Chris's POV
Chris: Well?
Wyatt looked at his phone then back up at the demon across the gym.
Wyatt: 9:00. It's been fifteen minutes and he's still here.
Chris: Should we ...?
I motioned toward the demon and Wyatt nodded.
Wyatt: Yeah. The sooner we get this over with, the sooner I can get back to dancing with Samantha.
Wyatt smiled.
Wyatt: Hey! I can dance with my Sam and you can dance with your Sam.
I rolled my eyes and smiled.
Chris: Let's just go. Oh, by the way, I have a lot to say about your so called "dancing skills."
Wyatt chuckled before we headed over to the demon on the other side of the gym. He noticed us and smiled.
Dezen: Halliwell's, my name is Dezen. I'm a newly recruited demon of fear, in case you were wondering.
He sounded like the average man. Nothing could have given him away, except for his odd clothing choice of an all black suit and shawl.
Dezen: And I've been sensing fear in this exact location. I've just been waiting for you to make the first move.
Wyatt: Who's fear brought you here?
Dezen smiled and nodded in my direction. Wyatt turned to look at me.
Wyatt: Chris? He's fine, right Chris?
I nodded as Dezen chuckled then waved his hand in front of my face.
Dezen: Well, that's a lot of fear to be "fine."
Chris: Look, everyone here has fears. It's what makes us human.
Dezen shook his head.
Dezen: But you're not human, are you? You're a witch, with a very witch fear.
Wyatt sighed then whispered beside me even though it was barely audible over the loud music.
Wyatt: Chris, move on.
I was about to answer before I was suddenly in the underworld, caged with demons all around me. I started shouting.
Chris: Hey! No! Not again. Help! Wyatt!
Wyatt's POV
Chris was shouting and looking around, not moving from his spot.
Wyatt: Chris! I'm right here!
Chris: Help! Uh ... Stop!
Wyatt: Chris!
I looked at Dezen who was focused on Chris.
Wyatt: Stop it!
Dezen: Can't. I'm a demon of fear, remember?
I watched as Chris started giving more and more in to his fear.
Chris: Wyatt!
Wyatt: Chris! Can you hear me!? It's all fake!
Nothing helped. Chris kept looking around him and tripping over his own feet. He covered his head and shouted.
Piper's POV
Leo: What a movie. One of my all time favorites.
I smiled.
Piper: I know, that's why I chose it.
I grabbed a piece of popcorn from the bowl and held it up for Leo to eat. He ate the piece of popcorn and smiled at me.
Piper: We're cute.
Leo smiled and nodded.
Piper: Another movie?
Leo: Sure.
I got up to put in the second movie I chose.
Leo: What time does the dance end?
Piper: 10:00.
I looked at the clock on the wall.
Piper: They have about an hour left.
Leo nodded as Melinda walked by the living room heading toward the front door with Prudence and Jaxon in tow. I put in the movie and sat back down on the couch beside Leo. I heard the kids talking by the door.
Melinda: See you guys on Monday.
Prudence: Don't forget to study for the test.
Jaxon: No worries. Science is my favorite class. I got this.
Melinda: Well, science isn't my forte so I'll be studying extra hard.
Prudence: Bye, Mel.
Prudence shouted from the door.
Prudence: Bye, Aunt Piper! Bye, Uncle Leo!
Piper: Bye, sweetie. Tell your mom "hi" for me.
Leo: Bye!
Prudence and Jaxon left the house. Melinda came into the living room.
Leo: Are they walking home?
Melinda nodded.
Melinda: Well, Prudence just lives a few houses down, and Aunt Phoebe knows she's coming. And Jaxon lives a block away. He said his dad trusts him so ...
Piper: But what about everyone else? We can't trust them.
Melinda rolled her eyes.
Melinda: He'll be fine. He texted his dad.
I nodded.
Leo: What test do you have on Monday? You never mentioned a test.
Melinda: That's because it's not a big deal. It's just the elements 1-20. Nothing I can't handle.
Melinda smiled and turned to leave.
Melinda: But just in case, I'm gonna go study.
She left the room. Leo chuckled as I smiled.
Leo: I don't think I studied the elements in school.
Piper: Really?
Leo: Well, it has been over 80 years, but I'm pretty sure.
I smiled, then something hit me. Elements?
Piper: Elements?
Leo looked at me confused.
Leo: What about them?
Piper: No, elements, like fire, water, earth, and air.
Leo nodded.
Leo: Those are elements, yeah.
I looked at him. A few seconds later his face lit up with realization.
Leo: Oh!
I nodded.
Piper: That's what's going on. Someone's messing with the elements.
Leo: Now the question is, who?
Piper: Let's go.
I stood up from the couch as Leo watched me.
Leo: Where are we going?
Piper: To the attic. We have to read up on the elements and their magical properties.
Leo sighed.
