I know I said part 3 was the last part but I couldn't help it. This series might not ever end 🤡
-
It had been approximately ten years after Y/n and O/c got married. Life was great, for them at least. In an attempt to get over Y/n, C/n met someone else. Her/his name was R/c. At first, C/n didn't really feel anything for R/c. Well, maybe he liked her/him, but not in a romantic way.
Over time however, C/n developed real feelings. He felt happy for the first time in years. Of course, that happiness couldn't really compare to how happy he would've felt if he'd been with Y/n.
Eventually, C/n proposed to R/c who said yes and they both ended up getting married. Maybe things were really starting to look up. The couple even had/adopted a little girl by the name of Nel [If you know the reference, have a cookie 🍪]. Said little girl had hair color similar to C/n's and hazel eyes.
Much like C/n, Y/n and O/c had/adopted two kids. A little girl named Kikyo [if you get the reference, i ask you to marry me 👁👁] who had brown eyes and hair color similar to Y/n's. The second child, a little boy named Byakuya [togami? kuchiki? or that one bitch from inuyasha?], had eye color similar to O/c's and black hair.
Both C/n and Y/n were prefectly content with their current lives and families. Unfortunately, it seemed like life hated C/n after certain events.
____
Y/n was waiting outside of Kikyo's school, waiting for the little girl to come out.
"When's Kikyo-san gonna come out? I'm hungry..." Byakuya asked, looking up at Y/n who held his hand.
Y/n smiled softly, looking down at their son.
"I'm sure she'll be out in a bit." They said.
Finally, little Kikyo walked out, backpack in hand.
"Hey, kid. How was school?" Y/n asked, walking up to their daughter.
Kikyo didn't say anything and walked past Y/n.
"Hey, Kikyo," Y/n called her, putting their hand on the little girl's shoulder.
"What's wrong?"
Said female only looked up at Y/n, tears on her face.
Y/n became alarmed, not sure of what happened to make their daughter cry.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong? What happened?" Y/n asked, crouching down to meet Kikyo's level.
"Just some kid at school.....broke my project," Kikyo sniffed, looking at the ground.
"And I worked really hard on it..." Tears slipped down the girl's cheeks.
Y/n's eyes softened at their daughter's vulnerable state. They pulled Kikyo into a warm, comforting hug, stroking the little girl's hair.
Meanwhile, Byakuya stood there, watching his older sister and parent hug one another.
"I hope Dad made something good." He thought, stomach slightly rumbling.
"Did you tell your teacher?" Y/n asked once they pulled away from the hug.
Kikyo shook her head.
"No, she went somewhere else." The girl said.
Y/n nodded and stood up.
"Why don't we go find her?" They asked.
Kikyo nodded.
"But I'm hungry." Byakuya pouted.
Y/n sighed, reaching for their jeans pocket.
"Here. We'll get home soon, okay?" They said, giving their son a candy bar.
Byakuya nodded, beginning to unwrap the candy bar.
With Kikyo on one side and Byakuya on the other, Y/n walked into the school.
"I'm looking for Ms. Scarlet [👀]." Y/n said.
"Do you have a scheduled meeting?" The lady at the front desk asked.
"No but this is important." Y/n said, slight hostility from their tone slightly evident.
The lady sighed.
"I'm afraid you cannot see her then." She pushed her glasses up.
At this, Y/n grew irritated.
"Listen, if this school cares about its students, then I suggest you allow me see her. There's something I must report which concerns my child, Ms. Scarlet, and I." Y/n said.
The lady herself grew irritated at Y/n's stubbornness.
"Unfortunately, I cannot allow you to do so since you do not have a meeting."
Y/n took a deep breath, trying to keep themselves from doing something reckless.
"Well, then I guess you'll have one less student by tomorrow." Y/n smiled.
The lady sighed.
"Fine, you may see her. She's in class 322." She said and resumed what she was doing before being interrupted.
"Thank you." Y/n smiled.
They walked to an elevator, their kids behind them. Finally, they arrived to the third floor and began to search for class 322. Y/n knocked, a faint "come in" being heard right after.
"Oh, hello L/n / O/l-san." Ms. Scarlet looked up from her desk full of papers.
"Hello, Ms. Scarlet," Y/n stood in front of the scarlet haired teacher.
"I came here to bring something important to your attention." Y/n said, making eye contact with Kikyo's teacher.
Ms. Scarlet raised a brow.
"What is it?" She asked.
"My daughter here told me a classmate of hers ruined her project, were you aware of this?" Y/n said, maintaining eye contact.
Ms. Scarlet's eyes widened.
"Not at all," She looked at Kikyo who stood next to Y/n.
"Kikyo, tell me, who did it?"
Kikyo jumped a little, being caught off guard by her teacher.
"Um...I think her name was...Nel?" [the real nel would never do that but this is for plot purposes TvT]
Ms. Scarlet nodded, making a mental note.
"Do you mind if I call Nel's parents so we can sort this out?" Ms. Scarlet looked at Y/n.
"Not at all." Y/n said, taking a seat nearby.
