Hound:how can you be sure?
Bangalore:if those things really were down there then they've either rotted or been scrapped for parts. I doubt what they saw was as they said.
Y/n:sorry, what's going on? Why is hound looking like there about to blow up?
Bangalore:hunter over here says that there people in there old village might be in trouble.
Y/n:why? Usually villages like that are pretty remote. And I doubt someone would want to rob it or take it over.
Hound:true, but I've received a letter from the chief of the village. He said that his farmers heard strange noises coming from the trees, so he sent 10 hunters to investigate. Only two returned in a panic, continently screaming "metal giant!" "Metal giant!"
You were starting to catch on.
Y/n:metal giants huh?
You looked to Anita.
Y/n:that why you need us?
Hound:if there's anyone one this ship who knows these beasts it's the two of you, Your practically experts.
Bangalore:I told you there's no way any titans would be down there! And even if there are they ain't gonna be functional now.
Hound:I can't take that chance.
Y/n:she is kinda right though, even if there are a few old titans down there the parts and wording would've decayed by now without proper maintenance and cleaning.
Bangalore:plus...
She looked behind her towards the cameras set up across the ship.
Bangalore:Even if we wanted to help you...syndicates got this place on lockdown.
Hound:no doubt cause of the trouble you caused bolt.
Anita groaned.
Bangalore:they saw you dint they?
Hound:it was a good lie, anyone else might've fallen for it. I know your both hiding something, perhaps the other legends should know?
Y/n:don't!

Hound:then find us a way off this ship and to my village by tonight, otherwise you and the rest of the legends will be having a long chat.
They then walked back to there room to sharpen there axe as you and Anita gave a frustrated sigh.
Y/n:can't get a minutes piece huh?
To your surprise you saw her crack a smile.
Bangalore:ya think? Surprised your still kicking.

Y/n:I'm a soldier I get by, speaking of which how the hell do we get outta here without alerting the syndicate.

Anita was facepalming herself. With hound behind her. The three of you were hiding in the hanger surveying the guards surrounding the dropships.
Bangalore:this'll never work...
Y/n:shut up and let me listen!
Bangalore:there com tech is state of the art you'll never-

You put the old com unit you grabbed from the pilot a few months ago and plugged it into your helmet.
Grunt:echo 1-3 status report in the hanger.
Grunt2:1-3 here, all quiet so far.
Y/n:now hand me the detonator.
She shook her head and handed you the charge as you smiled with anticipation.
Bangalore:these guys are professionals they ain't gonna fall for the oldest trick in the book! It's dim witted!
Y/n:ahh but that's why it'll work!
You put your hand over the charge.

Hound:just how exactly will explosives help us escape discreetly-

One of the ships at the very end of the hanger exploded causing a massive part of the dropship to open.
Guard:Christ!!!
Guard2:I told them not to keep the gas and the grenades close to each other!!!!
They both continued to argue as they ran towards the explosion.
Hound:professionals you said?
Bangalore:can it and get on the ship!
The three of you quickly boarded the drop ship with you and bloodhound in the back while Anita piloted.
Bangalore:buckle up! Got a nasty storm coming in! You then felt the ship lift up and shoot off out of the hanger.
Timeskip.
Before you even knew it the village was in chaos hunters were scrambling to find weapons as farmers and other town folk scattered to there separate houses. Anita landed the dropship close by and hid it behind some trees. When you exited the three of you instantly jogged towards the chiefs house at the end of the village.
Y/n: Jesus hound your people always panic this much?
Hound:never, unless they find something they can't handle.
???:they have!
You looked up to see the villages chief walking down his steps.
Chief:and half of my hunters are now scared to even take a piss without an armed escort.
He looked at bloodhound and smirked.
Chief:so glad you could make it young one.
They gave a sarcastic scoff.
Hound:I'm still the young one?
Chief:in there eyes yes.
He gestured towards the farmers who were peeking out there windows to look at you.
Chief:they only see killers in both of yours.
Bangalore:well they ain't wrong about that.
Y/n:don't think that's a complement Anita.
Chief:but perhaps killers are what we need right now.
Y/n:yah we heard, these uhh...metal giants...they have any of these symbols on them?
Chief:yes, it was one of the few clear things my hunters could report.
Hound:where did these giants go?
He pointed towards the tree line.
Chief:just beyond there, one of them is said to be hiding in a cave.
Y/n:right then.
The three of you turned to leave.
Chief:just a moment! Your going alone?!
Hound:not to worry chief, by the time we return these "giants" will bother you no longer.
After that the three of you bolted into the tree line..
Bangalore:Christ how are we even gonna take ONE these things down?
Y/n:my guess? These are gen one titans.
Bangalore:you think so? That might help.
Hound:how? What difference dose it make?
Y/n:gen one titans have a hatch on the top of there chassis, if we can rip it out then we can just unload a full mag or two into the wiring and they'll collapse.
Bangalore:but getting on top of of the chassis is gonna take a jump kit...
Y/n:meaning I'll be the only one to take it down...shit!
Bangalore:well what about the-
Before she could finish she was cut off by stomping getting closer and closer.
Hound:it Approaches!
Y/n:quick! Hide!
You reached picked a separate tree as the massive titan walked by.
Y/n:(goddammit of course it's a ogre)
The despite its size the titan looked rusted and beat down. It wasn't nearly as intimidating as the other titans you've faced, but you still had to be careful. You turned on your coms and whispered.
Y/n:alright same plan I did with my old squad back in the war.
Hound:which is?
Y/n:one of us is used as bait while the other two jump on the back and blow it up...typically the fastest one.
Your squad was silent.
Hound:*sigh* very well.
Bangalore:hey it's your home.
Y/n:besides leave the destruction to the "experts" as you said.
This got a quiet chuckle out of Anita and a frustrated sigh out of hound.
Hound:at times I regret some of the decisions I make.
Bangalore:yah yah now get to running!
Y/n:hey, you trust me?
They were silent.
Y/n:answer the question hound.

