Kagami POV
It's a little late, well, its not that late it's only 6pm. Come to think of it, i would usually be asleep at this time. But since it's Friday and I'm waiting for Marinette and Alya to arrive, it's all good.
I researched everything I thought of for a sleepover, popcorn and different snacks on the island top, a little fort in the living room, oh and where we sleep, we all have three individual rooms including each bathroom. Can't really blame myself but that's just how my house is.
Marinette: Super hyped for tonight!! We'll be on our way soon :)
Sent: 5:30pm
It's been thirty minutes since she sent me that, and all I could think of is her.
Marinette. In my house.
"Ding dong!" The bell rang and i ran downstairs. Once I opened the door, Marinette face was a bundle of joy, with Alya right by her side.
"Hey Mari, hey Alya." I smiled and waved, in a friendly way of course
"Hey Kagami. I can't wait for this sleepover to start." Marinette said while hugging me
I froze for a minute before I hugged her back with certainty. "It already has."
She and Alya giggled while I did too and we all went inside. They already noticed everything I set up and were in awe. I told them to go upstairs and put their belongings in any room they want and come back downstairs when they're finished. When they came back I was sitting in the mini fort waiting for them to join me.
"Wow Kagami, you put a lot of hard work into this." Marinette said while joining me
"Definitely. How long did this take?" Alya added while also coming in the fort.
"About 3 hours, but most of it came from research i did on sleepovers."
Both of them gasped.
"Sorry if its too much to take in."
"Oh no don't apologize. Its amazing."
I smiled, "Thanks. So I kind of made a little list on what we should do for this sleepover, hold on let me show you two."
I grabbed a small sheet of paper from my pocket that had this written on it:
-Watch a scary movie (s)
-Play truth or dare, skeletons in the closet, etc.
-Bake goodies
-pillow fights
-go to sleep, if tired
Alya and I were skimming through it to see which part to do first.
"I know, its not much but this was mostly what I could-"
"Hold that thought, Kagami." Alya interrupted.
"Come on, at least let her finish. Don't worry, its just fine. We got it all covered, okay?"
I grinned happily but also in relief. "Yeah, thank you Mari."
Just a few seconds after I responded, Alya said we should play truth or dare and we both agreed. Marinette looked a little flustered but I'm assuming its just for the thrill of the game, or something else im not aware of because of the way Alya is slyly looking at her.
"Marinette you go first." Alya said.
"Okay. Kagami truth or dare?"
"Truth." I replied
"What is one thing you did that your mom doesn't know of?"
"Ooh looks like someone's playing it safe." Alya teased.
"Alya!!" Marinette giggled.
"Hm, Well I did sneak into Adrien's house once, mainly because we didn't live far from each other then."
"You used to live near A-Adrien?"
"Yeah but it was when i was in my primary years. What's wrong? You seem really embarrassed.
"Don't worry, girl. She's fine. Just a little jealous since she has the biggest crush on him."
"Oh." Just for that moment, my heart sank, as if the biggest ocean in the sea was about to go down. (A/N: eyes blue, like the atlantic, and i'm going down, like the titanic LMAOAOAOA Sorry I jus had to make that reference ;3 anyways lets continue)
It was so weird. I showed no interest in him because he was always focused on others. He tried to hook up with me, but I turned him down real quick. But how come theres this...struck feeling in my chest. It's so weird.
"Kagami. You okay?"
Alya calling me put me back to the real world. "Yeah I'm fine. I mean mari you should tell him how you feel, and who knows, he might like you back." No, that's not what I meant to say.
"See, even Kagami says it."
"I guess." Marinette replies.
The sleepover went by like a breeze. Of course, we told scary stories and watched a few movies and ate a lot of sweets. Although, my mind wasn't on the fun, it was still lingering on Mari's feelings for Adrien, and its making my stomach hurt. Time went by and Marinette and Alya went into one room, shockingly, to go to sleep. They wanted me to join, but I wanted to stay in my room.
Right now, I'm just laying down on my bed writing.
This sleepover was really fun, considering its my first one.
but i guess, the truth or dare part caught me off gaurd. It's a little weird, though.
I thought about mari about this sleepover, and when we left school, its like
my whole mind is revolved around her. Hopefully I can figure these feelings out.
Just as I was writing, my door opened slowly, only to see Marinette standing there in her pijamas.
"Hey Kagami, hopefully I didn't disturb you." She whispered.
"Not at all. I was awake. You can come in."
She came in and lied down in my bed with me. Luckily its a queen sized bed so it's all good.
"So I'm assuming Alya is already asleep?"
"Yeah, she is. She's always the first one to fall asleep anyways."
I giggled. "Thats funny."
"Yeah, but I kinda snuck in your room just because I missed you."
I felt my face turn red a little. "Wait, y-you missed me?"
"I did. Because you weren't in the room. And also because I was a little lonely so I wanted to see if you were awake so i can get some company before I go to sleep. Also, is there something you wanted to talk to me personally about?"
"What do you mean?"
"Ever since we played truth or dare, you've been acting really strange. Is everything okay?"
Honestly, the response to that question wasn't something I could put in words. As much as I tried, I only answered 25% of it.
"Just a little worried about you. You know, if you ever tell him how you feel and somehow he rejects you, I don't want you to feel down or worse."
Marinette giggled a little bit and embraced me close into her arms. My entire body was cradeled into her chest, it felt soothing.
"Its okay. You don't need to worry about me. Everything will be fine. I promise."
As she said that, I cradeled myself in her arms even closer. Just her in my arms like that felt like heaven. I never wanted to let go. For the rest of the night, we slept close to each other.
