*This was going to be a book that we wrote but it's not going to be one so do not ask for a book or a part 2 to this because we not doing it whatsoever*

Summer 2004

Giggles filled the room as Terrence tickled Taraji awake. "Staaaahhhhppp! I can't breathe Terrrrrry!" She screamed as she tried to pry his fingers from her body. "Wake up then," he growled in her ear. "Okay okay okay! I'm up I'm up! What do you want anyways?" She asked. "You." "You had some of me all night." "Mmhmm but I want some more before Cel wakes up," he voiced, kissing along her neck. It had been months into filming Hustle and Flow and the two found themselves unable to stop fooling around. At first Taraji turned him down time and time again. Maybe because he was cocky and arrogant. Maybe because all the women in the world fell for his hazel green eyes.

But one day she brought her son Marcel to set and the 10 year old grew attached to him fast. He begged daily if he could come to set to hang out with Terry. Which turned into inviting Terry to his games, then dinner. Then one night after a movie "date", Terrence carried a sleeping Marcel to his bedroom. Not knowing what came over her, she offered Terry a nightcap which turned into way more. When she woke up the next morning and looked to her left she couldn't help but to blush at the man next to her, his arm clutching her close to him. That day was 6 months ago and they were still pretty obsessed with each other.

"You're the one who told him that y'all were going to ride Go-Karts." "And we are. As soon as you ride daddy's dick," he growled, his member poking against her leg. She bit her lip before climbing on top of him. Pushing her hair to the side, she kept eye contact as she slowly wined her hips, enjoying the feeling of all 9 and a half inches of thickness in her heat. He hissed as she placed her hands on his chest. He pushed her hair behind her ear, pulling her down to his lips. Their tongues doing a passionate tango as Terry wrapped his hand around her body, taking control of the tempo. His stroke fast and powerful, knocking at her cervix.

She gasped, tucking her face in the side of his neck. Flipping then over without pulling out, Terry whispered in her ear as he kept touching earth shattering heights. "Terrrrrry.......yessss. I love you toooooooooo," she moaned out. He raised up, hovering over her, taking in her features. How was she so fucking beautiful? A ball of emotions spilled forth, Terry trying his hardest not to let them all show. He didn't know why she pulled the most vulnerable side of him out but he didn't care. This was the most at peace he had been in so long. He slowly pumped in and out of her, making sure she felt every inch of him.

Her mouth fell open as she let out silent cries. Her fingers locked behind his head, his fist buried above her shoulder as he dug deeper. Her legs fell open, her body taking all of his love, orgasms hitting her back to back. He reached down, holding one leg in his arm, her moans growing louder as he knocked on her cervix. "Daddy. I can't take anymore....." she whined, the tension in her stomach growing tougher. "Yes you can baby. Take daddy. Let me in baby," he voiced feeling her walls tighten on his member. Screams leaving her lips, Terry laid his body on her, latching onto her lips. Smothering her piercing cries.

Her juices spilled against his pelvis, her eyes rolling to the back of her head. Pulling out he flipped her over onto her stomach. He pushed her legs together, gripping her ass cheeks and spreading them apart. Straddling her legs, he lined up his member with her slit, teasing her as he bit his lip at the sight of her sticky nectar. She reached back, raking her nail down his leg, wanting him to stop playing. "Please daddy." He grinned hearing her beg. Pushing through her tight warm walls, he groaned pulling back and silently moaning at his shiny dick covered in her nut. Grabbing her shoulders, his hips rocked at a steady pace as she buried her face into the bed, muffling her moans.

He leaned down, nipping at her ear. She lifted her head, turning to the side to face. "Spread your legs baby," he growled in her ear, feeling his length being swallowed into her cave. She pushed herself up on her forearms, his lips inches from hers. They breathed each others air as he positioned himself in between her legs, wrapping his arm around her body. Her head dropped as she felt another mountain come to a peak. He sucked on her neck, the urge to release creeping up on him. "I love you Beloved. I'm so in love with you baby." "Daddy..... daddy...... I'm about to cum. Fuck!" She squealed, he hissed feeling her walls contracting and milking his orgasm harder than he was expecting.

