Nakita ko kung paano binangga ng truck yung kotse ni Bea. Kung kaya't nagpaikot ikot ito sa daan. Samantalang agad agad naman umalis ang truck.
I didn't even get the plate number. I even saw a glimpse of a hand holding a gun pointing at Isabel. Kung siguro di lang ako sumigaw baka wala na si Bea.
Nandito kami ngayon sa emergency room. There's a lot of glasses that shattered around her face. Buti na lang she's wearing her seatbelts kaya gumana din yung airbag niya. But she still got a lot of cuts in her face.
I'm still waiting outside. Wala pa din sina Kuya Loel.
"Thirdy!" Bianca
"What happened to Bea?" Loel
"Nakaliko na ako kung saan dumaan si Bea. Kasi nagshortcut siya dun sa daan na wala masyadong tao. May dumanas na truck sa sasakyan niya at umalis. There's a gun pointing at Bea's direction kung di ko lang binilisan pag papatakbo sa kotse ko, hindi ko alam kung mapapatawad ko pa sarili ko." Thirdy
"Nakuha mo ba yung plate number?" Loel
"Hindi Kuya, sorry." Thirdy
"It's okay let's leave it to the police. Did you gave your statement na ba?" Loel
"Hindi pa kuya." Thirdy
"Saan ba galing si Beatriz?" Bianca
"I don't know. As soon as I heard that Nico knows, pinauwi ko na agad siya." Loel
Lumabas naman ang doctor sa emergency room.
"Doc how's my sister?" Loel
"She's stable now. Let's just wait for her to wake up. Her brain is the most affected in this accident. Let's pray and hope na walang serious damage. Maiwan ko na kayo." Dr. Torres
"Thank you Doc." Loel
"Good thing you saw and brought her earlier. Kung hindi baka kung ano nang nagawa ko." Loel
"Buti na lang talaga. Minutes apart. By the way Kuya Loel bakit mo ako pinapapunta nga pala sayo kanina?" Thirdy
"We need to increase the security and also double time to find Miguel. Nico already knows that Bea is alive. An informant from Paris said someone is looking for a trail of Bea. That's why he's gone for two weeks. And I think he got the idea that Bea is alive." Loel
"What are we going to do?" Thirdy
"We need Bea, we need her to recover fast. Then I'll tell her everything." Loel
"Everything? Even Jho?" Bianca
"We need to, it's her time to fight again for their fate." Loel
"Pero paano yun? Engage na si Jhoana kay Nico. And would she even consider Isabel? And would Isabel want her back." Bianca
"There's a possibility, lalo na they've been hanging out everyday." Thirdy

"I think they had a dare na they'll hangout for two weeks, for old times sake. And I think this is the last day. Which mean, it's connected with Nico. Nico's back..." Bianca

I'm currently cleaning my mess. I broke a glass a while ago. Which is making me anxious feeling ko may masamang nangyari.
I've been texting Bea, I told her to text me when she got home pero wala pa din. Nico's been calling me din pero I haven't picked up his call, di ko alam ang sasabihin.
I'm waiting for Ate Ells who's been saying for thirty minutes now na she's on her way.
I texted Deanna and Ate Ly if they got hold of Bea now. But hindi din daw nila macontact.
I tried contacting Thirdy pero hindi sumasagot. Nakakahiya namang tawagan si Bianca dahil hindi kami close.
Then I heard a doorbell.
"Hoy Picasso, ano na? Mukhang kanina ka pa di mapakali." Ate Ella
"Kanina ko pa kasi tinatawagan si Bea, hindi sumasagot maski sa text." Jhoana
"Bakla kalma ka nga, magkasama lang kayo kanina diba? Baka naman busy pa magdrive. Don't panic. Tawagan mo si Thirdy." Ate Ella
"Hindi nga din nasagot Ate Ells. Kinakabahan ako." Jhoana
"Wag kang kabhan masamang damo yon." Ate Ells
"Ihhh Ate Ells naman." Jhoana
"Ikaw Jhoana Louisse hindi na kita maintindihan ha! You're always insisting na you're engaged already pero ano to? Ikaw babatukan na kita. Ano bang gusto mo?" Ate Ells
"Donya... for two weeks I've been battling with myself. Sinasabi ko sa sarili ko na hindi na pwede. I already have a ring on my finger." Jhoana