Y/n:then get out there, I got your back.
Hound popped out of his hiding spot and shot at the ogre titan doing almost no damage. The titan turned and towered over them.
Hound:this is a terrible idea...
They bolted towards the closest tree line as the ogre followed them. You and Bangalore followed short as you quickly jumped on the back while Bangalore opened fire.
Hound:any time my friends!
You were trying your best to rip out the titans hatch but it wouldn't budge.
Bangalore:bolt bail out!
Y/n:I almost got it-
Bangalore:bolt run!!!
Y/n:why?!
You looked in front of you to see an atlas titan charging straight for you.
Y/n:aww hell!!!!
You quickly jumped out of the way as the two rusted titans collided.
Bangalore:I'm popping a smoke! Let's get the hell outta here!
Y/n:agreed!
Hound:ok!
The three of you tried your best to run away under the cover of Bangalore's smoke while the titans continued to swing at you.

The three of you sat on a tree stump with a few small wounds.
Bangalore:thought there was just gonna be one...we can't take on two titans of that size with out at least a few anti titan weapons...
Hound:we can't just leave my village to these beasts!
Bangalore:well we can't do shit without anti titan weapons...or a titan. It's hopeless.
You were rubbing your chin.
Y/n:maybe not...
They both looked at you.
Hound:what do you mean?
Bangalore:you know where to find anti titan weapons?
Y/n:something like that...
You shook your head.
Y/n:I can't...I promised I would never dig it up again. That it would stay buried In the past.
Hound:if you have a means of destroying these titans please explain.
You were silent as you frowned and shook your head.
Hound:I know you don't wish to bring up your past bolt, but this isn't your past these are real people were trying to save!
Bangalore:it probably ain't that simple...but nothin is when it comes to being a soldier...I'd know.
You nodded.
Y/n:goddammit what am i doing?
You thought about it...you could definitely use it in your fight against the syndicate.

Bangalore:were still in the middle of the woods Idiot.
Hound:this place is hardly on the maps-
Suddenly you stopped, you then started to jump in place as your squad heard a metal clanging noise every time you jumped. You knelt down and touched the massive metal hatch.
Y/n:I'm back buddy...
You then stood up.
Y/n:this hatch is massive, but there's a smaller door where hounds standing.
They looked down and dig some of the dirt way to reveal a smaller hatch made for people. The three of you entered and couldn't see a thing when you did.
Bangalore:what are you keeping in here? A dreadnaught?
You reached for the power switch on the left side of the room.
Y/n:I'm gonna need one of you to help me get him up and running again...he's been asleep for so long...

You flipped the switch as the lights turned on, Anita and hound froze as they say what was inside the massive room. You grabbed one of the spare battery's you had laying on the shelf's and plugged it into the contraption they were staring at. As it powered on you put your hand on its eye.
Bangalore:you probably shoulda been more specific...
Hound:by the gods...
Y/n:....it's good to see ya again buddy.