"Hello? Are these Nel's parents? Okay, well, it has come to my attention that your daughter ruined another student's project? Yeah, I wanted you to come in so we can talk. Mhm, the student's parent is here. Yeah, alright, see you soon."
Kikyo had her backpack on her lap as she looked at the classroom. Byakuya, having finished his candy bar, layed his head on his sister's shoulder.
Finally, the classroom door opened and in walked Nel and her father, C/n. Y/n's eyes widened seeing their roommate after many years. C/n's eyes also widened, seeing Y/n with children and not to mention seeming to have matured as well.
His cheeks became the host of a very noticeable blush as he looked at all of Y/n's features, coming to the conclusion that he missed them.
"Dad..." Nel's voice pulled C/n out of his thoughts.
He sighed.
"Alright, please take a seat." Ms. Scarlet said.
C/n and his daughter took a seat as Ms. Scarlet requested.
"So, Nel," Ms. Scarlet began.
"Did you ruin Kikyo's project on purpose?" She asked.
"Of course not! It was an accident!" Nel shrieked.
"How come you didn't apologize...?" Kikyo mumbled, looking at the ground.
"I...I was scared..." Nel said.
Ms. Scarlet sighed.
"How about you apologize now?" Y/n suggested.
Nel looked at them and nodded. She stood up from her chair and walked to Kikyo.
"Hey," She said, taking Kikyo's hand in her own.
"I'm sorry. I didn't want to ruin your project, do you...forgive me?" Nel asked nervously.
Kikyo looked up at her classmate and gave her a small smile.
"Yeah." Nel smiled at Kikyo's response.
"Alright, well now that we've solved this, I give Kikyo an extra month to redo her project." Ms. Scarlet said.
Y/n nodded and stood up.
"Thank you, Ms. Scarlet," They smiled.
"We'll be leaving now." They finished.
Ms. Scarlet nodded.
"Have a good rest of the day." She said to everyone in the room.
Y/n exited the classroom along with Byakuya and Kikyo.
They all walked to the exit of the school until Y/n was stopped by a hand on their shoulder.
"Hey." Y/n turned around to see C/n.
"Oh, hey, C/n." They smiled.
"Hey, it's been a while." C/n smiled.
"It has. How are you doing nowadays?" Y/n asked.
The duo talked for a bit. Kikyo and her brother watched the two adults catch up, feeling a little awkward being there. The same goes for Nel who stood next to her father.
"Well, I've gotta go now, I'll talk with you later." Y/n smiled.
C/n nodded and waved goodbye to his former roommate.
"How do you know him?" Kikyo asked her parent.
"We used to be roommates." Y/n replied.
"Cool." Kikyo looked back at the ground.
"What do you think Dad made for dinner?" Byakuya asked his sister.
Kikyo merely shrugged, not really sure.
Y/n took out their keys once they arrived home and unlocked the front door.
"Alright, go in." They said and held the door open for their children.
Byakuya ran inside while Kikyo walked calmly.
"Dad!" Byakuya jumped onto O/c who was walking to the front door to receive his family.
"Hey there, kid." O/c smiled.
"Hey, Dad." Kikyo greeted her father as she took her backpack and put away her backpack.
"How was school?" O/c asked.
"It was...alright..." Kikyo responded.
"C/n's daughter accidentally ruined her project." Y/n informed their husband.
"Wait...C/n?" O/c looked at Y/n.
Y/n nodded.
"I didn't think I'd hear his name again," O/c sighed.
"Much less hear C/n and daughter in the same sentence." He finished.
Y/n snickered.
"I guess it was bound to happen eventually. Poor guy went through...quite a bit." Y/n looked at the floor.
O/c walked up his partner and put a finger on their chin, making them look up at him.
"Do you still love him?"
Y/n choked. They coughed and coughed, trying to regain their breath.
"Now," They grabbed and squeezed O/c's cheeks with one hand.
"Why would you ask that? Why would I marry you if I still loved him?" Y/n looked sternly at their husband.
O/c shrugged.
"Jeez, you're gonna give me a heart attack." Y/n sighed, taking their hand away from O/c's face.
O/c's attention was pulled away from Y/n when he felt a tug on his shirt. It was Byakuya.
"I'm hungry."
The family ate happily. Nothing was wrong or would go wrong. The same could not be said for C/n and his family, though.
"When's Mama/Papa gonna come home?" Nel asked her dad.
C/n sighed.
"She'll/He'll get here soon." He said.
Or so, that's what he thought.
C/n got a call later that day.
"Hello?"
"Hello? Are you the husband of R/c?"
C/n's breath hitched, horrible scenarios beginning to surround his mind.
"Yes, is there something wrong?" C/n asked.
"Well, there's no easy way to say this but...your wife/husband was found dead. It seems like she/he was run over by a car."
C/n's whole world paused. Tears welled up in his eyes and sadness clouded his mind and heart.
The worst part of this all included telling Nel that her mama/papa was dead. That, followed by dealing with the death.
C/n proceeded to plan the funeral for his deceased wife/husband. Of course, nothing would be the same ever again.
Not even if he got with Y/n.
[A/n: should i continue....?]