Her pool overflowing, he had never been with a woman who was so wet. Catching their breaths, Terry casually let his hips pump into her as he peppered her back with kisses. "Mmmm babe..... why do you feel so fucking-" a gasp left her lips as she felt him grow hard again. For another hour, they drowned in ecstasy until they heard Marcel running to the bathroom. After getting in the shower, Terry went into the kitchen to make something to eat while Taraji finished getting dressed. "You think mom will let us go get some bbq?" Cel asked as he grabbed the orange juice. "Most likely. She been talking about wanting some pulled pork so we'll stop by when we're done. How about that?" Terrence asked, making a plate.

"Cool." Putting strawberries and sausage on Raji's plate, Cel froze. "MAAAAAAAA!" He yelled like a banshee. "BOY IF YOU DON'T SHUT THE HELL UP YELLING IN MY HOUSE! I'M COMING!" Terry couldn't help but to laugh as he put the plates on the table. "I'll go get her. Start eating," he said, going upstairs. Opening the bedroom door he noticed the bathroom light on. "Beloved? Are you okay?" He asked, lightly tapping on the door. Hearing her unlock the door he took a step back for her to come out. "What's-" he stopped midsentence seeing something in her hand. Flipping it over she looked at him with scared eyes. "I'm pregnant."

February 2017

Taraji sat at her vanity staring at herself in the mirror. She didn't want to get up. She didn't want to get dressed. She didn't want to go to work and face the man she has loved since 2004. Pulling out her makeup she sighed as she started the process of covering up the hand print around her neck. She didn't understand how her life went from happiness to depression and fear. She didn't know why it was so hard for her to escape that. Never had she felt so down in the dumps but everyday she had to put on that signature smile. She was at the top of her game. Her career was on fire and she didn't want anything jeopardizing that.

"Cairo!" She yelled out once she blended in her foundation making it look natural. "Yes mama," the almost 12 year old boy answered as he walked into her room. "You're going with your dad today. Can you get your sister's backpack together please?" Looking at her with concern, Cairo couldn't help but to pull more of Taraji's guilt out. Sometimes she couldn't look him in the face. Those undeniable eyes of his father. "Can we all just go on a trip for the weekend?" He asked desperately wanting his mother to get out of the house. "Not right now baby. Spring break is coming soon so we can go somewhere that week okay?"

He glared for a second before stating his requirements. "No Kelvin! Just you, me, Nola, Cel, Aunt April and dad. I'm serious mom." She let out a sigh. There was no way in hell Kelvin was going to let her leave with Terrence. Family trip or not. He was still flipping shit about the trip she took with him to South Africa and that was a strictly business trip. At least that's what she told him. "Okay baby. I'll work it out. Now go get yours and your sister's things together." He rushed over, giving her a bear hug before doing as he was told. As he stepped into the hallway he heard the front door open and shut, Kelvin running up the stairs.

"Sup Ro," Kelvin said, patting his head like a damn dog. "Don't touch me," Cairo growled. Kelvin brushed it off with a scoff. He found it funny how Cairo mimicked Terry's attitude. "RoRo! Can you help me!" Terrence and Taraji's 5 year old daughter Nola called out. As soon as Kelvin went into the room with Taraji, Cairo spun on his heels to help his sister. "Good morning beautiful," Kelvin voiced, leaving in to place a kiss on Raji's cheek. She pulled back, not wanting his lips on her. After the uprising the night before, he left and went God knows only to show up this morning like nothing even happened.

"These are for you. I want to apologize for yesterday. I didn't mean any of that. I just been a bit stressed lately." He held out some roses, not expecting her to ignore them. "And you don't think I'm stressed?" She said, tossing the flowers in the trash. He hissed seeing her toss away his olive branch. "I'm trying to be nice to you." "Is that what you call leaving bruises on me? That's you being nice? Damn I don't wanna see you mean then," she spat not expecting him to grip her hair, fixing her to look up at him. "Let me go-" "Shut up!! Always got something to say! Why you can't never take the gift I'm giving you. Huh!" She jumped as he barked at her. Praying she wouldn't have to cover up anymore marks.

