"You look really good" Harry smiled at Draco in his black suit, they were about to go to Slughorn's Christmas party. "You do too" Draco came closer to him, Harry was also wearing a black suit but had a red tie and it wasn't as tight as Draco's. "Do you think they know about us?" Draco asked and Harry chuckled. "I think we're really obvious, if they don't know then they'll know now" Harry hummed and Draco smiled.
Draco gently pressed his lips to Harry's and Harry kissed back gently. "It's almost our one year already" Harry said with a massive smile and Draco couldn't help but smile too. "5 days" Draco hummed softly and Harry brushed his nose against his. "Alright, I think it's time to go" Harry said, taking Draco's hand and they left to Slughorn's office.
Harry noticed Hermione behind one of the curtains and he walked over, letting Draco go get drinks and talk with Neville. "Hermione. What are you doing? What happened?" Harry whispered and she huffed, rubbing her arm. She was in a pretty pink dress that showed her curves off a bit. "No, I just escaped. I mean, I left Cormac under the mistletoe." "Cormac? that's who you invited?" Harry said in a loud whisper and she shushed him.
"I thought it would annoy Ron the most. He's got more tentacles than a Snarfalump plant." Hermione huffed, looking through the curtain and one of the caterers pulled it open and showed a platter. "Dragon Tartare?" "No thanks" Harry said and Hermione mumbled something. "They give you one horribly bad breath" he said and she looked at him "On second thought, might keep Cormac at bay" She took the tray and started eating them.
"Oh god here he comes" Hermione handed Harry the platter and left quickly, Cormac came in, looking for her. "I think she just left to powder her nose" "Slippery little minx, your friend, likes to work her mouth too. Doesn't she?" Cormac said and Harry just nodded slowly. "That Malfoy is looking hella fine too, nice arse in those pants" "That's not necessary" Harry snapped suddenly, not meaning to. Cormac put some of the Dragon Tartare into his mouth before knowing what it was.
"What is this that i'm eating by the way?" Cormac asked, looking around the curtain for Hermione and possibly Draco. "Dragon balls" Harry said, and Snape opened the curtain- watching Cormac throw up on his shoes.
Harry tried to sneak away but Snape stopped him. "Sir, I really think I should rejoin the party. My date--" "can surely survive your absence for another minute or two" Snape cut him off and Harry looked back at Draco who had Hermione and Cormac talking to him, then looked back at Snape. "Besides, I only wish to convey a message." He said and Harry looked up at him.
"A message?" He said, confused. "From Professor Dumbledore. He asked me to give you his best, and he hopes you enjoy your holiday. You see, he's traveling and he wont return until term resumes." Snape said and when he asked traveling where he just walked away.
Harry huffed and walked over to his blonde and the other two. "Hey, gorgeous" Harry hummed, putting his hand on the small of his back. Hermione was stood, listening to Cormac ramble on about whatever- clearly not interested.
"Cormac was trying to hit on you, said your arse looks good. Definitely does but I snapped at him" Harry hummed, smacking his bum a bit and Draco blushed. "Don't even" Draco laughed and Harry kissed his cheek gently. "are you enjoying yourself?" "We've been here for like 15 minutes, there's not much to do" Draco answered and Harry shrugged. "Yeah that's understandable, it's quite boring" Harry laughed and Draco smiled.
"Neville ran out of drinks, mainly because Hermione kept drinking them to try and get drunk even though it's not even 1% alcoholic" Draco said, watching Cormac try and get her to dance and she just scoffed.
"I'll go pull her away for a bit, come here" Harry said, gently kissing him. Draco blushed brightly and smiled "you know, it makes my heart flutter every time you tell me to come here" Draco told him and Harry smirked "i know, I can tell. Be back in a moment" Harry winked at him and joined Hermione.
Cormac let them go get food and he walked over to Draco, putting his hand on the wall behind him. "Uh? Hello" Draco said when Cormac got close to him. "So, who are you here with?" He hummed and Draco cocked his eyebrow, crossing his arms. "Isn't obvious? I'm here with Harry" Draco said and he scoffed a bit. "You got a girl?" Cormac tried to flirt and Draco thought it was amusing.
"No-" "damn, would you like to go on a date with me" Cormac completely cut him off and Draco ran his hand through his hair. "You know, you should probably learn the be slicker, not everyone fancies you. Cormac, especially when they have a boyfriend already" Draco told him and Cormac's ears turned red.
He dropped his arm and coughed awkwardly. "Also Hermione doesn't fancy you either, not a lot of girls do actually cause you try and use them like objects. So if you don't mind me i'm going to go dance with my boyfriend and your date" Draco said confidently, walking away to the two in the other corner. "Cormac tried to hit on me and it was hilarious cause he's so bad at it"
"mmmm you're mine" Harry said, slightly grabbing Draco's throat and kissing him, Hermione wasn't playing attention anyway.
