Narrator's pov

"Are you coming?" Autumn asked
"What?" Kate raised a brow
"If you want to take a car then that's fine by me but I'll be driving to the studio and I'm not asking again. So are you coming or not?" the raven hair girl rolled her eyes
"A simple, I'm driving do you want a ride? Would be better" Kate playfully glared
"Get in the damn car Kate" The actress glared as she pressed a button on the wall
Kate chuckled softly as she made her way up, walking towards the closed garage and awaited the grey door to lift
As the shadows turned to light, Kate's eyes adjusted to the car that was parked in the garage
A dark royal blue mustang on steroids with a thick gold line running up the center where the engine was exposed. The roof was down since it was a convertible. Autumn smirked as she splatted her body against the front of the car, as if she was hugging such a big machine
"Hey baby" Autumn smiled
Maybe it was the way Autumn was arched over the car or maybe it was the way her back was dented and her backside was exposed to the air that made Kate get lost in a trance so she hasn't realized what the raven hair girl was saying
"What?" Kate mumbled
"Not you, the car" Autumn glared
"Wha- I- I know that!" Kate quickly covered up, feeling the heat pass to her cheek. The raven hair girl simply rolled her eyes before turning her attention back towards the car
"I missed you so much girl" Autumn giggled
Kate raised a brow as she stared at the actress that was fawning over a vehicle
"You missed me? I know you did. Yes I know you did" Autumn said in a babyish voice
"Um. Are you and your car going to get a room or can we leave now?" The brunette questioned, Autumn snapped her neck around and gave the girl a glare
Kate smiled widely as she made her way over to the car, sliding into the passenger seat and watching Autumn slide herself into the drivers seat
Her fingers turned the key and the engine came to life, purring under her touch like a cat. A really. Big. Cat.
"Don't worry about her baby, she's just mad because she can't kiss my lips" Autumn said to the car earning a scoff from the brunette
"Your lips aren't that desirable so I don't know what you're talking about" Kate smirked as she glanced over to the raven hair girl
"Oh really?" Autumn asked
"Ye-" Kate was cut off by Autumn's hands balled into her shirt, pulling her body to hover over her seat
Kate's breath hitched in her throat and her eyes widened when her face was just an inch away from the actress, her hand was still knotted in her shirt as she pressed their chests together. Kate's heart pounded in their veins when the girl's lips barely grazed against her own
Autumn's blue eyes made her melt into the rough ocean waves crashing against a shore of lust
The smirk on her lips were only the icing on top to Kate's frustration. The tiny prick of their lips brushing against each other sent tingles along her entire body. Autumn's eyes glanced down to the girl's lips before turning to her coffee brown eyes
"You sure about that?" Autumn whispered
Kate's eyes slowly drifted close, as she felt every since inch of her body slowly set itself on fire, the deep feeling rolling in the pit of her stomach was increasing as she had no idea if she could handle it
"By the way" Autumn whispered above the girl's lips
Autumn allowed her cheek to brush against the brunette's, bringing to lips close to Kate's ear
"Mhm" Kate barley let out a soft sound
"You taste amazing" Autumn whispered and pulled away to face the girl before running her tongue over her bottom lip
Kate's entire face became beet red in the moment of blushing and frustration built into one. Autumn's slide slipped to the side as her eyes pierced into Kate's
A soft chuckle escaped the older girl's throat as she shook her head smiling
"I knew it" she chuckled before letting go of her grip on Kate's shirt
Autumn shoved the girl back into her seat, watching as her brown eyes slowly faded back to normal. Kate swallowed a lump in her throat when she realized she was coming back to reality and letting go of her trance. Reality then sunk into and the anger pushed through her body
"What the hell Autumn!" Kate hissed
"What?" the raven hair girl smirked as she pressed on the gas, driving out onto the road
"What was that!"
"That. Was proving a point" Autumn chuckled as she gripped the wheel tighter, pressing harder on the gas
"Well- Whatever" Kate mumbled and crossed her arms against her chest
"Gosh you're so cute" Autumn chuckled as she glanced in the girl's direction
That all so familiar blush found its way onto Kate's pale skin and turned her cheeks rose pink
"Oh my God, are you blushing?" Autumn squealed
"What! No!"
"You are" Autumn pouted
"No I'm not!"
"See. You're cute" Autumn giggled again
The feeling of those blue eyes piercing into the side of her head, the soft giggles of the actress and her being actually nice was enough to have Kate's heart fluttering over and over
It was nice to see Autumn being relax and comfortable rather than having a scowl on her face and ready to snap at people
It was a side of the girl she was starting to see more and she surely was enjoying it
But then again it was torture to her poor heart
"Oh for fuck sakes" Kate's groaned
"Relax, I'm just messing with you" Autumn chuckled as she leaned back into her seat, paying attention back to the room
Kate glanced in the girl's direction, her eyes running over Autumn's highpony with a few strands rounding her jaw. The girl's side profile was strikingly beautiful, her small but pointy nose compliment her pink lips from the side. The rays of the golden morning sun kissed the girl's blue eyes, making them seem even warmer than they were.