"I don't want to do this okay. I don't want to be that man and I'm sorry. I'll go get some help but I need you to work with me. Please baby. I'm trying. Can you work with me?" She silently nodded. Letting out a breath when he finally let her go. She dazed off as he got undressed and told her how he would be home a little late. Not realizing she had pulled out her phone and text Tim about a little change that she needed to make. "Mmhmm. I have to get to work." "Is Nola staying with me?" He asked before getting in the shower. "No," she plainly answered not turning around to face him. She never trusted him with her daughter after an argument. She wasn't about to change that now.

"Mommy!" Nola called out jumping up for Taraji to catch her. "Hi baby. Are you ready Ro?" "Yes ma'am. I made you something to eat. You didn't eat yesterday," he told her. She pulled him in for a hug, kissing his forehead. "Come on. Don't want to be late." On the ride to set, Raji fidgeted as she thought of the lie she would tell if someone noticed the mark. God she didn't want to see Terry. She hated seeing him after something happened. It fed her depression knowing that she passed up on a real relationship time and time again. It was eating her up inside especially when she looked at her beautiful blessings.

Getting out of the car, Cairo walked up to his mother. "Why won't you tell dad?" He asked. "Because what goes on at home is not your father's business. Nothing is wrong baby. I promise. It was just an argument. That's all. There's nothing to tell," she lied through her teeth, looking Cairo in the eyes. "But mom-" "Ro....... I'm fine baby. Stop worrying okay." "Yes ma'am," he said barely above a whisper. "I wanna go see daddy," Nola voiced. "Okay Nola darling. Let's go see if he's here yet." Opening the door to Terry's trailer, Raji prayed that he wasn't there. "Daddy!!!" Nola screamed rushing over to Terry.

"Hey Princess Nola. You're coming home with me today?" "Uh huh. Mama said the whole weekend. Can we make a sundae?" "You know we can. Go watch a movie while I talk to your mama for a second," he said as he put her down. Getting a hug from Cairo, Terry took a good look at Taraji. Something was off. He couldn't tell what it was but something was dimming her light. "I thought you were going to see your mom this weekend and wanted to take them," he asked, her eyes low and heavy. She needed some rest. There was no way she could go see her mom and have her not put 2 and 2 together.

"Yeah but she's flying out to Mexico. Valentine's trip. Greg planned a 2 week celebration." "Oh okay. Are you sure you want them with me?" "Yeah. I could use a little me time you know. Pamper myself," she said with a half smile. "Alright. I'll bring them back Monday." She nodded before turning around. Picking up on her demeanor he made a mental note to try and find out if something was going on later. "What y'all want to do this weekend!?" Taraji heard before heading to hair and makeup. "Morning TJ," Ashunta voiced, not getting a response as Taraji sat in her chair. "Taraji? Are you good?" "I'm just tired. I'm going to sleep for a little bit."

"Okay. Let's see what look we're going for today." Raji closed her eyes, still hearing conversations in the background. That didn't bother her too much. She didn't plan to get much sleep anyways, if any at all. Hearing someone ask about inducing labor, Raji's mind wondered back to a time she wished she hadn't take for granted.

May 2005

The day drug on as Terry rubbed Taraji's feet. She was nothing but baby and she was exhausted. She had done just about everything to go into labor. She walked. She went up and down stairs. She drank castor oil. She ate spicy food. She ate pineapples. She drank tea. She took warm baths. The only thing she had left was sex. Her body felt so heavy at this point and sex was the farthest thing in her mind. "Just relax Beloved. He's going to come." "That's easy for you to say. You haven't gained 35 pounds or carrying a watermelon 24/7. Come outtttttttt," she whined as she poked her belly.

