There were two cats sitting together in StarClan, peering down at the lake and the dens full of sleeping cats. The lake was thawing, the worst of Leaf-Bare over, the grass was peeking through thin layers of snow. The trees were no longer completely bare, a few leaves had started growing back. You could now see faint shadows of the fish darting around the lake, their silhouettes dancing beneath the nearly full moon.

The starry warriors gazed down as a tortoiseshell she-cat stepped out of the queens den, her belly full of her unborn kits. Soon after, a yellow tom stepped out of the warriors den, his gaze searching until he found who he was looking for. He walked over to the she-cat and nuzzled her gently, and she leaned in. They sat beside the lake and breathed in the smell of the nearly breaking New-Leaf. They started chatting aimlessly, purring and mrowwing in laughter and contentment.

The two starry cats glanced at each other and the one on the left started talking, "Heatherleap, are you sure about this? This is such a harsh fate for an unborn kit, do you think she will be able to handle this?"

Heatherleap gazed back at the other, her gaze sure, "Yes, Rabbithaze, I'm positive. I know that she will do whatever she believes is right, no matter what. Please believe me when I tell you that she is the best suited for everything coming her way."

Rabbithaze sighs in defeat, "Ok, but if this it too much for her, don't say I didn't warn you." He stands up and walks away, his head held high. Heatherleap gives one last look at the couple, their eyes glowing in happiness, and nods, knowing that, no matter however difficult this path may be, that she is strong enough to bear it.