"Do you like the person you are?" Kate asked
"What?" Autumn furrowed her brows
"Well do you?"
"I... I'm not sure how to answer that"
"How come?"
"Because I don't know who I am right now" Autumn stated, her eyes glanced towards the brunette
Sometimes when we look at people we see their eyes, their small dimple that makes them look even more adorable, their shaggy or groomed hair. But we never see the pain they deal with.
We never see their history in their eyes or the challenges they're given on a daily
So when Kate heard those words, her heart was left struck by a deep pain in the center
"Hollywood sees me as the reckless girl that went wild after moving from kid shows to action films. They don't see me as a person, they see me as an image they want. They need someone to be bad, they need someone to gossip about and I just.. Happen to mess up once in my career and suddenly I'm the bad guy. I make one mistake when I was younger and since then, they've always lied and started false rumors. It's just.. Never been the same since then" Autumn mumbled
"I.. I had no idea" Kate whispered
"I was tossed around when production, people talked about me right in front of my face. Films fell short, everything started crashing back then but they never talked about the fact that I was a teenager who had no parents there, no friends, no room for affection. So she drank a bottle of vodka for the first time, so what? Autumn Hester turns to party girl with these latest images. Is she really going over thw edge? Then they started saying stuff like Autumn Hester, actress got drunk at her boyfriend's party and wrecks her 2.5million dollar car into paparazzi van" Autumn laughed
"Did that happen?"
"First off. I'm gay. What boyfriend were they even talking about? And secondly, I wasn't drunk. I had two shots and that was it. I didn't like the taste and eveyone in the party kept forcing me to take more. I got uncomfortable and decided to just head home. The paparazzi were all over my car, I asked them politely to move because I couldn't see the road. They were just circling around me even with the car moving. The next thing I knew, the roof of my car was scratching the side of their van. It was barley even a scratch. I swear, these people have no mercy" Autumn mumbled
At this point, Kate couldn't process anything in her mind much less feel anything. The fact that there were people so heartless, so dumb, so selfish to write anything they want about people or exaggerate the truth was furiating. But the fact that Kate believed all of those rumors back then was another thing
"I was 16 when that happened. And since then, I've been known as the bad girl of Hollywood. How cliché" Autumn chuckled
"Are you?" Kate asked
"Am I what?"
"Are you the bad girl?" Kate questioned, Autumn's feet raised from the gas and the car seemed to move slower
Her brows furrowed as her grip on the steering wheel because more loose. There was obviously something swirling around in the girl's mind
"Maybe I am" Autumn said
"Why would you say that?" Kate asked as she noticed they were at the gate of the studio
"My reckless behavior speakers for itself doesn't it?" Autumn chuckled
"Autum-"
"I mean, think about it. I just gave into their calls. I became the person they wanted me to be. I've done alot of bad shit Kate. Don't think I'm innocent because they're the ones that started it" Autumn said as she glanced over to the girl
"They made the rumors and I became the devil as they requested" She said
Autumn pulled the car into the parking lot of the studio, seeing as there were no one else around
"Don't say that" Kate mumbled
"Why not?" Autumn asked as she took off the engine
"Because you're not the fucking devil Autumn" Kate glared
"That's what they think I am-"
"They think you're a cold hearted bitch who likes to drink and smoke for a personality. But you're not" Kate whispered, leaning over to Autumn's side of the seat
The raven hair girl raised a brow when she noticed Kate leaning forward, her brown eyes meeting hers. There was something different about the coffee colour, as if a small pitch of creamy milk was added to her brown orbs.
"And how would you know that" Autumn whispered, the brunette chuckled softly as she brought her hands up to cup the girl's chin
Kate's thumbs brushed against the girl's toned cheek, barley grazing against her skin as her face hovered close to the girl's. Autumn swallowed a lump in her throat but stayed silent
"Because, You're actually sweeter than you think. You've buried yourself under your pain and slowly gave into what you think you should be. People have always been navigating your next move and telling you exactly where to sit. I get it, you wanted to escape so you started to act out after everything went south. But that doesn't mean you're the devil, it means you're a human being with emotions. But this time you have pressure and the eyes of millions on your back. You're not the devil Autumn, you just got caught in a crossfire and forgot who you were in the first place" Kate whispered
"And who am I?" she asked, her eyes observing every single flicker of Kate's eyes.
The brunette chuckled softly as she placed her lips on Autumn's cheek. A warm glow spread across the girl's face as she felt the familiar pillow soft kiss of the brunette.
It was a simple gesture but it was Autumn's first. Her first time being kissed on her cheek.
A small smile etched across her face as she felt the blood brush to her face
"That's something you'll have to figure out for yourself Autumn. But I'll be here, and I'm not going anywhere"