"Egypt wasn't built in a day." "I believe it's Rome." "I was thinking more like Cairo," he tossed out catching her attention. "Huh?" "Cairo Alexander Howard," he stated watching her expression soften. She mouthed the name looking the ring to it. "It's unique and cute. What do you think? You like that name?" She asked rubbing her belly. Getting a hard kick she gasped. "That's a yes." "That is a yes," she giggled as Terrence jumped up, kissing her lips. He pulled back, biting his lip as he looked her deep in the eyes. "I love you," he voiced softly. "You're just saying that because I ended up pregnant."

She turned to look away but he cupped her face. "No I'm not. I'm saying it because I. Love. You. We didn't expect things to be this way but I don't care. We're together right now and our boy will be here soon. You've made me so happy." She looked down, placing a hand on her belly. This wasn't how she wanted to jump into a serious relationship. She didn't plan a baby. She didn't plan to be with a co-star. Terrence had 3 kids with Lori and after his daughter Heaven and Marcel became best friends, a red flag was raised with Lori and Taraji wasn't for the drama. Things didn't get any better when she got wind that Taraji was pregnant and it really was Terry's baby.

"What about-" "Don't worry about anything or anybody. Focus on us. Do you love me?" He asked. She looked up at his hazel eyes. They were so light as he looked so vulnerable. "I do. I can't lie and say I don't." "I don't want you to. I don't ever want you to feel like you have to lie or hide anything ever in this life. Not from me." Still hovering over her, he wasn't expecting her to pull him by the shirt on the bed next to her. Sitting up on his forearm he pecked her lips. "Let me try something," he said, jumping up to lock the door. He climbed back into bed, opening her legs. "Terry I'm too tired to be putting effort into sex." "I'm not asking you to do anything. Hush and let my hands...... and tongue work their magic."

She giggled as he pulled her closer to him. "It's not going to.........." his tongue latching onto her bean shutting her up quickly. "I said let me work," he spoke with her clit still attached to his tongue. The sound of him slurping her juices as he flickered across her super sensitive clit, sending chills up her spine. She gasped lightly, he gripped her by the thighs making sure she didn't try to scoot back. "Daddy." "Relax baby. Let it go," he voiced up to her. His long arms reaching up and softly twisting and pulling her nipples. She whimpered feeling a wave of heat take over her body. A moan slithered off her tongue as she released.

Terry hummed as he cleaned up every last drop before coming up to her lips, letting her taste her sweet nectar. He ran his hands down to her pearl, strumming it like the perfect melody as he latched onto her engorged titties. She hissed before purring, her hands raking his scalp. "Mmhmm.... shit daddy yesssssss," she cried feeling another orgasm brewing. He switched breasts, making sure to stimulate her entire body. A slur of curse words fell from her lips as her eyes rolled back, a light tremor came over her body. While she laid in bed trying to calm down, Terry ran a bath for her. Helping her up, Terry walked behind her, taking the oversized t-shirt off of her.

Thirty minutes in the lavender bubble bath had her feeling like she was floating. She felt like she couldn't get any more relaxed than she was. She yawned, signaling Terry to get her out before she passed smooth out for the night. As soon as both of her feet touched the ground outside of the tub she felt something wet run down her leg. "Terry...I think you did it." She said in a shocked and shaky voice. He turned and seen that she was officially in labor as she stood in total disgust feeling her mucus plug on her skin. He grabbed her towel cleaning the mess off of her before helping her get to the bed.

"The bag is by the door. Be still while I grab you something to put on," he told her finding her one of her maxi dresses. She put on her house shoes and stood up slowly. "You want me to call your mom?" "After. I don't want her having Cel extra excited or extra scared when she tells him. Oooooooooooh wait. Wheeeeewwwww!" She groaned feeling the first hard contraction hit. Terry glanced at the time making a mental note. She let out a deep breath once it had passed. The 5 minutes it took to get to the car seemed to go by quickly. Another contraction hitting as soon as she got in the car. Terry hurried up to the driver's side, tossing her bag in the backseat.

