Three walked out the door of his apartment, and began the walk to Callie and Marie's.
He shot a quick text to Callie, telling her he'd be coming, and all she responded with was "k".
He enjoyed walking in the mornings. It calmed his mind, and let himself get used to the day in a slow and comfortable way.
He plugged in his headphones, and start dance walking Tobey Maguire style.
He walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell.
"Come in!" He heard someone say from inside.
He walked in and saw Marie sitting at the table, sipping coffee and reading.
"Hi Three. Callie is upstairs."
"Hey Marie. Thanks." He replied, turning to go upstairs.
"Three. Look at me." She stopped him.
He turned around.
"Y-yes?"
"Don't let Callie do anything... Naughty... With you. Ok?" She said.
"Uhhhhhh.... Ok?" Three replied, confused. He turned then walked upstairs.
She smiled, and now that he was gone, said:
"That's reserved for me."
He walked to the top of the huge staircase, and called out her name.
"Callie? Where are you?"
"I'm in here! Second door on the right!" He heard her voice call out.
He walked over to the door, and opened it to see Callie sitting on the bed.
"Come in." She said.
He nervously entered the room and shut the door, wondering what she wanted.
"So..... What's up?" He asked.
"I... I need your help." She said.
"What is it?" He asked.
"So, I was invited to a formal dinner for that Movie I worked on a little bit ago." She explained.
"Oh, yeah! It was really good!" He said.
"You saw it?" She asked.
"Of course! It had you in it, so I had to!" He responded with a smile.
(He meant this in a friendly non romantic way)
"Aww...." She blushed.
"How thoughtful~ Well, I need to ask you a favor."
"What is it?" He asked.
"I'm expected to have a date..... So..... Will you come with me?" She asked him.
"Huh? Oh, you mean act like your boyfriend or something?" He asked.
She sighed and facepalmed.
"What an idiot...." She thought.
"Yes, whatever. Will you go with me or not?" She asked.
"Ok. Sure." He said.
"Great! It's tomorrow night at 7, but I'll come over to get you ready at 6."
She said excitedly.
"Alrighty. I guess I'll head out now."
He said. "See ya!"
"Bye!" Callie waved as he walked out of the room and back downstairs.
She sighed, and thought to herself.
"He's very much an idiot. A dumb, adorable idiot."
As Three reached the bottom of the stairs, he heard Marie ask:
"So what did Callie want?"
He turned to see her taking a sip of coffee.
"She asked me to go on a date with her."
Marie almost choked on the coffee she just sipped.
"What?!"
"As in she was invited to a dinner for that movie she was in and wants me to take being her date." He explained.
Marie looked at him, then narrowed her eyes. Three stared back blankly.
She shrugged, knowing that that's not what Callie meant, but Three didn't know, so she didn't care. She figured he wouldn't do anything if he thought he was supposed to be faking something.
"Alright. I'll see you later." She concluded.
"See you later Marie." He said, walking out the door.
He walked outside and put his headphones back on.
He walked around for a bit, just enjoying himself. He sat down at a bench in the park.
He smiled. It was a beautiful day.
He sat for a minute, and eventually felt a pair of arms wrap around his chest and someone's head rest stop his.
He chuckled.
"Hi four." He said.
She giggled, and sat down next to him.
"Heya Three. How has your day been?" She asked.
"It's been pretty good. You?" He responded.
"It's great now that I'm with you." She said, smiling.
Three smiled. He thought her bubbly and cheerful personality was adorable.
"So, what did you do today?" Four asked.
"Callie asked me to fake a date with her for a dinner she got invited to."
Three said.
"Are you going to do it?" Four questioned.
"Yeah. It's not like it's an actual date of anything." Three said.
"Hm..... Three, have you ever been in a relationship? Like, had a girlfriend or anything?" Four asked.
"Eh? Well, no.... I haven't." He responded, looking away.
"Ever been on a date?" She asked.
"Well, a few times... But the only dates I've had were with one girl a few years ago, and it turns out she was just doing it as a joke with her friends. I haven't dated since." Three said, slightly ashamed of himself.
"Oh..." Four said. "I'm sorry."
"It's alright, it's not your fault." Three responded.
"Still, that's cruel. You deserve better than to be lead on." She said.
He smiled.