Leo: But the movie-
Piper: Will be here when we're done researching. Let's go.
I left the room, hearing Leo grumble on my way out.
Wyatt's POV
Chris was still shouting. Luckily the music was loud enough to hide it from most of the students; however, he did attract some on lookers. Sam and Jason walked up to me.
Wyatt: Chris! Come on! Snap out of it!
Sam looked at Chris, concern all over his face.
Sam: What's wrong?
Wyatt: Uh, he's having a panic attack.
Sam: I didn't know Chris had occurring panic attacks.
Wyatt: He doesn't, this is just one of those things, you know?
Jason started to look concerned as well. Several students started gathering around.
Chris: No! Go away from me! You can't keep me in here!
He covered his head again and continued shouting. Dezen looked around the room before running toward the gym door. Chris looked up and stopped shouting. He dropped to the ground in tears as I ran over to him.
Wyatt: Are you okay?
Chris started crying before shaking his head. Sam and Jason came closer. I looked up at them then back to Chris.
Wyatt: I'm going to take him home.
I looked at the gym clock.
Wyatt: It's 9:30; the dance is almost done anyway.
I helped Chris up. Sam and Jason watched us as we passed them. The students that watched were now whispering to each other while keeping their eyes on us. Just great.
Piper's POV
Piper: Anything?
Leo shook his head as he looked through the book.
Leo: I mean there's many different creatures that control certain elements, like firestarters and waterbearers, but there aren't any that control all the elements, at least that I can find.
I sighed.
Piper: Well, it was a good theory. Obviously not the right one.
Wyatt walked into the attic looking worn out. I looked at the clock.
Piper: It's only 9:45. I didn't think you'd be home until 10:15, after the dance ended.
Wyatt shrugged.
Piper: Where's Chris?
Wyatt sighed before speaking.
Wyatt: He went to bed. Uh, there was a demon of fear at the dance and he latched onto Chris.
I gasped then looked at Leo.
Piper: There are more of them?
Leo shrugged. I looked back at Wyatt.
Wyatt: He said he was a new recruit. It doesn't matter anyway.
Piper: Is Chris okay?
Wyatt waved his hand.
Wyatt: Yeah, but he is pretty shaken up. He had to relive his fear of being caged in the underworld again.
I sighed and rubbed my forehead.
Piper: I thought he was over that.
Wyatt: I think in some respects he was. But, he still doesn't want to relive it.
I nodded.
Wyatt: He wanted to sleep it off so ... anyway, what are you guys doing?
Piper: Oh. I thought maybe a demon was controlling all the elements, you know, fire, water, earth, and air. But we can't find any such demon in the book.
Wyatt: That's a good theory though.
I nodded. Suddenly a loud "boom" crackled through the house.
Wyatt: Thunder?
We ran to the window. It was really storming out there.
Leo: I think all the elements are working together.
The ground shook as lightening struck a nearby tree, lighting it on fire. A couple of people were still walking on the sidewalk, unaware of the storm.
Piper: It's fake, just like the others.
My phone "dinged" with a text message. Then it "dinged" again. I grabbed my phone and looked at the texts.
Piper: It's Phoebe and Paige. They're wondering what's going on.
I texted them my theory as Leo spoke.
Leo: Well, there's really nothing we can do. We just have to wait it out.

2 Hours Later
Leo and I made our way to bed; however, sleeping isn't happening because of the storm outside. I looked at the clock: 11:59 PM. I groaned.
Piper: I hope whoever is causing this storm knows it's making me very cranky. And when I'm cranky, well, I don't think they want to know what happens.
Leo chuckled.
Leo: It can't last forever. If someone is behind this, they have to get tired eventually.
I nodded. Suddenly, the storm stopped and the room was dead silent.
Piper: Huh. Well that's weird.
Leo looked at the clock.
Leo: It's midnight.
I nodded.
Piper: Ah, Friday the 13th is over.
Leo: Whoever it was was using Friday the 13th's magical power to their advantage.
Piper: Let's hope they don't try anytime soon.
Leo nodded.
Leo: I guess this will stay a mystery.
I nodded then sighed.
Piper: Let's get some sleep.
Chris's POV
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I looked at the clock: 2:06 AM. I grabbed my phone and answered it.
Chris: Hello.
My voice was a little groggy from being woken up so early.
Sam: Chris, sorry if I woke you up, but I wanted to see if you were okay.
I sat up and tried to adjust my eyes to the darkness.
Chris: Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just a panic attack; nothing to worry about.
Sam sighed.
Sam: Yeah, but I am worried, Chris. I really wish you'd tell me what's going on.
I smiled.
Chris: Yeah.
Sam: Well, I'm glad you're okay now. Goodnight.
Sam hung up. I kept my phone to my ear, listening to the silence.
Chris: Me too.
I sighed and put the phone back on my nightstand before lying back down.
Chris: I'm a witch.
