I returned to the pool and Kodiak was in the pool, why does he have to look so hot...damn those abs. Don't look...don't look down!
Shit I looked down...wow...just wow. I saw him catch me staring and I just tried to act like I wasn't.
"Like what you see?" He asked with a smirk
"Whatever." I said trying to play it off cool
"Come swim with us." Said Kiara
"Just let me put my phone away." I said
I put my phone away and walked to the pool, I just dove into the water, the nice cold water was exactly what I needed to wake up. I need to get my shit together...especially if red is here.
Nathan swam over to me with a worried expression, almost like he knew what was going on in my head.
"Sis...it's going to be okay, you know his just a guy, if you like him I'm sure I'll like him and you know dad will just interrogate him for a bit." He whispered
"Ugh, I hate how you can read me so well. It's just I don't know how I feel anymore...Kodiak and Mateo are just confusing me." I whispered
"I know...you aren't alone anymore though. I got you." He whispered in a reassuring tone.
"Thanks.I heard he is here." Whispered Nathan
"What does that have to do with you."I whispered
"His good looking...maybe you need a distraction." Whispered Nathan
"I don't miss business with pleasure and right now I am guarding Kiara." I said and swam away from him.
"You need to get laid!" Shouted Nathan
"I got laid 2 days ago thank you very much!" I shouted back
I couldn't help myself...i looked in Kodiak's direction to see his reaction and he looked intrigued but jealous. Why do I enjoy making him jealous.
"Kiara do you have a date for Friday?" I asked
"Actually Nathan asked me to be his date." She smiled
"Great, do you have a dress?" I asked
"No." She said nervously
"Let's go shopping." I said and she smiled then nodded
"Can I join?" Asked Kodiak
"Why would you want to join?" I asked
"Who wouldn't want to see you try on outfits?" He said with a smirk.
"Fuck off." I said as I walked out of the pool, making sure he shake my ass a little bit
I could feel his eyes watching me...I enjoyed having his attention. Kiara and I both got dressed and I sat in the game room waiting for her to show up. I just put on a basic outfit.

"Are we stating the obvious?" I asked
He walked up to be, trapping me in between his arms, he leaned forward...I could feel his minty, warm breathe on my lips. Fuck why is he shirtless.
"I know you want me, why do you fight it?" He questioned
He leaned closer and I was about to give in when I heard Mateo's voice down the hall. I pushed Kodiak off of me and he looked annoyed as shit. Mateo walked in and scanned the room.
"Kiara told me you should meet her in the garage, I think she might want to take the lambo." Said Mateo
"Got it, thanks Mateo." I said and I hugged him
"Hey...before you go. Do you have a date for Friday?" Asked Mateo
"Oh actually I-" I got cut off by Kodiak
"Yeah she does. It's me." Said Kodiak
"What the actual fuck. No you aren't. I have a date, it just ain't you." I said
They both looked at me confused and I smiled.
"You both may be hot and sexy but so am I, if you want to get me for a night you gotta work fast. I'm going to the ball with Dante." I said and walked out of the room
"Who the fuck is Dante?!" Shouted Kodiak

Kiara and I shopped for a bit and found some options, I was so exhausted when the night came around. All I want to do it sleep. I hopped into the shower and got into some comfortable clothing. It was Gina's night with Kiara so I slept in my room. I locked my door because I didn't want any surprise visitors.
I was sleeping peacefully, then suddenly I heard someone messing with my handle...wtf. I put my cloth over my face and grabbed my gun.
"Who's there?" I asked
"It's Kodiak." His voice sounded stressed
I put on a gown and opened the door. He looked at me and gave me a weak smile. What's up with him. I let him come into my room and I closed my door.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"My undercover men back in Sicily heard that my sisters ex-husband is missing...apparently his gone underground." Said Kodiak as he ran his hand thought his hair
"She's safe here Kodiak, no one knows where this place is and we have no traitors here. The only people that know about Kiara being here are people I can trust. She's safe here I promise." I said as I rubbed his back reassuringly
We spoke for a bit longer about his sister, his mother, his dad...just his past and it felt good to know he trusted me. I just wasn't as trusting. I listened and internalized what he was saying.
-The next day-
We finally said goodbye when the sun was rising and he went back to his room. I fell asleep only to be woken up by Gina. Ugh that women
"His here." She said and I knew who she was talking about. Fuck me.
"Okay we need to get done." Gina said
"Yeah okay." I said as I pulled myself out of bed and walked to the bathroom.
"Girl why do you look like death?" She asked
"Kodiak came here last night, he needed to talk." I said and she nodded
"What do you want to wear?" She asked as I got into the shower
"Sexy!" I shouted
"Got it." She shouted
I finished up in the bathroom. Brushed my teeth,Gina did my hair and makeup and I ended up choosing between 3 options

