Marcus's POV
I run out of my classroom and into the hallway, as far from Rose as I can get. I don't know what's happening to me I can't control metal? What happened back there?
I go to the parking lot, not bothering to go to the office. They'll figure out I'm gone and send a substitute to teach my class. I need to leave and figure out what's going on with me, I almost go find Jade seeing as she's a which. I can't believe I didn't notice it when I first met her but then again I was meeting my mate for the first time so I wasn't exactly focused on other supernatural creatures in my classroom. I decide against it seeing as I don't really know her to well, even though I can tell she doesn't deal in black magic I'll just stick with Caden. I send a quick text telling him to meet me at my house immediately, he repays soon after telling me he would be there in two minutes.
I speed down the road to my house needing to know what the hell is happening with my abilities. When I arrive Caden is already there, I'm guessing he ran here because his car is no where in sight.
"What's up?" He asks coming over to me once I get out of my car and head up to the house.
"Something's wrong" I tell him confused as hell
"What happened?" He asks when we get into my living room he sits on the couch while I pace the room. I tell him everything from going in to classroom to the point where I bent all the chair legs in the classroom. He sits there a moment probably trying to figure out the same thing I am.
"And your saying she got turned on?" he asks, I don't like him saying that about my mate but since it was true I nod stiffly
"Yes I could tell when I smelled the air, her scent was amplified 100%" I tell him, pacing the floor
"Ok I think I know what's going on" he said nodding his head
"Ok what?!" I rush out
"I think your abilities are expanding, I noticed it when you first walked in here, I could feel more power rolling off of you and I could feel that your abilities had progressed. Since you met your mate maybe it kind of enhanced them, and maybe when she was... tuned on it spiked them up like it was a sign of her feeling the pull too, causing you to bend the chairs and break your coffee cup." he says staring up at me with his light eyebrows pulled together tightly
"That's what it looks like" I say "thank you Caden I'm going to head back to school" when I finish my sentence he actually stats to laugh at me "what?"
"There is no way in hell you're going near her until you have these abilities partially under control" he says placing his arm around my shoulder
"Shit your right" I realize, if I hurt her because I didn't know how to control this new ability I could never forgive myself.

For an entire week me and Caden learned the extent of my new found ability. I had to train my mind to only move metal at my command, not just when me or her was turned on. Saying it was painful being away from her for so long was an understatement, it was more like hell. I couldn't stand it, by the end of the week I had to see her. I had to be with her, the pull was getting stronger and without her being near me made it ten times worse.
Through the week I had to imagine her turned on, or her feeling any other strong emotion to make sure no metal moved around during me thinking about it. I was surprised it only took a week for me to get it under control. Caden thought that was also something that came with me meeting my mate, was better control, thank god, because I couldn't last one more day without her. I missed seeing her cheeks heat up whenever I talked to her, I missed her beautiful green and blue eyes, I missed her soft skin and plum lips.
Caden left that Sunday night after we went out to hunt he told me I needed to be completely full. I fed from two people, which did indeed fill me up, not killing either of them of course just taking enough to hold me over. If I wasn't full when I was around her for the first time again in the last week, I would probably want to mate her on the spot. When he left he told me to be careful, I appreciated how much he cared and how much he helped me. We said goodnight to one another and I went inside for some needed rest. I have tried to get into her dreams all this week but by the end of the day I am to exhausted and weak to get in, but thankfully I'll be able to see her tomorrow.
Rose's POV
It's been a week since the incident and he has yet to return. Each day that goes by without him hurts a little more for unknown reasons.
When I get to school on Monday morning Jade, Amber, and Luke are standing in our usual meeting spot.
"Good morning sunshine" Jade says jokingly
"Hi" I say without a hint of happiness in my voice
"Who shoved a stick up your ass this morning?" Jade say with sarcasm laced all throughout her voice
"Shush I'm just tired" I tell her which is half true, I am tired but I also miss a certain person...agh what's wrong with me
"Come on we all know what's really wrong" Amber says
"And what is that miss smarty pants" I say crossing my arms
"You miss Mr.Williams" she says both her and Luke looking at me with a grin
"You told them!" I whisper yell to Jade
She shrugs and says "they wanted to know what was wrong, you acted all depressed last week, they were worried so yes I told them." She nods her head
"I'm so happy for you Rose!" Amber says hugging me tight
"Why would you be happy for me when I'm practically wanting to break the law" I speak quietly, feeling angry at myself after saying it out loud
"Don't worry Rose we know how you feel, I couldn't imagine going a week without Amber" Luke says looking at Amber with loving eyes.
"Um...yeah" I say, he just nods, looking down at Amber holding her in his arm, hugging her tightly, man do I envy them right now. I sigh wishing I could be held like that. The bell rings telling every one to get to class.
"Rose come on lets go to first" Jade says. We tell Amber and Luke goodbye and begin to walk to math class. The hallways are filled with student hurrying to get to class, bumping into others rudely.
When we're half way there Jade abruptly stops "crap! I need to go to my locker, I'll meet you in there" she says
"You have one minute before the bell rings!" I tell her in disbelief
"I'll hurry" she says, not waiting for my response she starts walking in the opposite direction. I'll just go to mine after first period I rather not be late like Jade, I let out a sigh and start walking alone to class.
