(They are open at this time, I'll keep taking them until I get to many! But they're gonna be VERY LATE any day past the 26, cuz school 😭.
-Story Start!-
You where at your friend, Ishimaru-Kun house studying. Being your next door neighbor, and top of your class, you do that a lot.
"L/N-Chan! when was the last time you slept? I can see when you leave your light on you know."
You blinked, your eye lids being heavy.
"Good question!"
You looked back down at the book, your eye's not understanding the Kanji on the page. You knew that you should at least get some sleep. But living alone, it was hard not to stay up to ungodly hours of the night.
"I think like, I slept from 2-3:00 AM and then was on my phone all night. I only got maybe 30 minutes the night before too."
"What about Wednesday!"
He looked at you, his thick eye brows shifted into a weird mixture of disappointment and worry.
"None, not even a millisecond."
You let out a big yawn, making the book look like the scribbles of a drugged out maniac.
"Tuesday?!"
"10 minutes."
"Monday?"
"Ok, I think I got two hours of sleep on Monday. So all in all, 3 hours and 40 minutes."
"FOR THE WHOLE WEEK!"
You looked over at him, the bags under your eyes being your most defined feature.
"My record is the time I slept an hour during the entirety of the week before finals studying. But hey, I Aced them, so whatever."
You looked down at the book again, it didn't even look like scribbles anymore. It just looked like, lines.
"Why do I keep looking down at this book, I've only read Kanji for my whole life. But I decided to not sleep for a whole week, and suddenly. My native language looks like a druggies scribbles."
Ishimaru-Kun face palmed so hard you swore he would bruise himself.
"Maybe, you should get some sleep!"
You looked over to him, and blinked.
"Don't face palm yourself so hard! I know how easily you bruise...."
He closed the book in front of you.
"Then get some sleep, AND I don't bruise that easily."
"You barely bumped into the wall and had a bruise the size of-"
"Sorry! I can't here you! I'll be able to if you sleep!"
He walked out of the room, closing the door and turning off the lights.
"Now that I think about it....... that does sound-"
You fell asleep before you could finish your thought. Falling asleep at his desk, which had become comfy from your school naps.
You woke up, a blanket covering you.
"What time is it?"
You sat up and checked your phone.
"Oh 6:49- WAIT 6:49!"
You got here at 3:00! You got up, and opened the door.
"Welcome back L/N-Chan!"
You blinked and rubbed your eyes.
"Man, who knew sleep made your eye lids light."
"When was the last time you got sleep?"
"Ughhh, maybe.... our last break."
He looked at you, wanting to give you a stern talking. But deciding to hold his tongue.
"Are you hungry? You never bring anything for lunch, why is that?
You darted your eyes away. You just, didn't like eating in front of people. It made you anxious, you didn't know why.
"Did I say something! I'm so sorry!"
You, in an instant, gave yourself a relaxed smile.
"Oh, it's fine. If I'm being honest I have an awful anxiety over eating in front of a lot people."
Your stomach growled though, you were really hungry.
"I can make some egg drop soup."
"Oh- no, I would feel bad eating your food. I know how little money your family has."
He gave you a look.
"But, someone's gonna eat it! We can just share!"
You where about to say no, it's fine. But he had all ready started making it.
"When was the last time you ate?"
"About, 5:00 AM."
"THAT LONG!"
"Yeah, I had some chips that were about to go stale. The bag was about, the size of my hand."
He looked at his soup, wondering how you had not passed out in the middle of the day.
"What about, a drink?"
"I chugged a bottle of water at like 8:00 AM."
He looked at you, leaving him with even more questions unanswered.
"How, did you not pass out?"
You looked back at him.
"That's a very, and I mean VERY good question."
He finished his soup a couple minutes later. And gave you some, with a small bowl of rice. You sat down at the table, thanked the rice farmers, and then started eating extremely fast.
"Hey, you're gonna choke!"
You swallowed the food in your mouth.
"Hey, I'm hungry!"
"Then maybe, you should eat more!"
You sighed, not having a rebuttal, and started eating slower.
You finished eating, and looked at your phone.
"It's 9:00 I should get home."
You cleaned your dishes, thanked Ishimaru-Kun for the time, and went back home.
You looked at your mess of a house, well more of clutter.
"I think I'll pick this up tomorrow!"
You thought out loud while you walked to your bedroom to, for once in your life, get a good nights sleep.