I decided since it's a hot day on a tropical island I was going to go with option 1 and I know Dante will appreciate it...he always loved when he could see my tattoos.
I finally finished getting ready and gave Gina a hug before I made my way towards the stairs. As I approached the stairs I heard arguing so I stood back and tried to listen.
"Who are you?!" Shouted Kodiak
"Who are you!?" Shouted Dante
"Listen here retard leave her alone, she's mine." Said Kodiak
I'm nobody's last I checked, I just rolled my eyes and continued to listen.
"She isn't a object jackass." Said Dante
"I meant, I want to be with her, where did you even come from." Questioned Kodiak
He wants to be with me...wtf...why did that make me smile like a fucking teenager in high school.
I decided I had heard enough and started walking down the stairs catching both of their attention. I strutted, let's just say I wanted to make sure they knew the effect I had on the room. When I reached the bottom of the staircase Cohen approached me.
"Boss, Nathan needs you." He said in a shaky voice. That was unlike Cohen.
"Please excuse me, Dante I'll be back." I said and he smiled and nodded
Kodiak have him a dirty look.
I ran to Nathan's room, I didn't know what was going on, I was worried. I pushed the door open and saw Nathan sitting in the corner of his room in the dark, fuck not again, I hate when he goes through this.
Nathan and I experience anxiety attacks, normally we can help each other calm down and manage it because it's what we would do when we were smaller. I ran to his side and just held him tightly, I whispered to him, I got him to concentrate on things, like smells, objects, etc and he started to relax, he eventually came out of it and I stayed with him for a little longer just to make sure he was okay. Childhood trauma...fun.
We said our goodbyes and I asked Kiara to stay with him. She normally made him happier. I made my way to Dante in the living room, he was breathtaking as always, I'm lucky...right. He turned around when I entered the room. I looked at every inch of him, he wore a smart black pants, a white button up that revealed his tattoos, I live his tattoos, he had a blazer on and his hair was styled perfectly. Damn he didn't even have to try to turn me on.
"You like the view?" He asked in a seductive tone
Ooo that Raspy, deep voice will be the end of me, I felt a shiver go down my spine when he spoke.
"Definitely." I said in a seductive tone.
"You my love look breathtaking as always...how did I get so lucky." He said as he memorized each inch of me.
I loved the way he looked at me, he always made me feel like an equal and not like he was more dominant. He saw me for me.
"I know." I said with a smirk
He pulled me into a hug and he kissed my forehead, I giggled and he smiled at me...I love his eyes, they were a ice blue with specs of grey...I could stare at him all day.
"Ready?" He asked
I nodded and he took my hand and lead us towards the front door. He always surprises me when we go out.
We got into his car and no matter how much I tried to get him to tell me where we were going he refused, ugh! Finally we arrived at a beautiful field of flowers, it was breathtaking...the gorgeous sunny day, the flowers, him. It was perfect. He covered my eyes with his hands and guided me.
"Ouch babe!" I said even though I didn't hit anything
"Babe I'm so sorry...what hap-" he stopped mid sentence I'm sure he realized I was lieing
I laughed.
"You think you funny don't you." He said in a mischievous and playful tone.
Before I could comprehend what was happening he swung me around to face him and he slammed his soft lips onto mine. His kiss was passionate and he knew exactly how to get the fire inside me started. I got lost in him. His tongue asked for entrance and my lips immediately parted and allowed his tongue to collide with mine, they moved perfectly together. We both pulled away for air, he were panting heavily.
"You drive me crazy women, you will be the death of me." He said through strained breaths
I giggled.
He continued to guide me until we stopped and I felt him release me. He removed the blindfold and I was amazed...it was beautiful. This man, how did I get this lucky.

"Dante!" I said
"This...this is-" he cut me off
"You deserve so much more but I hope this is okay for now, I hope to spoil you like this for the rest of your life." He said as he smiled at me
I engulfed him into a hug and showered him with kisses while he laughed.
"So I'm guessing you like it?" He asked
"Like? I love it! Ooo is that food!" I shouted in excitement
He just laughed as I ran to the food. We spent the rest of the afternoon talking, laughing, eating, looking at clouds and just loosing track of time. I felt like I was in a twilight zone.