But before I could reach my classroom I am pulled forcefully in the janitors closet causing me to scream, not that anyone heard me over all the other students chatter. A hand is placed over my mouth to stop my scream, it's pitch black in the closet and I frail in the persons arms. Who the hell dragged me in here?
"Rose stop its just me" a smooth husky voice rings in my ears, I stop my struggle once I realize who it is. A moment later my thoughts were confirmed when he switched on the light.
Suddenly I am pulled into his arms roughly, I don't pull back, I'm a little shaken but I couldn't resist hugging him back. I know this is wrong, so wrong. I should pull back now and demand him to explain what he's playing at and what he wants from me. But I don't, I stand still allowing myself a moment to revile in his warmth and tight grasp...knowing this is what I've wanted all week.
His face goes to the crock of my neck and he takes a deep breath, his lips graze my neck lightly making that spot on my skin feel like tingling fire. When he exhales his warm breath spreads across my exposed shoulder from the shirt I'm wearing making me sigh, it feels so good to be held by him I feel like it's the safest place in the world, no one can hurt me when I'm with him not my dad, not anyone.
"I've missed you my sweet Rose" he says still not coming up from his previous spot on my neck.
I pull back away from the warmth of his arms, immediately regretting it and missing his touch but I have to focus.
"Where were you last week? Where did you go after....after whatever the hell happened in your classroom?" I ask flustered
"I...I um needed to get away" he says rubbing the back of his neck unsure of his answer.
"Ok....what happened?" I back up against the wooden door, being near him I can smell his cologne and it messes with my brain
"I don't know..didn't you say something about a earthquake-?" he says almost in a question like tone.
"No ones else seemed to feel it" I say crossing my arms not believing him for a minute. Just before he answers the bell rings, really? I was planing on not being late, I huff out of anger.
"Don't worry about being late I'll write you a pass" he ensures me, I nod and let out a sigh of relief.
"Ok but you still haven't explained, if you weren't going to tell me what happened last week why did you have to drag me in here?" I ask
He sighs and rubs the back of his neck "I had to see you" he says quietly and I let out a small gasp, why? did he- "come on" he says grabbing my hand and walks out of the closet, but once we're in the hallway he drops my hand and it falls limp by my side.
We walk to his classroom, his first period student already in there talking loudly and throwing papers around. Mr.Williams doesn't even look over at them or tell them to be quiet, he just leads me straight to his desk and starts writing me my pass.
"Mr. Williams you're back! We missed you so much!" I hear a girl say
I look down at Mr.Williams and he smiles charmingly over at the group of girls who are swooning at him. I pout and roll my eyes.
He hands the slip of paper to me and says in a husky voice "see you in third period Rose" the way he says my name will never get old. I nod not trusting my voice and walk to the door, heading to math.
When I walk in to Mrs.Jacksons class, her tall thin figure is standing at the front of the class pointing to the board, her short light brown hair in a clip on her head.
"Mrs.Jackson?"
"Yes?" She ask turning to me "ah you're late do you have a pass?"
"Yes ma'am" I say and hand her the slip of paper, she nods and starts teaching, putting the pass in her pocket. I walk to my seat, Jades staring at me with a questionable look, she sits three seats back and one over from me. I put up my finger letting her know I'll tell her after class.
Math drags on, Mrs.Jackson blabbering about he sons wedding the whole time leaving five minutes left of class for teaching our lesson. No one ever listens when she starts talking about her family we all just kind of zone out. She teaches the lesson super fast, all of us looking at her like she has five head because we have no idea what the hell she is saying. Thankfully before she can assign homework the bell rings and she tells us she will finish up the lesson tomorrow and give us our homework then, all the student in unison let out a sigh of relief.
When I'm putting all my things in my bag Jade comes up behind me and asks "where were you at the beginning of class?"
I gasp "what?! THE Jade doesn't know something that I know, well isn't this a miracle" I say smirking
"Shut up and tell me!" She demands, her black hair falling over her shoulders as she leans on my desk, she stares me down with her blue brown eyes until I crack
I laugh at her enthusiasm "fine I was in a janitors closet"
"Ugh fine then don't tell me" she huffs crossing her arms over her chest, I laugh at her again.
"No I'm serious! I was.... I was with Mr.Williams" I say looking down at my shoes
"Oh my god! He's back? What did you guys do in there?" she says with her perverted grin
"Nothing... but he hugged me" I blush even though I wish it didn't effect me
"That's it? After a whole week? Well I'll tell you one thing that man has control" She says
"I don't know what's going on between us. He drags me in a janitor closets and holds me in his arms for at least a minute. He's my teacher...I can't just be imagining the things he's doing" I rant
"Give him a chance, sure he's your teacher but I can tell you guys will have a future together and it won't matter then." she says trying to cheer me up.
"You and you intuition" I say and we both chuckle
"I'll see you in third" she says, we wave goodbye and go our separate ways to second period.
Chemistry as usual was boring, we had to do a lab today and some kid almost blew up the classroom because he grabbed the wrong liquid out of our teachers closet so that made it a little exiting. By the end of class I'm itching to see Mr.Williams, seeing him for five minutes this morning was not enough.