"He's coming quick," she told him, taking deep steady breaths. "You wanted him out already. He's coming. Let's see if he'll wait until we get to the hospital," Terry said, giving her his hand to squeeze as he drove. She said a silent prayer when she wasn't fighting to scream bloody murder. The hospital came into view when she let out a shriek. "What's wrong baby?" "I feel him. I think I need to push," she spat. Pulling up to the emergency room door, Terry blew the horn a couple times before rushing to the passenger side, pulling her dress up to see if their son was rushing to be seen. Nurses and doctors rushed outside to help when they seen what Terry saw.

"Hi Ms Henson. You're crowning but we want you to get out of the car and onto the gurney. We're going to help you. Let us know if you need us to slow down okay?" The doctor explained. She nodded, still holding Terry's hand. "1, 2, 3," they counted, moving her legs outside the car. She groaned loudly at how uncomfortable she was. With another countdown, they got her to stand outside the car, leaning on the gurney. "Give me....one second. Just one second," she voiced through heavy breathing. Terry rubbed her back, reassuring her that things were looking good. "I gotta...", a piercing scream echoed in everyone's ears as she felt another powerful contraction come.

While everyone was focused on keeping her from hitting ground, Terry kept an eye down south, seeing the baby practically sliding out as she pushed through the pain. "Oh my god!" A nurse screamed seeing Terry swiftly grab the newborn before he hit the ground. A nurse quickly covered up Taraji as she slowly got on the gurney, making sure not to hit or tug at the umbilical cord. "Him said he was ready to see this world," the nurse voiced. Much to everyone's surprise, Cairo didn't cry. He just stared at his mother, entranced. "You are so perfect. Yes you are. Handsome just like your daddy and brothers," Raji voiced as his tiny hand wrapped around her finger.

After cutting the cord and getting him and Taraji cleaned up, Terry gave Taraji her phone, both calling their mothers. "Yeah mama. He's beautiful," Terry beamed as he held his son. "He has Terry's eyes. Is that Cel shouting?" Raji asked hearing someone very excited in the background. "Tell him to calm down. I can't believe he's that excited." "I told him we would come up there in the morning and he's too excited to sit down," Bernice explained. Cel grabbed the phone from Bernice wanting to say something to his mother. "Ma! Are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?" "He did but I'm okay. Can you chill out so your grandma can have some peace of mind?"

"Yes ma'am. Thanks for giving me a brother. I'm going to go to bed. I love you. Tell Pops Tee I said night," Cel rushed out. After saying I love you back, Raji heard Bernice hum in a questioning tone. "Pops?" "Yes mama. Please don't make it an issue. Terry is the first man that Cel has opened up to. He looks up to him," Taraji defended. Part of the reason she even gave Terry a chance was because of how he was with Cel even when his kids were around. He didn't treat him like he was an outsider. "I wasn't going to say anything. Just that I think this is good for Marcel. He hasn't smiled like this in a long time." "He really hasn't. Mama I'm so scared," she whispered.

"About what?" "What if things become different because we're together? What if my career ends before it begins? What if-" "Baby stop that. You can't live on the what ifs. You're happy. Marcel is happy. You just had another baby boy. Where does the doubt lie?" Bernice asked. "I don't know. I just...... mama you know I worked so hard. I don't want everything tossed away because I made a mistake." "Do you really think you made a mistake? Look that man in the eyes and answer that question for yourself. Stop looking for a reason to not have happiness." The next month, Taraji stayed awake an entire night. When Terrence woke up, she told him that she needed some time to think things through and that maybe he should go home to his family. Cutting off all communication that did not involve Cairo, Terry eventually remarried Lori later that year. The first moment of regret sank into Raji's chest.

*Present Time*

"Raji..... Taraji!" Ashunta called out. Raji opened her eyes, staring at her friend. "What's wrong? You started crying. Are you okay?" Shunta questioned, wiping the tears away with a tissue. "Just something scary and sad popped into my head. That's all. I'm okay." "What could've popped in your head to make you cry? That's like you seeing something die and your body just takes over your emotions. "I did see something die but I'm okay. I promise I'm okay," she lied putting on that smile. Ashunta pursed her lips as she shook her head. She'd put Jussie on duty to pull Raji out of her funk. When she got done with makeup, Raji went to check on her babies before heading to set.

