Sometimes we expect water to be our source of problem solving. It does wash away the stains and stubborn dirt from our bodies, so why not take our problems away with it?
So Kate stood in the shower, allowing the hot draining water to cleanse her skin as well as her impure thoughts she couldn't keep out of her head
The memory of Autumn's fingers brushing against her supple breasts in the car caused a heat to shoot right down to her core, her knees trembled in the shower as she placed both hands on the wall to keep herself balanced
Kate shut her eyes tightly as she took some deep breath in, feeling every flow of water droplets touch her heated skin and fall to the floor
She needed to get ready to head to the house warming she still didn't know about. For what she's heard from May, was to wear something simple but still flashy because it would be a special place they're visiting
Kate's hand gripped the handle as she turned off the water, allowing herself to step out of the shower but still feeling exactly as she did the moment she came in
Her fingers ran through her wet hair before running a comb right through it. Her mind racing back to the car ride once again
Sometimes she'd forget that Autumn was literally one of the most famous actress of their generation and the girl held alot of power at her fingertips, guess she lost her understanding of Autumn between the lines of their bickering
But to have Autumn literally assign meetings with network producters and filmmakers would be heaven. Her heart bursted at the thought of those meetings
Being apart of different films, expressing herself in her passion and working her way to the top had been Kate's dream ever since she found drama class at age ten. Everything could fall into place if she just managed to keep herself away from the actress's lips
"Jesus Christ, can you be ANYMORE slower" A voice rang through the hallway, Kate's eyes widened when she realized it was Autumn approaching her room door
Which she forgot was unlocked
"I'M GETTING DRESSED" she screamed as she clutched her towel tighter around her waist
"Well hurry up. We're already late and I really don't like to keep Kristen Stewart waiting" Autumn groaned, her footsteps slowly faded away and Kate breathed a sigh of relief
Her heart still pounding in her chest of almost being caught half naked by the raven hair girl. Her sharp breaths left her nostrils as she tossed herself onto her back, spreading her arms on the bed
"By the way, the black underwear would look nice" Autumn smirked as she peeked into the girl's room
Eyes shot wide open when Kate heard the girl's voice in her room, she snapped her head in the direction of the door to see Autumn standing there with a smirk and leaning against the doorframe
"AUTUMN" she hissed
"Yes?" The raven hair girl smirked, the small twitch of her upward lip caused a small pressure to press against Kate's heart, feeling it flutter for a few seconds at her smile
"GET OUT" Kate yelled
"Are you telling me what to do?" Autumn smirked
"wha- GET OUT" Kate yelled again, grabbing a pillow and throwing it directly to the girl's face, Autumn chuckled and gripped caught it
"For what it's worth, you should wear the blue" Autumn said
Kate furrowed her brows as she gave the girl one final death glare
"Alright alright, I'll leave" Autumn giggled as she raised her hand up in defence
"Out. Now" Kate gritted
Autumn chuckled softly as she slowly stepped away from the girl door, her shadow leaving and her footsteps echoing throughout the hall. Kate got up and locked the door, just in case.
She rolled her eyes and pressed her back against the door, feeling her heart still racing from the adrenaline Autumn always seemed to give her
Her eyes then glanced to the blue cocktail dress she had laid out on the bed rested next to the red dress
"Red it is"

"Took you long enough" Kate mumbled and crossed her arms against her chest
She was currently in the car, waiting on Autumn for the past half an hour after the girl had rushed her to complete her own work
"Shut up" Autumn mumbled as she slipped into the car
It was only then did Kate realize what the girl was wearing, a tight grey soft pants with blood red turtle neck with a golden necklace around her neck, Autumn's black hair was pulled into a high pony as a few straight strands of hair fell over her perfectly shaped jawline. Her head hung low as she focused on her phone once again
Kate bit her lip nervously as her eyes trailed over the girl's body, she couldn't help but admire the way she looked in that moment, the way everything hugged her perfect shape. The sleeves were rolled up to her elbows, giving her a more masculine look than what she was accusomted to seeing from the girl.
Autumn felt the familiar pair of dark brown eyes on her, she sighed softly and clenched her jaw
"If you want to kiss me, then do it" Autumn said, not peeling her eyes away from her phone
The driver suddenly busted out coughing out of nowhere, almost as if he had just chocked on something. The man pounded his palm against his chest when he noticed Autumn's icy blue eyes glare at him from the mirror. Her fingers pressed against a button which then pulled up the divider between them
Kate on the other hand had her eyes fully blown open as she scrunched her nose up once again, staring at the girl with wide eyes
"What?" She asked, confused by the sudden words
"You're checking me out, aren't you?" Autumn smirked, finally glancing at the brown her girl
Her eyes trailed over Kate's wavy brown hair that fell over her shoulder, surrounding her chest. The red cocktail dress started at the cleavage of her chest and hugged her petite body perfectly, stopping a bit before her ankles. Her blood red lipstick matched her heels with a silver purse to finish her look, Autumn raised a brow and held her smirk
"I knew that red would look good on you" Autumn chuckled, Kaye furrowed her brows
"You told me to wear red" Kate said confused
"Yeah, and I knew you're too stubborn to listen to me so you'd wear the red" Autumn smirked
Kate's jaw had went slack and hung open, her brown eyes fell as she stared at the girl, Autumn chuckled softly as she shook her head
"Kate" Autumn said
"Ye-Yes"
"Close your mouth, I can see your unborn children down your throat"
If it wasn't possible, Kate's eyes widened even more and her brows stitched together
"What the- WHAT THE FUCK AUTUMN" Kaye yelled but the raven hair girl simply laughed
A soft laugh escaped her throat as she watched the brunette scrunch her face up in disgust. Her soft vibrations filled the backseat of the car, it had been a while since she's actually held joy in those blue eyes
"I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING TO YOU" Kate yelled as she brought her hand purse up, swatting it against Autumn's arm playfully
"I know, but it's funny to see you all flustered. Sometimes it's even cute"
Autumn chuckled as she used her hand to protect her from Kate's pathetic attempt at murder
Autumn's hands gripped the purse as she pulled it from Kate's hand but it ended up tugging the girl forward. A squeal left Kate's lips when her body jolted forward, colliding with Autumn's chest.
Their bodies pressed against each other, the soft chuckles that left their lips created a heat between them but nothing compared to the heat Kate felt in her core when Autumn's soft blue eyes connected with her own.
Autumn gave a smile, the type that wasn't wide but wasn't small either. It was a perfect smile matched with the soft felling in her eyes
A fire instead of ice.
Kate's heart rate went to the roof as Autumn's fingers reached up to cup her cheek, She swallowed a lump in her throat as her eyes followed the girl's hands
Autumn simply smiled as her soft fingertips brushed against the girl's jaw, running down her neck and resting on her collar bone. With one swift move, she flipped Kate's hair over her shoulder so it could flow over her back
"It looks better behind" Autumn said
Her eyes then locked with the brown orbs once again, watching as Kate's teeth sunk down in her bottom lip as her brown eyes fell onto Autumn's pink ones.
The raven hair girl slowly leaned in, her lips barely brushing against Kate's jawline as she brought her lips to connect to the girl's ear
"Still don't want to kiss me?" Autumn whispered
Kate's heart was pounding in her chest, losing control before Autumn whispered that. A shocking feeling ran through her veins, flipping in her stomach. The hot lingering breath between them was driving her crazy and Autumn definitely wasn't making it easy with that small smirk
But thankfully, something always interrupts a good tension in a wattpad book. Someone's fingers tapped against the glass of the car, breaking the trance between the two girls
"Um. What the hell?"