Kodiak's POV
I heard her leave...what's wrong with me. Of course she has a boyfriend. She's amazing, independent, funny, beautiful, she's everything any guy would want.
I wonder where his taking her, I hope it goes horribly. I miss her...last night talking to her about my past, I've never allowed myself to be so vulnerable. Now she's on a date with stupid Dante, ugh. Why can't she be on a date with me.
Because you're to slow, I know I felt something with her, I know I wasn't imagining our connection. She had to have felt it too...I wonder if he makes her happy.
I just spent the afternoon mopping around the villa trying to think about anything other than her but she was the only thing I could think of. I must have been so lost in thought I didn't hear Kiara calling my name. I only noticed her when she hit my head.
"Ouch!" I shouted
"Where were you? You were like in your own little world." She said
"I was just deep in thought." I said
"He was thinking about Blue Eyes." Said Cohen
Where did he come from.
"You funny. Why would I do that." I said and Kiara and Cohen gave me a look of confusion
"Well because it's obvious you like her." Said Kiara
"I don't, we're just friends and business partners." I said
"Come on man, I see the way you look at her and how jealous you got when Dante showed up. Just a heads up Dante chased her for awhile, he had to work to get her and he did. I don't think his willing to let her go anytime soon. She's happy also...I don't want to be right but I think you should try to move on." Said Cohen in a sympathetic tone.
"Whatever, I'm going to swim." I said and stormed out of the room.
Fucking Dante, I thought I had a chance...she was into me. I felt it. I know she wore that bikini for me yesterday, she was all I could think about and the way she purposely bent in front of me...if she didn't like me why would she tease me like that.
I need to talk to her...I'll talk to her when she gets back. I hope she had a horrible time with him, just thinking of him kissing her makes me want to pull his spine out of his nostrils! Yes I said Nostrils.
I just swam and took a shower then waited in the tv room for her to return to the villa.

Safires(BLUE EYES) POV
"Dante this is so romantic babe." I said with a smile
"You deserve it and so much more baby. This night ain't over just yet. Now that we've watched the sunset I have a surprise for you." He said
He stood up and extended his hand out to help me up. I took his hand and he pulled me up. We packed the food up and he told me that he hired people to set this beautiful picnic and they would pack it up so we left. We got to the car and started driving. My excitement only increased each minute.
He smiled over at me and put his hand onto my lap tracing little circles on my thigh. I love this man. We stopped at the beach...I was confused because he didn't tell me to pack a swimsuit.
"Ready?" He said as he held out the blindfold. I laughed at his childish grin.
I nodded and he put the blindfold on me. He guided me towards the beach... I could hear the waves hitting the shore, I loved the smell of the ocean. We stopped and he held my hands caressing my knuckles with his thumbs; I love his small gestures.
"Okay baby, 3...2...1" and he removed the blindfold
"Baby...I love you." I said and kissed him.
This is the cutest thing ever, I can't believe he did all this for me.
"This time I set everything up myself...it took awhile but it was so worth it to see you so happy." He said with a sincere smile.
"I love you baby." I said
"I love you too amor." He said

