost. I groaned. Just my luck.
Man: Looks like I win.
Qrowe: Whatever. Let's get this over with.
I turned to face him. It's just a quick kiss, nothing serious. I leaned forward and placed my lips on his. I heard a gasp near me.
(Y/N): Qrowe?
My eyes went wide. I pushed the guy away and turned to see (Y/N) standing there.
(Y/N): What were you doing?
Qrowe: Wait. It's not what it looks like, I swear. I can explain.
Tears formed in the corner of his eyes. He ran out the bar.
Man: Who the hell was that?
I got mad and punched the guy in the face, giving him a bloody nose. I got up and ran after (Y/N). I went out the bar and looked around. I saw him running down the street.
Qrowe: (Y/N)! Wait!
I chased after him. I stumble around a bit, causing me to stay behind. I followed him all the way to the house. He opened the front door and quickly closed it.
Qrowe: Please let me explain!
I made it to the door and tried to open it. The door is locked. I banged my hands on the door.
Qrowe: Open the door!
(Y/N): Why should I?!
Qrowe: Please listen to me. I can explain.
I heard the door unlock. He opened it and walked out. I went to hug him, but he pushed me away.
(Y/N): Have you been doing this every time you go out?! Is that why you always come home late?!
Qrowe: What?! No! I just made a dumb bet!
(Y/N): Dumb is right! How could you?!
Qrowe: I-
(Y/N): I can't believe you would do this behind my back. Go away.
Qrowe: What?
(Y/N): I said go away! I don't want you near me anymore!
I felt my heart break. Tears freely flowed from my eyes.
Qrowe: Please, trust me. For my whole life, I have had the worst luck in my life. You were the only good thing to happen to me in a long time. I can't live without you. You are the good luck in my life.
I hugged him and cried in his chest. He placed his hands on my shoulder. I looked up at him.
(Y/N): Then I guess you have to figure out how to live without me.
I let go of him.
Qrowe: Let me take Ruby and Yang.
(Y/N): No! I don't trust a cheating drunk with two children! They will stay here until Tai comes to get them! Now leave!
(Readers POV)
Qrowe wiped her eyes and turned around. She walked away. I went inside my house and locked the door. I went and locked all the other doors and windows. I walked over to my couch and sat down.
(Y/N): Why? What did I do wrong?
I couldn't control my tears anymore. I couldn't hold them in. I put my face in my hands and cried into them.
Ruby: (Y/N)? What's wrong?
I looked to my right and saw Ruby, holding Zwei, looking at me with concern.
(Y/N): Everything is ok Ruby? Do you need something?
Ruby walked up to me and placed Zwei down. She jumped up on the couch and hugged me.
Ruby: You don't have to cry. I know everything will be better.
I hugged Ruby and held her close. My tears came out faster. After hugging her for a bit, I let go of her.
(Y/N): Come on Ruby. Let's get you back to bed.
(Time skip) (Qrowe's POV)
It's been a few days since (Y/N) broke up with me. I'm at the bar and drinking my life away. I pulled out a picture of me and (Y/N) together. He looks so happy. Tears fell on the picture, staining the picture.
Qrowe: I could I make such a stupid mistake?
I took a swig of my drink. I asked for another one.
Bartender: That is your tenth drink today and you have been coming here for each day for the past few days. I'm going to cut you off.
I sighed and took all the money out of my money. I placed it on the counter and got up.
Qrowe: Keep the change.
I walked out the bar. I started to walk down the street. I haven't been doing any huntress work.
Qrowe: I need him back.
I rolled up my sleeve and looked at the cuts on my arm. I rolled my sleeve back down and pulled out my flask. It's empty.
Qrowe: Come on. Can just one good thing happen to me?
I looked forward and saw him. The guy that ruined my life.
Man: Hey, it's you again. The hell was up with you punching me?!
I want revenge on him.
Qrowe: I'm incredibly sorry about that. I was just drunk. If you want, I can make it up to you.~
Man: Alright.
Qrowe: Good. Let's go into that alleyway.
I walked into the alleyway and he followed behind me.
Man: No one will see us here.
Perfect. I turned around and looked at him.
Qrowe: Close your eyes. I have a surprise for you.
Man: Ok.
He closed his eyes like an idiot. I got my sword out. I placed my hand on his mouth and stabbed him in the stomach. He started to scream, but my hand muffled him.
