My mom always told me "You can fall in love and a boy will come along and hurt you. Then next boy will come along and will tell you three word that will take away the hurt. And those three words will match his action and if they don't you can leave. Those three words are 'I Love You.'"
And she wasn't wrong about that. Sometimes I'd feel mad, sad, hurt, even hurt and no matter what Troy always says 'I Love You'. Sometimes I think my mom is a Gypsy or Psychic. Because she was right. Thomas did hurt me and Troy did fix me.
"Good Morning." Troy said opening the blinds.
"Really?" I said covering my head with the covers.
"Yes." He said as he pulled the cover from over my head. I pouted.
"You know we could just stay here and sleep." I said.
"I don't want to." He argued.
"Well, I don't want to leave the bed." I argued back.
"Come on please." He begged.
"Nooooo." I said and he kissed me.
"How about now?" He asked
"Maybe." I said and he kissed me again.
"What about now?" He asked.
"Almost." I said and he kissed me again and I deepened the kiss.
"Now?" He asked.
"Okay."
"Hey!" He said
"What?"
"What happened to my Good Morning?" He asked and I threw my a pillow at him. He laughed.
"Good Morning." I said as he cupped my face and kissed me.
"I Love You Emma." He said.
"I love you too Troy." I said as I stretched. Troy got in the shower. I looked and my leg. I wanted to get this cast off. Then I got an text from Theo.
From: Uncle Theo
To: Emma
Come in at 1:30 and we will get the cast off
I read that text like if someone told me I won the lottery. I was so happy. I get to walk again. I was so happy.
"What is it?" Troy asked walking toward me wearing only a towel.
"I get to go and get this cast off my leg."
"Aww. I like taking care of you." He pouted.
"You always do." I said as he hugged me.
"I know." He said
"Now go put some clothes on." I said.
"OK babe." He said.
I got up and used my crutches to get my clothes. And went it the bathroom to change my clothes.
"Are you ready too get this curse lifted off of you?" Troy asked.
"Yes sir." I said as I got in the car.
Later at the hospital...
"OK Emma, Are you ready?" Theo asked.
"Yep." I said as he got a pair of scissors and cut it off.
"And there." He said as he pulled off.
"Thanks." I said as Theo went out to throw it away.
"I Love You. " Troy said.
"I Love You too." I said as I put my head on his shoulder.
"Tired?" He asked
"Yeah."
"Come on. Let's go back to my house." He said
At Troy's House...
I laid down and Troy laid next to me. I put my head on his chest.
"I can't wait until we get married." He said
"Yeah. I'm gonna be more than your girlfriend and more than a fiancée."
"Yeah and I'm gonna be more than your boyfriend and more than your fiancé." He said as he played with my hair. I smiled and he kissed me and I kissed him back.
I know I'm completely healed from Tom. I don't even remember anything he used to do for me. I can't even remember the last time he said I Love You . SometimesI have to thank my mom.
