Okay so I missed yesterday so I am posting this today instead. Sorry about that guys! I even did like a thousand words just for you! Okay? And there will be something else after this chapter to make it up to you guys for last week. Okie so let's get on with it!
After Mei laid Rumi onto the bed they started checking on her. They fixed her up and then waited for her to wake up. Mei had calmed down now and Tenya was now on his 16th cup of coffee.
"Mei it is after 3am. You should go home now. I'll wait with Rumi. If she doesn't wake up before school time I will get Madam to watch her."
"No that's alright Tenya. You never stay up after 10pm so I'll stay and wait. Besides... it is my fault she is here. Maybe I should just stop these stupid experiments. Then this won't happen anymore."
"Mei?" They both turned to see that Rumi had woken up! She sat up in the bed and didn't look like she just got fried with 100 volts.
"RUMI! ARE YOU OKAY?!?! DO YOU REMEMBER ME? HOW OLD ARE YOU? HOW MANY FINGERS AM I HOLDING UP???"
"Woah! Calm down sister. I'm all good!"
"Are you sure? I thought I really did it that time. That baby is very dangerous after all. It will never work."
"Mei. Don't quit."
"Huh?"
It was silent for a while until Tenya stood up.
"I'll go get you some tea Miss Rumi."
"Thanks Ten Ten! You're a pal!"
Mei however wasn't paying attention. She felt terrible still. Because of her, her step sister almost died. Everyone told Mei she was crazy and that her "babies" were bad. She never let that get to her until now.
"Mei. You know I like your machines and stuff. Like that one machine you made that helps me mop the floor? Now that was useful."
"It malfunctioned and somehow blew up the coffee maker."
"... okay? Then what about the one that helps light the fireplace? Now that took some work off of me."
"That one set the barn on fire."
"Oh come on! You are just finding faults in all your work!"
"I know. I'm doing it on purpose."
Silence took over again. Mei's head hung low as she counted how many times her machines blew up or set something on fire. Rumi on the other hand was staring at the ceiling wondering how she could help the girl. Tenya came back and placed the tea on the table.
"I have called Madam, she will be here soon. And she is bringing her son as well."
"Oh cool!" And so they sat and waited for Madam to arrive. Who is this Madam you may ask? Well she is... Wait a sec! I ain't tellin' ya!
Just kidding she arrived.
Madam was a rather small woman with long white hair and grey eyes.
She came in and sat down.
"Mom?" Her son followed shortly after. And guess who he was.
"This is my son, Sh-"
"Iida?"
"Todoroki?"
"So it was you then? Wow. What a coincidence."
"Indeed."
"Shoto, do you know young Tenya?" asked Madam.
"Yeah we go to the same school."
"Aww. I didn't know. I'm happy to see you making friends."
Madam then walked up to Rumi and sat on the bed next to her.
"How are you feeling Rumi?"
"Eh, could be worse." Rumi said leaning back on the bed with her cup still in her hands. "What about you Rei? My, do you look absolutely stunning today?"
"Oh, thank you. That is very sweet of you."
"That was sarcasm but I'm glad you took it as a complement!"
They drifted off into conversation until they heard an alarm.
"We'd better be off now." Tenya said, turning off the alarm. "My apologies for having to leave so abruptly."
"No no no that's fine. Have a good day. Shoto give me a hug before you go."
Todoroki walked over to her and gave her a big hug. He then kissed her forehead and walked away. "See you later mom. Get home safe.
"I will."
(Rumi's pov)
Kay so now I am all alone with this lady. I really like her though so it's not such a big deal. Rei is very sweet. Her husband is scary though but he's alright. (A/N: Endeavor is not a bad dad here okie? That clear? Okie!)
"So, how's Shinya?"
"Meh, he's good I guess. We may be engaged ut I don't feel much for him. I'm sure that feeling is mutual."
"Then do you have someone else in mind?"
"What?"
"I meant do you have someone you are interested in. Doesn't have to be romantic."
"Well actually there was a guy who was quite weird. He was so cute but his obsession with chicken put me off."
"He sounds nice."
"He was cool. Got me out of a bad situation."
"He does sound cool."
"Yeah, hehe. But he is Ryuko's fiance."
"Oh yeah?"
"But she clearly hates him."
"Isn't that funny?"
"What funny?"
"You both are going to be married to someone you don't like."
"It's not funny. It's depressing."
"I thought the same thing before."
"Huh?"
"You see, Enji and I didn't fall in love at first. We were in an arranged marriage."
"Seriously?"
"Uh huh. He tried to act all tough and mean and like a bad guy so that they could call off the wedding. Because... there was someone else I liked."
"Woah are you serious?"
"Enji knew and tried to get the wedding cancelled. But I didn't know that at first. So I got mad at him and left with my first love. We stayed together for a while. Before he cheated."
"Oof."
"I didn't know what to do. And also I was... I went back home and Enji was the one to comfort me. That's when I learned what he is really like."
"So beautiful."
"He was so sweet, caring, kind and he became a great father."
"How romantic."
"All our kids look up to him and respect him."
"How many kids do you have?"
"Hm? Oh, I have 5."
"Really? Cool."
"Well anyways, enough about me. Tell me about this guy you mentioned."
"Oh wow! Look at the time! I'd better go now!" I said standing.
"Oh already?"
"Yeah. I'll make sure you get home. Then I'll be off too."
I don't like talking about myself that much. Unless someone asks me how I get my skin so smooth or why I look so young despite being 27 years young I won't talk about myself.
I dropped Rei off at home and then ran like my life depended on it. Which it did.
When I arrived home, guess who was standing at the front door?
Ding dong you're wrong!

"Chicken? What are you doing here?"
"Eh, can't a guy come see a gal without having to explain?"
"Depends on what he is gonna do with the gal."
"Woah calm down Bunny, I just wanted to take you out."
"No one can take out this chick!"
"Not that kinda take out, you idiot. I meant "out" as in like a... date. A friendly date."
"A friendly date?"
"Yup! Let's go. There's a cool restaurant that does like the best cheesecake in the town. And they do chicken so that is great."I didn't even get a chance to respond! But I guess I just gotta go with it. Not like I can go inside anyway.
