Hi, just a little disclosure, I'm doing a little editing here and there so that the new chapters (coming soon) and old chapters flow better together, not a lot is changing, mostly just the writing style and adding a little bit more personality to Mikhail. Also to fix 2019 me's grammar... Enjoy :)

Quirk: Golden Phoenix - allows him to transform into the three stages of the phoenix and also use fire. The quirk naturally raises the body temperature higher than is should be and when using it, it gets higher than it currently is, so it makes the user really hot. The flames are a golden colour and only burn people the user wants it to burn. They tend to just feel cold to the touch if they're not burning you. When Mikhail uses his quirk, his hair turns completely white.
Weaknesses: Golden Phoenix - if the body temperature lowers to a normal human body temperature it'll feel like you've put the user in a freezer for half an hour. The flames won't burn the user unless they become mentally unstable, or they don't have enough energy to control them. The user has to be sure who they want the flames to affect and who not to, if they're unsure then the flames will just attack anyone and everyone. Transforming into the third stage of the phoenix and out puts a lot of strain on the users body. If the user overuses their quirk, their body will begin to char and crumble so they'll need to cool down.

Extra info: after living in America for six years, Mikhail becomes bored of being around his mother and stepfamily and returns to his home in Japan where he begins his hero training. After his quirk awakened, his usually black hair was turned black with white ends that then spread up and turn his hair completely white when he's using his quirk.

What his quirk can do:
¬ first stage phoenix - this stage envelopes Mikhail in a flurry of fire that surrounded his whole body and rages. It basically looks like he's on fire, but he isn't because his flames don't hurt him. He can control only fire in this form.
¬ second stage phoenix - this stage makes it, so he has the wings of the phoenix on his back as well as three random feathers standing up from the middle of his hair line. He's more alert and can fly and control fire.
¬ third stage phoenix - a full transformation into a phoenix, the user will be able to fly, use fire and wind manipulation, however, when transforming into this it puts great strain on the body and when transforming back, the user may find themselves either temporarily blind, deaf, or too weak to even walk alone.
¬ golden fire - the user is able to manipulate fire that's a golden colour rather than the normal red. It can be cold or warm to the touch depending on whether the user finds the other person a threat or not
¬ tears of healing - the users is able to us his tears to heal any kind of wound, whether small cuts and bruises but cannot affect any fatal or life-threatening injuries. But it can only have the effect of healing if the user wills his tears to heal. They can't heal themselves though (life isn't that easy). And they cannot grow back any lost or missing limbs or organs.
¬ explosive ash - rather than the user being able to have the phoenixes rebirth from the ashes, they can instead use the ashes that their fire produces as an explosive dust that can either explode when it touches someone or something or on command with the click of either the users fingers or tongue.
¬ combustion - can make anyone/anything suddenly just explode in a flurry of extremely heated flames. These flames can only be extinguished by the user.
¬ absorption - the user is able to absorb any flame that isn't their own and regain fire power and energy for battles - extremely useful when they're totally wiped out.

Ima say right now, the body temperature dramatically increases while using the quirk so you can imagine that Mikhail wont want a crap ton of layers if he can possibly make it so.