"Mahal ko pa din talaga... pero... paano naman si Nico ate?" Jhoana
"Have you asked yourself, paano ka? Paano si Bea?" Ate Ella
"Iyun na nga ang problema Ate Ells. Things are really complicated. I want to be with Bea, that's for sure. Pero natatakot ako sa consequences kapag nakasakit ako ng ibang tao. I really want to love her, like I'll give my all. Eto na yung second chance na hiningi ko. She's back, pero sa pagkakataon naman na ito, may Nico na naman ako. Ang tanga tanga ko Ate Ells. Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin." Jhoana
"Jho, pinapahirapan mo yung sarili mo. Alam mo ang sagot pero natatakot ka. Kasi deep inside you know, that there's a possibility that Nico can do something." Ate Ells
"He would never do that, I know him. At saka, she may think me as a bestfriend just like before." Jhoana
"What if her memories are back? What are you gonna do about it?" Ate Ells
"Hindi ko na alam." Jhoana
"Think of it. Would she run back to you? Or would she free herself from you? All the pain since the accident. If that was me, I'd be really exhausted. Pero I think, she would never give up on you. Kilala mo si Bea, never ka niyang niletgo. Kahit sobrang sakit na. At alam mo yan even in her remaining days. She would always choose you. Sana this time Jhoana, piliin mo naman siya." Ate Ella

"Go to sleep, we'll figure something out tomorrow, may trabaho pa tayo ng 1pm." Ate Ella

Morning came as I checked my phone wala man lang reply si Bea nor missed call.
I went up from my bed and took a bath.
I received a morning message from Nico.
"Good morning love, can I fetch you today going to your work? I miss you." Nico
I composed,
"Good morning love, I'll ask Sir Kudo muna about it. Baka kasi ayaw ng client magpapunta ng ibang tao sa site. Where are you? I miss you too." Jhoana
"Open up, I'm outside your door." Nico
I immediately run to my door to open it.
"Hi love! Namiss kita!" Nico
"I missed you too." Jhoana
"Sorry ah, I've been busy for two weeks. Ang hirap itrack down yung client namin. Buti na lang I finished it last night before going home." Nico
"Talaga? Congrats Love!" Jhoana
"And now my whole attention is only yours na." Nico
"Naks bawing bawi ah." Jhoana
"Syempre naman, ang hirap kaya mawalay sayo ng two weeks. Halika na kain na tayo, I bought your favorite tapsilog." Nico
"Thanks Love, tara let's eat." Jhoana
"So how's your two weeks? Did you have fun ba?" Nico
"Fun? What do you mean?" Jhoana
"Fun at work?" Nico
"Uhm sakto lang, daming tinatapos at hinahabol na deadlines. Pero all is well naman, masaya kateam ko mga former ALE." Jhoana
"Talaga? Interesting... sino cliente niyo?" Nico
"Big client lang ni Sir Kudo." Jhoana
"Ahh. Ang saya naman non magkakawork kayo. I guess you really enjoyed your two weeks without me." Nico
"Huy ano ka ba! Hahahaha things are not the same when you're not here ano. Namiss kaya kita." Jhoana
"Talaga?" Nico
"Syempre naman!" Jhoana
"Then can you cancel your work today?" Nico
"Hahahahaha that was smooth ha! May hinahabol kaming deadline. But I'll try to ask my boss kung pwede ako magleave bukas. How about that?" Jhoana
"Di ba pwede today? Huhuhu" Nico
"Boss kinda strict when it comes to the project eh. Pero I'll try to ask after I finish eating." Jhoana
Paano ba to? Hindi naman talaga niya ako pwede ihatid kasi baka magkita sila ni Bea. Tapos di din naman ako pwede umabsent dahil ayoko lang. And Bea's still not responding to my messages.
I was busy eating, when my phone rang.
Deanna Wong calling....
"Hello Deanns what's up?" Jhoana
"Good morning Ate Jho, we need to be at Boss' office by 10pm. Quick meeting daw." Deanna
"Ha? Bakit napaagap?" Jhoana
"Sabi lang ni Boss Thirds." Deanna
"Sige. I'll see you there." Jhoana
"Sinong tumawag love?" Nico
"Ah si Deanna, sinabi lang na kelangan kong pumuntang office by 10 pm." Jhoana
"Ohhh. It's already 8:30. Hatid na ba kita? San office mo?" Nico
"Di na love. Dadalhin ko kotse ko just in case kelangan namin dumiretso sa site. I'm going to text or call you na lang ha." Jhoana
"Oh okay. Love you." Nico
I prepared my clothes and stuff for my work. Kasabay ko din naman siyang bumaba. Ayaw kong magstay siya don, he might find some evidence.
Ano ba yan i sound like I'm cheating.
Nagdrive naman na ako papuntang Lion X Machina. And of course Monday, traffic madness hay nako hassle.