We spend the evening cuddling under the stars watching our favorite movies. As it got later we both started getting tired and we both ate to much junk food. Those snacks were so good though.
We packed everything up and made our way back to the villa, we sang in the car, laughing at how bad our voices were...well my voice. He had the voice of an angel. I was on cloud nine. But surprisingly we didn't go home, I noticed he took a different exit.
"Babe, where are we going?" I asked
"Why do you have to be so good at directions, I didn't want you to notice but I have one more surprise...this is the last one okay." He said and I smiled
"Okay, you make me the happiest girl ever you know that. I never thought I would ever find someone that would love me just for me. You really make me feel like a normal women...you see me. I love you so much. You are my best friend, soulmate...my world. I'm so grateful I let you take me out on that first date, remember you took me ice skating even though you had no clue what you were doing. You took me ice skating because you knew I liked it but you ended up falling on your ass half the time." I said and we just laughed at the memory
He took hold of my hand and squeezed it. I looked up at him and his eyes were on the road, he sneaked small glances at me.
"I love you mi amor, you are my best friend and soulmate, I don't know how I managed without your laugh, smile, just you." He said and I could help but giggle like a girl.
Finally we stopped at a forest entrance, there were fairly lights hanging from the trees, it was beautiful.
He told me to wait 5 minutes then go where he went...he said to follow the path. So after 5 minutes I got out of the car and locked it. I walked into the path and saw rose petals and fake candles(he always cared about the environment, another reason I love him) I followed the path he made, each step I got more anxious, I nerves were going crazy, it was so beautiful. I heard music...what's going on. I turned the corner and there he was...he...he was standing there in a tuxedo with a nervous expression. Our song was playing, the song we danced to for the first time, he smiled when he saw me and I smiled back at him. I can't believe this is happening. I walked closer and as I got closer I noticed a ring box in his hand and I started to cry. He got down on one knee and took my hand, I was shaking.
"Mi amor, my love, my queen, my world, my baby, my everything...I've never met anyone like you in my life. I've never met someone so forgiving, kind, sweet, funny, goofy, clumsy, crazy even hungry. I've never met anyone who has a big heart like you. Safire You complete new in ways I didn't know I could be. You give my life purpose, you make me want to be better, you make me want to live life, I look into the future and I see you, I see us having little mini versions of ourselves running around. I see myself waking up next to you everyday, spoiling you until your time on this earth is over. Baby I don't want to live in a world, universe even, that doesn't have you in it. I need you in my life for the rest of my life. So here I am on my knee in front of the strongest, most beautiful, most inspiring, most caring and kind person I know, I love you. Safire Santos will you make me the happiest man in the world and Marry Me?" He asked
"I can't...I can't say no!" I said and he told up and kissed me.
"Don't do that baby." He said with a breathe of relief
"I'm sorry baby." I said with a smile
He pulled me back in and picked me up, he kissed me with such passion, love, pure love, I had never felt so special in my entire life. I love this man and now his going to be my husband.

We took some pictures and made our way back to the car, I was so excited to get home and tell everyone the amazing news!!!
"I love you." He said as he kissed my knuckles while driving
"I love you too." I said with a smile as I looked at him
Finally we arrived at home and I was over the moon, I couldn't wait to run inside and tell everyone. We got our things and headed inside.
Before we walked inside he took my hand and squeezed it, almost telling me that this is forever. I have him one more kiss and we walked in.
Everyone was in the tv room watching a movie.
"They're finally home!" Shouted Nathan
"Yes me are...guys I have big news." I said as him and I walked into the tv room still holding hands.
They put the movie on pause and turned around, I couldn't help but notice Kodiak's disgust when he looked at our hands. Why was he being like this...I never lead him to believe anything did I? I just made jokes. Ugh concentrate!
"Dante proposed!" I said and stuck out my hand to show them the ring
They all were so happy for me. My dad already knew because Dante and him had apparently met before I knew and he asked my father for his blessing. Nathan apparently met him already when he went on a walk, Dante helped him with some issues he was dealing with. How did I not know about this.
"I'm the best man!" Said Nathan
"Oh course, I have 2. You and my brother Diego." Said Dante
"I can't believe you're getting married." Said Kiara in a excited tone
Kodiak looked at me and ran out of the room..wtf.
"Kodiak!?" I shouted and he continued to walk away.
"Guys I'll be back, I'm going to check on him." I said and the nodded
I followed Kodiak, I didn't want to hurt him. I found him in the office. He was sitting on the couch with his hands in his hair and his head facing the ground.
"Kodiak...what's wrong?" I asked softly
"The problem is that I was to late." Said Kodiak in a timid tone
"What do you mean?" I asked as I sat down next to him
"Don't you get it,I fell for you...the little time I've known you I just I fell for you. I was to late." He said in a strained tone
"I'm...I'm so sorry Kodiak, I never intended to hurt you. I'm sorry. I...I don't know what to do." I said in a sad tone
"Just...can you hold me please." He said in a desperate tone...almost like he was going to give up.
I pulled him into a hug and he just held me as I rubbed his back. Trying to sooth him at least. After a long while we let go of each other and I looked at him.
"Kodiak, you will find happiness, I know you will. You deserve it. You are such a great guy and any girl would be lucky to call you theirs. Just give it time, you will find her." I said and he gave me a smile.
"Come on, let's go get drunk, I have no work tomorrow so." I said and I managed to get a laugh.
"Okay boss." He said in a sarcastic tone
"It's Mrs Boss to you." I said and we both laughed
After getting stupid drunk we went to our own rooms and Dante was laying in my bed when I got there, my man...is so sexy.
We cuddled that night and I fell asleep in his arms, the place I felt the safest. He was my home.