"Thanks Four."
She smiled at him brightly.
"Of course!"
Three looked around, and then checked the time.
"It's getting a little late. What do you want to do now?"
She turned to him excitedly.
"Sleepover?"
He chuckled.
"There's the Four I know. Sure, meet at my place in a half hour."
"Ok!" She said cheerfully.
She got up and ran off.
"Bye Three! See you in a bit!"
He waved in return.
He then got up and started to walk back to his apartment.
"Four is always so optimistic... So cheerful... So vibrant. I really admire that."
He thought.
(Time skip because I'm a lazy piece of shit)
Three sat on his couch, practicing guitar.
A knock came upon his door, and he got up to get it.
Four stood there in a tank top and shorts, smiling.
"Heya! I brought snacks!" She said.
He smiled.
"You're the best."
She entered and played her bag down beside the couch.
"It's been a while since we've had a sleepover." She said.
"It has." Three responded. "I'm glad we're doing this again. I missed spending time with you."
She blushed and play punched his arm.
"Aww, you missed me?"
He chuckled.
"Soooo, what do you want to do?"
They sat on the couch and thought for a bit. Three suggested Mario kart. They proceeded to play Mario kart for a while. Three got his ass handed to him by Four. They continued to try and find something to do.
"Hm.... Truth or dare?" Four asked.
"Sure. Why not?" Three responded.
"Truth or dare Three." She asked him.
"I'll go with truth." He responded.
"Hmm... Have you ever done anything illegal? If so, what was it?" She asked.
"No, not really. Well, I guess when I attacked 8 that could've been considered assault, but I'm pretty sure all is forgiven from what happened in the metro." He responded.
She gave a "that makes sense" face in return.
"Alright." He said. "Truth or dare."
"Truth." She said.
"Hmm...." He thought. "For some reason, I'm feeling a bit evil. I think I want to embarrass you."
A devilish smile grew across his face.
"Eh?" She said.
He looked at her.
"What's the most embarrassing thing you do on the daily?" He asked.
She blushed.
"Why do you ask..?"
"I don't know... Just curious I guess."
He responded.
"W-Well.... I-I kind of have a squid plushie... That I got because it looks like someone I know (him) in squid form. And... I-I may sleep with it every night..." She said.
(Roundabout starts playing-
no I'm just joking)
Three sat there.
"Well, I was not expecting that."
"D-Don't j-judge me!" She said, embarrassed.
"I won't..." He said. "I think I know which plushie your talking about. Is it that green one your brought over that one time?"
"Y-Yeah...." She responded.
(Three's ink color goes between green or blue.. He doesn't suspect it would be him though)
"Alright, your turn." Three said.
"T-Truth or dare..." Four asked.
"Dare." He said.
"You shouldn't have done that. Now it's my turn to make you embarrassed." She said, giving him a look that simply said, You are fucked.
"......shit." He said.
She looked at him dead in the eyes.
"Kiss me." She said.
"Huh?" It took him a second to process it before flipping out.
"Wait what?! What are you-"
He was cut off by her lips pressing against his.
He had no idea what was happening. But also had no idea how to get out of it.
She pulled away, and just looked at him.
"Well, how was it?" She asked.
"It was pretty good. I think." He responded.
She gave him a questionable look.
"You think?"
"I don't know, I've never done that before-"
He responded, looking away and blushing.
"Wait... That was your first kiss?!" She asked.
"Y-Yeah... It was nice though..." He said.
"Alright. I'm glad it was nice." She said with a smile.
They sat for a while, talking, for some reason she put her legs across his lap.
"I think it's almost time we go to bed. I'll go grab a sleeping bag." He said.
"Ok." She said, not moving.
"Um... I kind of need you to move so I can get up." He said awkwardly.
She snuggled up to him.
"No." She said.
"But we need to go to sleep-"
He tried to say.
"We can just sleep here." She said, still hugging him.
"Together? But like... That's a no no." He said.
"Doesn't matter, I get cold at night and you're warm." She said.
"But..." He tried to protest.
She put a finger on his lips.
"Shush. Here." She grabbed a nearby blanket and threw it over them.
"Goodnight Three." Four said, nuzzling her head into his chest.
Three sighed, giving up.
"Goodnight Four...."
They fell asleep there, together.
