Violet POV
'I cannot believe that I just said that to him. But, I am not wrong.' I look back and see people surrounding him. I hear comments about his quirk and if he was just acting. 'Wow, the boy just broke his arm and all you care about is his quirk.' "Either way, he is something special. Just like I said, he has one hell of a quirk." I mutter the last sentence with a slight southern accent that I try to hide. Thanks, Jasper. Everyone turns towards me as I get ready to leave.
"What is your quirk?"
"How many points did you get?"
"Are you single?"
I am bombards with questions that I do not want to answer, especially that last one. 'Sigh.' "I do not know how many points I had, yes I am single but stay away from me, and privacy please." I answer those few questions while I walk away, leaving a shocked and annoyed crowd. I continue to walk by the green-haired boy on the ground, slightly worried about him. 'I really should get his name.' I see an old lady walk out and- and smooch his arm?! 'Healing quirk by the looks of it, so she probably works here at Yuuei to help out. Obviously, if she has a quirk like that then she is the backbone of the school, so...'
"Recovery Girl..." I mumble quietly, but it seems like she still heard. "That is me dearie. Are you hurt?" She asks. 'Just like a granny!' "Oh no! I was just thinking about your quirk. It is very... interesting to say the least. Yuuei could not possibly dare to hold such wild exams without you here. With such a super factor, it is obvious that you are the backbone to this school and their, well, extreme methods." I start to ramble my thoughts quickly, almost to quickly, as to not take up too much of her time. 'My lord. How could she have thought all of this in such a timely manner?' She looks surprised to say the least as I continue on. "W-Well thank you. What is your name?" She sweat-drops. "Violet Cullen." I reply quickly as we walk away from the others. 'Oh, a Cullen! What a surprise.' "Well Violet, I hope to see you here at Yuuei Please excuse me." She then exits through the large doors. I look at the time and see that it is past noon.
"Shit, I'm dead!" I mumble. I quickly leave and run through the forest towards my house- nope, scratch that, The Cullens house. It is a hotel/prison cell for me. I see Renesmee outside sitting on Jacob's lap, who is sitting on the chair and hope that she does not see and bother me. Oh, how wrong I am. 'Fuck life.' "Where were you? Out with a man, no doubt. After all, you are a slut and an attention seeking whore." She chuckles as she adjusts herself on her dogs lap. "Where were you? Sucking the mutt?" I reply. "YOU BITCH!" She raised her hand and slaps me. She grabs her dogs leash- oop, sorry, I meant- hand, and runs back inside the house. I sigh and walk the rest of the way. As I get closer to the house, I see Isabella and Edward standing and comforting Renesmee. I am not even on the porch when they, for once, acknowledge me.
"Where were you?" Edward asks me, trying to read my mind. I use my shield that I got from Isabella, the only use for her anyways, so that he cannot read my thoughts, giving me a small headache as he tries again and again to break through. "WHERE WERE YOU?!" He asks me again. I look up, but not at him, no. I look towards the trees to my right, longing for an escape away from this hell. I look over my shoulder to the left and see Edward run at me with his full vampire speed, take note that he is the fastest of the Cullens, and grabs me by the neck, digging his nails in my porcelain white skin which starts to form cracks. He throws me into a nearby tree, knocking it down due to our strength.
Isabella runs at me and grabs me by the arm and threw me at Renesmee and her dog's feet. "Why did you hit Renesmee?!" She screeches. "I did not hit her! I am shocked that for someone who can read minds, you have not seen through her bullshit yet!" If they were not mad then, well they are now. "You, DARE, to call our daughter a liar?! She would never!" Edward says, standing between his wife and demon-spawn of a daughter while the demon sits on her mutt. "You know, I am your daughter too!" I desperately shout at them, venom welling up in my eyes, but never able to fall in this form. "No, you are not. You are a mistake, an outcast. You should not be a Cullen nor be on this damn Earth in general! As I see it, you are a disgrace, a disturbance, a pest. You hold no place in our hearts unlike dear Renesmee." Isabella states.
Somewhere Else
"Violet is coming!!" A female voice squeals.
"Why, is she visiting again?" "MAYBE SHE CAN HUNT WITH US AND HANGOUT THIS TIME! SHE STILL OWES ME A REMATCH!!" A deep, southern voice says before being followed by a loud, childish one.
"No, she is staying with us!" The female voice says excitedly, but with a hint of sadness.
"Well, let's clear a room for her!" A new female voice speaks up, excited for the new roommate.
'I hope they didn't find out.'
Violet POV
'Almost there.' I run, and run, and run until I see it. A small house appears in front of me, a couple miles away from that hell Karma and a 10-minute walk from Yuuei if I make it.
I walked into the living room and saw nobody in there.' They are here, so where are they?' I force a smile on my face and wipe my eyes. " Auntie Alice, Uncle Jasper?! Where are you guys?" I put down my bags as light footsteps come down the stairs. I look up and see their figures up here in front of me, my smile no longer forced.