"Stuck sa traffic Ate Ells sa EDSA pero pa-exit na din ako paputang Makati." Jhoana
"Okay drive safe. Nandito na ako sa conference room. Things kinds serious tho." Ate Ella

"Wow hahahahahaha. Brave ka girl?" Ate Ella
"Di nga? Nandiyan si Bea? Di pa din kasi nagpaparamdam simula kagabi." Jhoana
"Baka nilet go ka na. Kakapagod ka daw mahalin eh hahahaha joke." Ate Ella

"Kalma ka girl. Wala pa. sige na bilisan mo na." Ate Ella
Kung kaya ko lang palipadin mga kotse dito para walang traffic ginawa ko na.
I arrived at the parking lot 15 minutes before the meeting kaya agad agad akong tumakbo papunta sa elevator.
"Finally, ang tagal mo." Ate Ella
"Sorry sobrang traffic talaga. What's up?" Jhoana
"Tara pasok na tayo sa loob." Ate Ella
"Nandiyan na si Bea?" Jhoana
"Puro ka Bea, wala pa, tara na!" Ate Ella
"Is it bad to ask about Bea? I'm worried." Jhoana
Pumasok naman na kami sa loob. Everyone's quiet which seems odd.
Pumasok naman si Thirdy, Bianca and Kuya Loel.
"Good morning guys, sorry for late notice. So today, I'm gonna take over muna for Isabel. She's currently busy and cannot attend to your meetings. For weeks." Loel
"Weeks?" Jia
"Yes Ms. Morado" Thirdy
"Tentative date lang naman. Depende sa progress niya hopefully matapos niya agad. So for the mean time. Her resort is almost 3 months away from the deadline right. Are we still on track, Engr. Valdez?" Loel
"Yes. We're almost 60% in construction and we can meet the said deadline naman. I guess wala namang delay sa construction. Okay naman yung mga materials. So all good." Engr. Valdez
"Okay thanks, how about the furniture Ms. Morado and Ms. De Jesus?" Loel
"We're 50% finish na sa mga furnitures and other stuff for the resort. We hired a set of workers para double time." Ella
"Thank you." Loel
"Ms. Maraguinot, namemeet naman yung gustong design ni Isabel right? Okay naman ba lahat? Like all the details?" Loel
"Yes sir. Nagkaroon lang ng minor issues last week pero naayos na din naman." Jhoana
"Okay thanks." Loel
Then Kuya Loel's phone rang.
"Thirdy take over ka na muna. Bianca let's go." Kuya Loel
After lumabas ni Kuya Loel. Everyone sigh.
"wow grabe yung atmosphere ang bigat. I got chills." Ella
"Hahahaha ganyan lang talaga si Kuya Loel." Thirdy
"Asan si Bea?" Jhoana
"Uhmm. She's on a business trip right now in Europe, kaalis niya lang kagabi. It was really urgent so she had to fly to Italy." Thirdy
"So uhm. Everything's all good naman na ano. You can go anytime at the site, today. We all need to be there tomorrow. And uhm as Mr. De Leon said that, people who would be going to the site is very limited and stricted. Bawal daw muna ang outside people. Kahit closefriends or others. Strictly implemented by Mr. De Leon." Thirdy
"What do you mean?" Deanna
"We're just making some changes lang. Let's all follow na lang. Your loveones who went before at Bianca's resort can go but new people are not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation. Meeting dismissed." Thirdy
"Hey wait. Is there something wrong? Bakit biglang higpit ng protocol. Is there a problem?" Jia
"Oo nga." Alyssa
"Everything's fine. Ganyan lang talaga si Kuya Loel." Thirdy

"Yes Ate Ells." Thirdy
At umalis naman na agad si Thirdy leaving us all confused.

"Actually about that, kagabi pa nga daw di macontact ni Jhoana si Bea. You know after their hangout. Tapos all of the sudden may business trip and Kuya Loel's taking over." Ella
"Somethings's not adding up, seriously. Beatriz isn't hard to contact at all kahit nasaan man siyang bansa. Pero bakit ngayon parang blocked tayo." Jia
"Baka naman busy lang." Alyssa

"Duh ate ly, di ba obvious yun dun sa two weeks na magkasama sila palagi?" Deanna
"Sabagay... but it's really hard. Hirap ng sitwasyon niya sa totoo lang." Alyssa
"She should choose what makes her happy para walang regrets. If I were in her situation, I know to myself that the only thing that is tying me down on the other guy is the engagement, i need to call it off. Diba? Why would you be confuse right? Kung ako siya, si Bea pipiliin ko." Jia

