You walked into the cafe quickly, eager to get your morning coffee and head to class. Waiting in line was the hard part and even harder when the person was grumpy like you were.
So when you finally got your coffee it was easy to imagine how annoyed you were when you bumped into someone and your coffee spilled.
"Oh my goodness I'm sorry," You said.
"It's fine." The person replied,
His voice was so soothing that it made you feel less guilty. You looked up to face the stranger and was met with warm brown eyes staring back at you. He had the curliest brown hair and a soft smile.
"You done checking me out?" He asked.
"Huh? Omg I'm sorry," You said, embarrassed.
He chuckled, "No worries. I'll buy you a coffee."
"You don't have to-" You tried but he was already in line, waving at you to come over.
You had no choice but to follow along, stubly looking at your phone. You were ten minutes late, already.
As soon as he got you your coffee you were ready to leave.
"I'm I keeping you from somewhere?" He asked, worriedly,
"Yeah, I kinda have to get to class," You replied.
"Oh no, Im so sorry. Please go ahead," He said.
"Thanks, I'm Y/N, by the way," You said.
"I'm Shawn. Maybe I'll see you around?"
"Maybe," You smiled.
As you walked to class, taking little sips of you coffee you realized that he had put his number on the side of the coffee and you smiled.
Maybe you were gonna give him a call.
