"Look for Vanya. She might have come back here," Five told me, walking up the main stairs.

"On it," I nodded, splitting up from him.

I checked every room in the Academy. Nothing. Vanya was nowhere to be found. I walked back towards the stairs where I found Five, Diego, and Klaus all standing.

"No sign of Vanya," Five informed us.

"She's not in any of the rooms," I added.

"She's not downstairs either," Klaus continued.

"Well, I'm out," Diego told us, patting me on the shoulder and walking towards the stairs.

"Wait, wait," Klaus interjected, turning to look at him.

"Where are you going?" I asked. "Vanya's still out there, and so are Hazel and Cha-Cha,"

"I know. I'm gonna get my things and then I'm outta here," Diego added, stopping. "I've got some unfinished business with those fools,"

He turned and continued walking, disappearing from sight. Klaus sighed and leaned against the railing.

"Hey, did Dad say anything about the apocalypse when you spoke to him?" Five asked him. "Any clues to how it happens?"

"No. No clues. Truly terrific shave. But, no clues," Klaus replied solemnly.

Five sighed and started for the stairs. Me and Klaus looked at each other and took off after him.

"You know, come to think of it, he did mention something about my potential, and how I've barely scratched the surface of my-," Klaus ranted as we followed Five down the stairs.

"How did he know about the apocalypse?" Five asked, interrupting Klaus.

"I don't know, but listen. This whole jumping through time thing of yours, how did you- how did you know how to do that?" Klaus stuttered while we all entered the main level.

Klaus and Five came face-to-face and I stood watching by the stairs.

"I didn't! You'd actually realize that if you were sober," Five spat.

"Hey, I am sober. I've been sober for two- almost two days now!" Klaus whined.

"Yeah, two days," Five scoffed.

"It feels like 45 years," Klaus mumbled.

"Who are you kidding Klaus? I've seen you fidgeting all day," Five snapped.

"Oh, well, I guess we're both fighting our addictions, then," Klaus retorted.

"I'm not an addict," Five argued.

Klaus walked towards him.

"Yeah, you are. You're addicted to a drug called the apocalypse," Klaus said, bending over and coming face-to-face with Five.

"You're wrong," Five said through gritted teeth.

"First sign. Denial," Klaus said, straightening up and turning around.

Five disappeared and appeared in front of Klaus.

"You and I, we're not the same!" he spat.

Klaus chuckled.

"I've seen that look in the eye of someone who doesn't know who they are without their high anymore. Trust me, you gotta just let it go," Klaus said quietly.

"Klaus, come on," I pleaded, glancing at Five seeing that he was noticeably upset.

Five looked at Klaus for another minute before throwing the eye. It whizzed past my head and smashed to pieces against the wall.

"Jesus!"

"Over your tantrum yet?"

I leaned against the doorway of the living room, looking at Five who sat at the bar, sipping on a margarita.

Five glanced over at me before sliding a second drink down the counter, towards me.

"Do you think we really stopped it?" he asked. "The apocalypse?"

I sighed and took a sip of my margarita.

"I hope so. Cause I don't know what I'm gonna do if we didn't," I replied.

A knock was heard at the door and I looked over at it in confusion.

"I'll get it," Five muttered, getting up.

Five re-entered the room with Hazel pointing a gun at him. My eyes widened and I flicked my hand. The gun flew from his hand and clattered against the wall.

"Oh. Shit. Sorry. Old habits," Hazel apologized, looking over at me.

"What the hell do you want?" I snapped.

"Look, there's not much I can do about the past. But just remember, I'm not the only killer in the room," Hazel explained. "Speaking of which, that job you guys did in Calhoun, that shits legendary. Can't believe I'm here talking to you two-,"

"Hazel, why are you here?" Five cut off the larger man.

"Well, I'm you know-"

Hazel was interrupted as Diego ran into the room and kicked him down.

"Diego, stop!" I yelled.

"Get up!" Diego yelled at Hazel, continually kicking him.

Me and Five looked at each other and sighed.

"You know, before you kill him, you might wanna hear what he has to say," Five yelled over the fighting.

"I'm gonna kill you for what you did to Patch!" Diego spat as he pulled out a knife.

"Oh shit," I muttered.

"Or don't. See how that goes," Five muttered, taking a sip from the margarita.

They continued fighting and Diego stabbed Hazel in the leg. Hazel yelled out in pain and Diego bit him in the ear.

"We should stop this," I concluded, looking over to Five.

"Yeah, I got it," Five sighed, setting down his drink.

Five blinked in behind Diego and smashed a glass vase over his head, knocking him out.

I draw the line at biting," Five informed as Hazel held his ear.

"Hazel, say whatever you came here to say. Now," I demanded.

"I left my partner, quit the commission, came to volunteer," Hazel explained.

"For what?" Five and I asked at the same time.

"To help stop the apocalypse," Hazel finished.

Five looked over to me and chuckled as Hazel wiped glass off his shoulder.

"What the hell could be funny to you right now?" Hazel asked.

"Before I answer that, why do you wanna help us?" Five asked.

"Let's just say I have vested interest in a doughnut shop," Hazel told us vaguely.

"Well, I hate to break it to you pal, but you're a day late and a dollar short," Five replied. "The fact that you're here right now means that the apocalypse is over,"

"Really? How do you know?" Hazel asked hopefully.

"The mark is dead. We found him this morning. You were the last known unknown left in the equation," Five explained.

"Shit. Really?" Hazel asked happily.

Hazel sat down next to Five and drank out of the blender.

"So now what?" he asked.

"You know, to be honest, i don't know," Five replied.
