We continued flying on Appa with Aang panicking because Roku told him that he had to learn all four element by summer. I felt bad because for a 12 year old he shouldn't be this stressed.
I couldn't keep sulking over my lost necklace, Aang has helped me and I trusted him more. I needed to help in the best way I could, the only way I could. It was limited but it was almost like a head start to his waterbending training.

"All right, kiddos." I stood up finally deciding to take charge. "Katara, I know you're still mad about me waterbending and how I kept it hidden from you and I'm sorry. I had my reasons and I hope one day you can forgive me. But right now this isn't about us and our sibling rivalry or whatever. I can teach both you and Aang what I know or at least just Aang."

"Yeah! That would be great, Kaida!" Aang said with a giant smile and I looked at Katara.

She looked away from me, clearly annoyed but I took a seat next to her and nudged her.
"You know this is a once in a life time opportunity." I spoke. "Your older sister being your waterbending teacher. Not to pat my own back but I think I'm pretty great."

She glanced at me, she chuckled and a smile overtook her lips. "Fine, but first we need a good source of water."

"Maybe we can find a good puddle that you guys can splash in." Sokka said, we landed at a water fall. The three of us smiling while Sokka looked annoyed. "Nice puddle."

"Thanks for the idea, Sokka!" I said sarcastically.

Appa flew in splashing water on Momo. Aang stripped down to only his trunks and was ready to join the flying bison but Katara told him to remember why we were here. He got dressed again.

"So what am I supposed to do?" Sokka asked.

"You can clean the gunk out of Appa's toes." Aang handed him a branch with leaves.

"So while you three are playing in the water? I'm supposed to be hard at work picking mud out of a giant bison's feet?" Sokka asked.

"Mud and bugs!" Aang smiled.

"He does fly us everywhere we go without a single complaint." I smiled and he agreed to do it because he had no real choice.
"All right, let's start with a simple, easy, and basic move." I started pushing and pulling my hands. The water was shaking but I tried to ignore my annoyance. "Just push and pull like this. The key is to get the wrist movement just right."
They looked at the water then at me as if I was an idiot. I sighed and tucked my hair behind my ear. "Uh... which I apparently don't have... M-Maybe I'm not the best teacher but I could try." I frowned down at the water and looked at my broken wrist.

What did I do to deserve this?

"I already know this one, it took me months to get right." Katara said and started doing the same and she created a small wall of water.

"Great Katara, you can be the demonstrator." I said and she agreed.

"Come on, Aang." Katara said.

"Like this?" Aang asked as he started doing the motions.

"Yeah!" I nodded at how quickly he got that, his technique was perfect.

"Katara! Look I'm bending it already!" Aang proudly called.

"Wow, I can't believe you got that so quickly." Katara said. "It took me two months to learn that move."

"Well, you had to learn alone." Aang said. "I have a great demonstrator to show me and a great teacher!"

Aw it's so cute I could throw up. I pat Katara's shoulder. "Everyone moves at their own pace." I told her.

"How long did it take you, Kaida?" She asked and I nervously chuckled.

"That's not important, let's move onto a different move!" I looked at Aang.

"What's next?" He asked as he wanted to get past the awkwardness.

"Streaming the water. That's part one of the next move."

I explained how to do it and they both got it, Katara already knew this one too but she told Aang that it was harder and to not be discouraged but he got it as easily as she did.
Katara then talked about a new move she was trying to learn and she showed us. It was to create a big powerful wave only hers came out small.

"Soo... like this?" Aang asked and did it, splashing Sokka and Appa.

I did it to but on the other side of the little rivers and only with my good hand but even then it came out just as big as Aang's. I smiled my blood running with adrenaline and excitement, I looked back at Katara and Aang. "Did you see?!"

"Yeah! That was so cool!" Aang and I high fived then looked at Katara. "Katara?"

"That's enough practicing for today." Katara said.

"Katara—"

"I said it's enough for today, we should let Aang rest." She told me.

I turned back around still going off of the excitement I felt for getting it the first time. I tried to do it again but this time it didn't do what I wanted, it made the wave, getting bigger and bigger. Suddenly it started to freeze taking in a new shape it was more in the shape of a snake and it was slowly turning to ice starting from the bottom.

"Kaida!" It shattered making the ice shatter everywhere so I made a wall of ice to protect us then I glared at Katara for breaking my concentration.

"What?" I asked and put the water back in the river.

"Y-Your eyes.." She said and I looked at Aang and Sokka who looked as confused as I was. "You know what? It was probably just the light."

I shrugged it off. "I guess we should take a break from practicing."

"Yeah, you practiced all our supplies down the river!" Sokka complained.

"Sorry." Aang apologized. "I'm sure we can find a place to replace all this stuff."

"My life was hard enough when you were just an airbender." Sokka sank in the river.

We walked into the closest village, it was mostly just a market street but  Sokka began to buy supplies, Aang spent a copper coin on a bison whistle that didn't even work. Katara told Aang to give her the money since he was being irresponsible with it and so he gave it to her.
A pirate stopped Aang by offering curios, Aang said yes to it but didn't even know what they were and neither did the pirate.

"If he doesn't know maybe we shouldn't." I said but the pirate pulled him in so we followed them onto the ship to see weird things.

Another pirate with a bird on his shoulder wanted to barter for Momo but of course Aang said no.

"Look at this Aang, Kaida!" I walked over to Katara and we looked over her shoulder. "It's a waterbending scroll. Check out these crazy moves."

"Where did you get a waterbending scroll?" Aang asked the guy basically told us he stole it from the North Pole.
His exact words were, Let's just say I got it up north at an upmost reasonable price, free.

Sokka made connections and said they were pirates or High risk traders. I facepalmed, sometimes I wonder if these people actually pay attention. I rolled my eyes and I continued to look around, a disturbing monkey caught my eyes, it was actually quite tacky. I rolled my eyes at the fool who would buy that.
I heard Katara ask how much for the scroll but it already had a buyer. That didn't stop Aang from trying to haggle. I chuckled at it and walked around looking at the other things that the pirates had stolen, when nothing looked interesting I walked over to Sokka who was looking at boomerangs.
Soon Katara begged us to leave so we did and no one really argued.

"What was that all about, Katara?" Aang asked at the sudden rush.

"Yeah? I was just starting to browse around their boomerang collection." Sokka added.

"Really?" I asked. "Sokka, you wouldn't be able to afford anything in there. I mean 200 gold pieces for a waterbending scroll? Pfft, it's stolen."

"I'll just feel a lot better when we get away from here." Katara hugged herself and I glanced at her suspiciously.

"Hey you! Get back here!" We turned to the pirates who clearly looked angry.

"Well, well, look who's come to their sense, told you the haggling would pay off." Aang smiled.

I noticed Katara stepping back, more pirates came out and they came towards us. "I don't think these pirates are here to trade with us." She said and we started running as they chased us.

This is part of the editing, Some chapters will be broken down so they are episodes in their own chapter, if that makes sense. So that's why it has less views and likes then the chapter after and before it.
This is will/is not the only chapter like this.