"Mommy can we give daddy a picture from our photo shoot?" Nola asked, bouncing with excitement. "I don't have any right now baby. They're at the house." "I have one in my pack pack!" She spilled out, rushing to her backpack. She started tossing things out left and right. "Nola baby. Don't pull everything out right now. We'll look for it later okay?" Terry voiced, not wanting anything to be left in the trailer. She nodded, SpongeBob playing catching her attention. "Are we due on set yet?" Terry asked, seeing her dressed and ready. "I am. I'm not sure if you are," she said, avoiding eye contact. "Why are you hiding from me?"

"Ain't nobody hiding from you Terrence! You're not due on set! Stop acting like something more is going on. I just wanted to make sure they were good. Damn!" She snapped before rushing out of the trailer. Terry wanted to chase her but he didn't want a commotion. "Has your mama been okay?" He asked Cairo. "She says she's fine but.... she's not happy lately," Cairo confessed, sending Terry a red flag. What was going on in the house? Going through the day, Terry kept his distance but kept an eye on Taraji. He noticed the dark cloud around her. Even Jussie couldn't put a smile on her face and those two were always joking around.

As everyone left set, he noticed how quickly she got her things and told the kids bye. What was he supposed to do to help when she wouldn't tell him what was wrong? She got in the car, calling Tim to let him know she was on the way. "Why you need such a big change TJ? What's going on?" Tim asked. When she sent him a text he instantly started to worry. It wasn't everyday you get asked to do something so drastic by someone who absolutely loved her hair. "I'm just not happy with the way it is these days. I need to start over. A little reboot." "Mmhmm. Imma need you to look me in the eyes when you get here because no."

Taraji groaned as she took her exit. "Fine. I'll be there in 5," she said hanging up. Why he didn't believe that she really wanted this change, she'd never know. Getting to his penthouse, she looked in the mirror making sure the bruise on her neck was still hidden. Once she was in the clear, she went to Tim's penthouse. He opened the door his lips pursed while she walked in. She put her purse down and sat down in the chair. "I'm going to ask one last time...... Are you sure this is what you want?" He asked, looking her square in the face through the mirror. She let out a deep breathe before opening her mouth. "Cut it off."

Later that night

Raji sat in the bath tub, candles lit with a peppermint shea butter bath bomb relaxing her mental. She had Insatiable by Prince playing lowly as she closed her eyes. Peace and quiet was all she wanted. She didn't want any kids calling her name. She didn't want Kelvin up her ass and stalking her texts. She just wanted to be free and relaxed. Her mind wandering back down memory lane to a time when she had a man who would take the kids out the house so she could have me time. Maybe that was the problem. She didn't have a man. Here she was 46 years old and entertaining a possessive 34 year old steroid addict.

When she learned his age she initially was against it but after talking to some friends she figured why not have some fun. Fun turned into a relationship which turned into a committed relationship that now had her fearing for the remainder of her sanity and her life. The more she thought about it the more she tried to come up with reasons why she stayed. "Who would want you now huh? 46. Probably menopausal. You're washed up. Going to be a damn cougar at this point. Why didn't you put your pride aside? He loved you. He really loved you and you blew it," she cried to herself as she thought about Terry once again.

As much as she tried to deny how much she wanted Terrence, he was one person she couldn't get enough of no matter what. She felt bad for snapping at him earlier but she didn't know what else to do without crying, confessing feelings, or just attacking his lips. As the song kept playing, she drifted back to all the fun times with Terry. Specifically to the thousand times they had sex over the years. A feeling coming over her as she rubbed her thighs together. She ran her hands over her breasts, her nipples hard and sensitive. Vivid memories replaying in her mind as she started toying with her bundle of nerves.

