I just remembered something.
You capitalize 'Mom' and 'Dad' only when you're adressing them and using the words as names, correct? Like, "Hey, Mom is great!" or "Hey, my mom is great!"
So.
So...
Would 'Son' be the same way?
"Come here, Son!"
"Come here, my son!"