Qrowe: You ruined my life. Now I'm taking yours.
I pulled my sword out of him and stabbed him again. He lost consciousness from loss of blood. I picked his body up and dumped him into a nearby dumpster, leaving him to die.
Qrowe: I feel... better. But I need (Y/N) back and that's what I'm going to do.
(Readers POV)
Tai is supposed to come by today and pick Ruby and Yang up. Me, Ruby, and Yang are just watching tv.
Ruby: Where is aunt Qrowe?
(Y/N): Oh, um... she's... out right now.
Yang: She has been out for a few days now.
(Y/N): She told me that she went out to do a mission.
Ruby: She's so cool.
(Y/N): Yeah... cool.
I heard a knock on the door. I got up and answered it.
Tai: Hey (Y/N).
(Y/N): Hey Tai. Ruby! Yang! Your dad is here!
Ruby, Yang, and Zwei ran out and went up to Tai.
Tai: Thanks again for watching them.
(Y/N): You're welcome. I can babysit again anytime.
Ruby: Bye (Y/N).
(Y/N): Bye Ruby. I hope to see you soon.
They waved bye and they all left. I walked back in my house. I noticed a framed picture of me and Qrowe together.
(Y/N): I guess I forgot to get rid of this.
I heard another knock on the door.
(Y/N): Ruby and Yang must have forgotten something.
I walked up to the door and opened it. I was expecting Tai, but I saw Qrowe. She is looking down at the ground.
(Y/N): What do you want?
She looked up at me. I saw dried tear stains all over her face, I can smell the alcohol from her, and her hair is a mess.
Qrowe: Please, take me back.
(Y/N): Why should I?
Qrowe: I promise the person you saw at the bar wasn't me.
(Y/N): I guess I was just seeing things. I saw you kissing another man!
Qrowe: It was the alcohol. I wouldn't even dare to think about doing that.
(Y/N): Listen, you have to move on. You made mistakes and so did I. I thought I could trust you.
Qrowe started to sob quietly. I can't help but feel a little bad for her.
Qrowe: I can change, I will change. Just give me another chance, that's all I beg from you.
(Y/N): Please, just leave.
Qrowe tried to walk past me to get in my house. I grabbed her arm to stop her. When I grabbed her arm, she flinched in pain.
(Y/N): Why did that hurt?
She just looked away. I rolled up her sleeve and saw her arm covered in cuts. Each of them seem to be deeper then the last.
(Y/N): What the hell? What have you been doing to yourself?
Qrowe started to cry. She wrapped her arms around me and clung onto me like her life depended on it.
Qrowe: I did this to punish myself. All I could feel was sadness and regret and I wanted to feel something different.
I wrapped my arms around her and rubbed her back to calm her down.
(Y/N): What else did you do?
Qrowe: I burnt my lips so I could get rid of that disgusting man's germs.
She really is destroyed from this. She really hurt herself over me.
(Y/N): You shouldn't hurt yourself, not matter what.
I placed my hand under her chin and made her look up at me. I looked into her pale red eyes. I wiped her tears away.
(Y/N): Do you really regret what you did?
Qrowe: Yes! I'll do anything to make it up to you, I'll even stop drinking!
I placed my lips on hers. More tears came from her eyes and she returned the kiss. We stayed like that for awhile. I broke the kiss.
(Y/N): I'm going to give you another chance. But this is going to be the only chance I'm giving you.
Qrowe: Thank you thank you thank you! I promise you won't regret this!
(Y/N): Come inside. We need to treat those wounds.
We walked inside the house. She held my hand and intertwined our fingers.
Qrowe: I love you. More than anything in this world.
I smiled at her. I can tell her words are genuine. I gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
(Y/N): I love you too.
I got a first aid kit and tended to Qrowe's wounds. I wrapped her arm in bandages.
(Y/N): Did you cut your other arm?
She shook her head no. I sighed in relief. I reached for my back pocket and pulled out a small box.
Qrowe: Whats that?
(Y/N): It's a gift. Open it.
She took the box from my hand and opened it.
Qrowe: A ring?
She realized what the ring meant. She wiped away a tear from her eye.
Qrowe: Of course I'll marry you!
She hugged me and I hugged her back.
Qrowe: You really are the good luck in my life.