A month has passed.
Jhoana
Isang buwan na ang nakakalipas, we're almost 65% done sa construction. We still have two months. Two more months before the deadline. Everyone's busy from the engineering department hanggang sa supplier namin.
One month and still wala pa ding balita kay Isabel. She hasn't contacted anyone. Kuya Loel and Thirdy is still in charge.
And I miss her. I really miss her.
A month feels like the five years that I lost with her. Hindi niya ba kami naalala? Sobrang busy niya ba sa Italy kaya di niya man lang kami magawang tawagan or imessage man lang.
Everytime we ask Kuya Loel or Thirdy about it laging sinasabi na busy ka lang din.
I really miss her, I swear.
It's friday today. Last day of the month. So it's celebration day. It's a routine dito sa work na to. Every end of the month, magcecelebrate kami. Kasi finally a progress ulit diba?
Katatapos lang ng meeting namin at ngayon we're on our way sa venue. I'm with Ate Ells and Deanna. Kuya Loel insisted on their house. Kaya doon kami papunta.
It's a 30 minute drive from the Lion X Machina. Convoy naman kami nina Ate Ly she's with Ate Den.
We parked our car. Nakakamiss naman tong bahay na to.
Nico called me to ask kung anong oras ako uuwi. I told him that I'll probably go home with Ate Ells which is I don't know what time. Hahahahahaha.
I need to have fun. Stressing about the wedding plus the constructions making me need a booze!!!
Yeah, we started talking about "THE WEDDING" I've been trying to avoid that topic since he went home. Kasi ewan ko, di pa ako handa?
Inintay naman namin yung iba na makapark bago kami pumasok. It's actually a fun night cause there are other people like our friends from Ateneo.
Pagpasok namin sinalubong kami ni Tita Det and Tito Elmer.
"Welcome back girls! Grabe ang tagal nating di nagkita ah." Tito Elmer
"Oo nga po Tito hahaha. Sorry naging busy po kami sa project." Alyssa

Dumating naman sina Thirdy with Jules and Ponggay. Tapos dumating pa ibang ALE at iba pang Ateneo friends namin.

"Yea it feels empty. Asan ba si Beatriz?" Maddie
"Still on a business trip ata. Wala kaming balita eh." Alyssa

Pumasok naman kami sa living room kasi nga magtotoast daw kami. And it's true, it feels so empty na wala dito si Bea.
"So uhm let me do the honor. So as assistant project manager ng resort ni Isabel, I am really happy and thankful sa progress na ginagawa nating project. Thankful ako sa Boss ko Kuya Loel and of course my OG Boss Isabel. Syempre sa mga tao behind the project Ate Ly, Ate Jia, Ate Ella, Deanns and of course one of the mastermind Jhoana! Thank you so much for being there. Life is hard when Bea's not around right?" Thirdy

We all went to the pool side to get some liquors. Time to unwind!

Hi! I know I'm a month gone. Well I woke up last week. Got discharged three days ago and now I'm on my full recovery. To give you some heads up, I'm okay, nothing's wrong with me.
And I'm back.
So now I'm just in my room. Well silently watching them having fun. It was my cue to go down when Thirdy was giving a speech but I was nervous so I texted him na mamaya na lang ako bababa.
That's why we got a celebration also. To celebrate my recovery which my friends don't know about. They already told me that everyone knew I was on a business trip.
I went down when everyone was having their liquor. Jules was the first one to see me so I signalled her to stay quiet.
I approach them and told to be quiet cause I'm about to surprise Jhoana.
I put my hand on her eyes to block her sight. Hahahaha! So they started to let Jhoana guess.
Nagdradrama pa yung mahal ko.

I immediately removed my hand in her eyes. And I can see she's crying.

Kumalas siya sa pagkakayakap sakin.

"No maybe I'm still drunk, this is my mind playing trick games on me." Jhoana
I kissed her on her forehead.
"Wake up Jhoana, you're not dreaming. I'm sorry if I haven't texted you or even call you. I can feel you're worried sick about me. And I'm sorry. Let me make it up to you please." Bea

I saw Selina clinging on Bea's arm. Ano ba yan para namang linta.

The night goes long and I'm on my third glass of cocktail. Ano ba naman yan di pa din ako tinatamaan. Sa kanya pa din, chos!
Kami kami na lang din naman nandito, umalis na din yung Basketball Team.

"Look Bea, those two weeks was really great. I love hanging out with you. And honestly I don't know why are you asking me this thing. So please go to sleep. I am already engaged, and you already know that." Jhoana