"You're here!!" Alice exclaims while she runs towards me with Jasper casually leaning against the wall with a smirk. "What is wrong, Vi?" Jasper asks me after Alice lets go of me. 'Well, this would have been a perfect moment if I did not have mixed emotions.' He looks down to see my face, as he is 6ft 3in and I'm 5ft 3in. I tell them everything. "And that is why I brought my bags. I know that it is last minute, and I am sorry, but I did not know where else to go." "It's ok! I saw you coming and Rose cleared out your room for you. You look exhausted, how about you go to bed and we will hunt tomorrow together, okay?" Alice suggests, a little worried. "Mkay." I mutter through a yawn and say good night as I head to my room. As soon as I walk in, I was shocked, like, I did not expect my room to be like this.
I close my door and put my bags away quickly, then jump onto my bed. I lay on my back, all spread out, just staring at the white ceiling, letting my mind roam around. Alice and Jasper left to go see Renesmee since my 'parents' think that I ran to them- which, I mean, they are not wrong- and they do not want them to know. "Ugh, I'm BORED!" I yell out to nobody in particular. I would usually go to sleep, but now I'm not tired, so I just scroll through my Spotify and just pick a song, then continue to stare at the ceiling. I try to keep the memories away, afraid of Edward reading my mind. I activate my shield that I gained from mother before seeing the worst of my memories.
There was glass everywhere from someone bumping into a vase. Bella shrieks and gets her belt, embedding it into my human skin. There was blood running down my back. You know what they say, blood is thicker than water. she grabs my hair and rips it out of my scalp, knowing that it will grow back. "You stupid child! I thought I told you not to come out of your room until everyone left!" Bella yells at me as she continues to hit me. I was only 4 years old at the time.
I feel myself being shaken by Alice, a worried look on her face.
"Vi, are you all right?!" Jasper is sitting next to her with an envelope by his foot while he tries to comfort her, venom in both their eyes. I jump when I realize that its morning. 'The whole night, huh?'
"How long was I out?" I asked them, saying their worry slowly drain away.
"For about a week Violet! What happened? Are you sick? Hurt? Jasper, get the first aid kit!" she rushes her words together so fast that I barely understand what she just said.
"Alice, ALICE! I'm fine." I reply as I turn to Jasper. "Where are Rose and Em?"
"They want to go hunting. Rose wanted to make sure that no one barged in here while we were gone, so they stayed here to watch over you."
"Ok." I look back at the envelope by his foot. "What's that?" I ask before jumping off of the bed, trying to grab it. Keyword, trying. Before I landed, Jasper grabbed it and made sure I couldn't see it.
"Anxious, aren't ya?" he playfully asks with a heavy southern accent, his eyes dark with no trace of gold in them.
"Ah, I see the Major is out to play, huh?" I tease, with a southern accent of my own, making him chuckle. "Of course, I had to see the missus' reaction as this is important to ya." He answers with a sly grin on his face while he helps me up off the floor. I read his mind and see what the envelope is for.
"Oh my God, it's from Yuuei!" I exclaim while jumping up and down. Alice hands me the envelope and I try to read her mind, but she has her walls up. I gave her a playful pout before looking down at the envelope in my hand, my fingers tracing the edges. I feel nervous.
"What if I am not accepted? What if I am? I could slip up and accidentally reveal us as vampires. What would people think? What about the Volturi?! I would put people in danger. My blood singer! What if he's not even my blood singer?! What if he is accepted?!" I mumble so fast, almost too fast for them to understand. I feel a wave of calm wash over me and my nervousness, stopping my quick mumbling.
"Well, don't just sit there thinking of 'What if'. Open it!!" Alice shrieks excitedly. "Okay! Okay..." I laugh in between my words. I open the envelope to see a small pod fall to the ground. I look up confused as Alice shuts off the lights. The pod turns on and a projection of All Might pops on the screen. 'All Might?'
"I'm in town for one reason only. I've come to teach at Yuuei." The projection of All Might says. 'All Might? At Yuuei?!' "Awesome" I mumbled under my breath as Major- nope, Jasper- chuckles. "What's that you say?! Get to the point?! Whatever I want to say to her... can be said later?! Ah, fine. Got it..." 'What...? Oh, he is talking to someone else.' I realize this and start to grow impatient. Jasper filled this and sends a wave of common happy emotion towards me while stifling a laugh. I playfully glare at him before turning back with a smile.
"Even though you passed the written portion with the highest score, there was also the practical portion of the exam. You scored 60 points from the faux villains, which safely grants you access to Yuuei High! Although, that was not the only thing we were looking for! Rescue points were also a factor here!! Another fundamental way for Yuuei to evaluate you!! 80 points for you, Violet Cullen!! Add that to your previous score, which brings you to a total of 140 points! You, Violet Cullen, have just set a new record for Yuuei High, beating their previous record of 110!! Congratulations! Come now, Cullen! This will be your Hero Academy!" 'All the help I got, it has changed my life' I could not help but scream in joy. "YEAH!!!"
So began the high school career I have always dreamed of!! All thanks to Jasper and Alice!
Yuuei High, here I come!
