"Alec I cant decide" I say groaning. I swear I'm like a child sometimes. How do I even have a fiancé?
"Sweetie just pick a shade" Alec says looking at all the shades of blue.
"No you haven't helped me at all now you have to pick a color" I say sternly. Jace chuckles in the back.
"I'm sorry do I amuse you" I snap.
"No ma'am" Jace says now quietly.
"Good now I'm dragging my fiancé off to help me" I say grabbing Alecs hand and dragging him out of there.

"Baby what about chocolate" he says tasting the samples I brought.
"Yes chocolate, red velvet, vanilla dyed blue. Coffee, tres leches and" I look at the plate we selected "carrot cake"
"Because carrot cake is delicious" I say I bought the whole cake. I've been snacking on it this whole time.
I see alec smile at my words. He doesn't say anything just keeps looking at me.
"Here" I say handing him my phone.
"Why?" He asks.
"To take a picture" I say.
"Why do need a picture when I have the real thing infront of me?" He says kissing my cheek.
"Bold of you to assume I'm clique." I say smugly. "I just want a picture"
He rolls his eyes. "How stupid of me"
"Glad we agree on something" I say "take the picture this is the youngest I'll ever be" I say.
He snaps a couple pictures of me doing crazy stuff. He pulls me to him. "Alec you're ruining a perfect beth picture" I say joking.
"No im not" he says
We take a couple pictures together. "What an adorable couple" clary says
"Uh we have a mission" she says I nod "good luck bro" I say punching him.
"Yeah okay" he says "hey try not killing anyone"
"Oh me why would you think that?" I ask
"No reason" he says kissing my lips. "I'll be back"

"Jace I'm bored" I say dramatically. He didn't go on the mission apparently the clave strictly prohibited him from doing so.
"What do you want me to do about it?" He asks smiling teasingly.
"Fix it. What the fuck I'm supposed to say?" I say.
The lights of the institute go dark and red. "Shit please tell me there is no purge announcement?" I ask. "Why am I always the one in these situations. I bet Isabelle would love to"
"If all crimes legal Im killing victor" I say
"It means an intruder" he says. "It's on lockdown"
"So five nights at Freddie's? This shit keeps getting worse and worse." I say. I grab my weapon.
"Anything dies if you hit it hard enough" I say.
"You're the craziest women I've every met. And I'm your brother" he says.
"Yeah yeah I'm nuts. let's kill this fucker" I say.
"You sound like a nut job" he says grabbing his seraph blade.

We walk looking around the place. "Geronimo heat signatures?" I ask my AI.
"12 detected ma'am. Main control room. I have locked down the building for mundane safety" he says
"Helpful" he mutters.
We see movement in the corner of our eyes. I see my fiancé.
"Geronimo track Alec" I say.
"He is currently in queens" he says.
I throw my sword at the thing. It turns into dust.
"Remind me not to get in you way" jace says. I make my way to my sword. Swiftly kicking it into my hands.
"Why not?" I say wiping the dust off it.
"I don't exactly want to die" he says.
"What death isn't fun? You should know you died" I say
"Shut up" he says playfully shoving me.
"1 down 11 to go" I say.
My phone rings. "Why is the institute on lock down?" Alec says.
"Oh intruders" I say. "Uh I've got it handled." I say jace kicks me in the shin.
"Hey you haven't killed any" I say glaring hitting his head.
"Be safe. Love you" he says hanging up.
We walk into the main room where people are. I see people unconscious. I look at have saying we're so screwed.
Something jumps at jace. I block it with my cuffs. I stab it. Then a swarm of demons just come out of no where. Jace and I work together to kill everyone.
"Im not cleaning this up" I say. I throw my sword dusting a demon in the hallway.
"Alright Geronimo un lock this puppy" I say to no one in particular.
The purge looking lights turn white again and the institute looks back to normal. I see people are starting to wake up.
"Alright sleeping beauties we don't have the Luxury of time get going" I order.
"Anyone every tell you you're an amazing idiot?" Jace says swinging an arm over me.
"No one in particular bro" I say
"We did it. Now clean up" I say leaving.