Little whimpers echoed in the bathroom as she got lost in her own world, hearing nothing above the music playing. The front door opened, Kelvin coming home from his last baby mama's house. He looked in the kitchen seeing nothing but an empty wine bottle on the counter. Why the fuck was there never any food cooked? "Raji! Where you at!?" He yelled through the house getting no answer. Running upstairs he opened the bedroom door, the glow from the candlelight in the bathroom under the door. Twisting the door handle slowly he peeked inside, her moans turning him on. It had been a minute since she was in the mood so to catch her pleasing herself gave him hope.

He bit his lips before opening the door all the way open. He froze when he noticed the newest hairstyle she was sporting, his dick going soft instantly. "What the fuck!?" He snapped, interrupting her building orgasm. "Why are you watching me!?" She yelled, startled by him being such a creep. "What you do to your hair huh? You always doing some shit! What made you think I would like this shit!?" He barked. "Everything is not about you," she voiced, blowing the candles out and letting the water out of the tub. "Oh really? So then tell me who else would have you aching to be touched if not me?"

She looked up at him, knowing better than. To answer that with the truth. "Don't act shy now. I heard you. Now answer my question. The fuck you do to your hair!?" "I cut it." Turning the light on, Kelving watched her get out the tub and dry herself off. Everything he felt was wrong about her, he noted in his mind, her short natural curls being number one on the list. "You starting to make me think that you don't know who runs this house." She closed her eyes and scoffed. "The person who pays the bills would be the boss and last time I checked that person was me." He grabbed her by the arm, tightening his grip.

She pried at his fingers, trying to free herself from his hold. "Get off! You're hurting my arm!" "And you are trying to hurt my pride which I do not take lightly. Apologize." "Fuck you!" She spewed, using all her strength to push his thumb back. "I said apologize!! Now!!" "And I said Fuck. You!" A backhand met her face, knocking her on the bed. She stood up, her chek stinging with heat from the impact. She kicked him in the balls before attempting to run out the room but he grabbed her by the ankle, making her fall to the ground. Pulling her back towards him, she tried to fight back until he snatched her by the neck again.

"Why do you gotta piss me off!?" He growled seeing her eyes start rolling back. When she started to fight back less he let go, not wanting her unconscious and needing medical attention. She laid on the ground, crying on the inside but refusing to show him any tears, no matter how much her throat hurt. He picked her up, laying her on the bed. "Are you okay? I didn't mean it baby. I shouldn't have gotten so mad. I'm going to fix it. Starting now." He went to the bathroom taking a quick shower. When he came out with nothing but a towel on, he went downstairs, grabbing some ice.

While he was out the room Taraji took this as a chance for her to make a call. She looked for her phone, finding it under the bed. She argued with herself about who to call first when a text came through, shifting her thought. She listened for footsteps as she opened the message seeing the picture of her and the kids that Terry found in Nola's backpack.

She wiped a stray tear as she screamed at herself. What was going to happen to her babies if this got out? Would they be taken away from her? Another message came in just as she heard a cork from a bottle pop out.

Terrence: Look I know things are going that you don't want to talk about. I don't know what exactly is happening but I know you're not happy or yourself. We're not just parents. We're friends. I hope that you'll find the strength to talk to me. If not for you for the kids. They sense things are going on. I told you that you'll never have to hide from me. No matter what it is. I meant it. I'll anyways mean it. I love you Beloved regardless of where we are in life. I want to see you smile again. If you gotta yell and cuss me out before you're ready to speak your mind then I'll take it. Just give me something to work with. I'm always gonna be here for you. I love you baby mama

She cracked a smile as she read the text. Did she tell him or did she work this out herself? She heard Kelvin coming down the hallway and tossed her phone in the drawer of her nightstand. Laying on her side, she curled into fetal position, shutting her eyes in hopes that he would leave her be. "Baby? Raji? Don't ignore me please," he begged. She didn't think he was capable of begging. He let out a sigh, leaving the room and going back downstairs. She pulled out her phone, rereading the message. This wasn't gling to be easy for her. But she could always lean on Terry until she felt confident in telling him what was going on. That wasn't asking too much of him was it?

Hope yall enjoyed