"Haz you can't do that here" Draco whined, leaning his forehead against Harry's and Harry smirked "why not, baby?" Harry hummed, squeezing a bit more and Draco bit his lip- getting turned on. "You know why" "I want you to tell me" Harry enjoyed how much this effected him and Draco let out a little noise and put his hand on Harry's wrist. "It turns me on a lot, please not now?" Draco said shyly and Harry let go and pulled him close by his waist.
"I'm sorry, love" Harry chuckled softly, kissing his nose gently and Draco put his arms around his neck. "It just makes me want to push you against the wall but kinda can't in a room full of people" Draco hummed, leaned against his forehead again and Harry smiled.
"You could always do that in the dorm room" Harry teased, and Draco laughed quietly- rolling his eyes a bit before leaning more to kiss him deeply. "Why doesn't Ron like me" Hermione whined in the corner, walking over to them and they parted lips. "Hmm?" "why can't I be good enough for that pea brain of a boy" She rubbed her face and Draco chuckled.
"He's stupid, Hun. He'll regret it real soon" Draco shifted, Harry moved on of his arms cause he knew Draco was pulling her into a hug. Draco kissed her temple and she hit his chest. "I'm not a child" "you're short like one" Draco teased and Harry laughed, kissing his cheek lightly and then Hermione's. "Anyone else wanting to ditch the party and back to the common room?" Harry asked and Draco nodded, so did Hermione.
Harry told Slughorn that they were going to bed early and said thank you for the invitation and then they left. "What are we doing for Christmas?" Hermione asked as they walked the halls together, Harry and Draco holding hands, and Harry shrugged.
"No clue, I already got a few stuff for everyone already" "what'd you get me" Draco teased and Harry squeezed his hand a bit. "You'll have to see, huh love?" Harry kissed his hand and Draco blushed.
"Well we go back in the morning so" Hermione said, taking her heels off as she walked awkwardly and Draco laughed at her. "You could of stopped walking, i would of laughed harder if you fell" Draco teased and she stuck her tongue out.
"Lets go to the dorm" They heard a voice at the end of the hall and stopped, they were about to turn to the hall to the staircase. They heard giggling and then Ron and Lavender appeared, Hermione rolled her eyes and Ron stopped, staring at her in her pretty dress and she scoffed- going down the hall. "'Mione" Draco called and Harry and him followed her.

Harry, Ron, and Draco were sat in a compartment. Draco was between Harry's legs with a book. Lavender came to the glass door and fogged the glass, drawing a heart and putting Ron and Her's initials and a little lines. Harry just looked away and played with Draco's hair lightly.
She fogged it over again so it stayed a little longer, then mouthed something that neither of them could figure out and then left down the aisle. "All she wants to do is snog me. My lips are getting chapped- look" "I'll take your word for it" Harry said, backing away a bit when he leaned in and Draco looked up.
Hermione was about to come in but saw the fogged glass- then kept walking with definite sadness. "Be right back" Draco said softly, marking his book and sitting up, he turned and pecked Harry's lips and left the compartment.
"excuse me" Draco mumbled, walking past someone stood in the aisle and he grabbed Hermione's hand and she jumped, clearly startled. "Sorry, didn't mean to spook you- here" Draco pulled her into the empty compartment that could only fit like 4 people so no one usually sat in it.
"Are you okay?" Draco asked and she sighed, rubbing her arm and looking down. "No" she mumbled and he gently lifted her chin with his finger. "You know, he'll understand what he's missing. Maybe not right now cause this is the first girl he's ever been with but we both know you two will end up together." Draco told her and she shrugged.
"What if im not good enough for him?" "Did you really just say that? he. is. a. Weasley. You don't need him in the first place, you can do SO much better, but you want him and i'm not going to stop you from liking who you want because I felt the same way with Harry" Draco said and she smiled a bit. Draco fixed her hair and gently rubbed her arm.
"How do you guys do it? you guys are already going to be together for a year in a few days" "It's called being ourselves. We argued a few times but it's destined to happen. You don't need to make Ron jealous, he's already a dumb ass. He's liked you since 2nd year but he doesn't think you like him, thats why he's with Lavender" Draco poked her shoulder and she smiled a bit, looking away.
"I think i'm going to go sit with Ginny, ill see you back at the Burrow" She said softly and she gently kissed his cheek and left. Draco chuckled before leaving a minute later, "He's literally cheating on you, i saw it" Lavender's voice said from the boy's compartment and Draco stood in the door way.
"I doubt that" Harry said, fixing his jacket. "So comforting my friend is cheating, damn" Draco interrupted and went back to his spot in between Harry's legs. "She kissed you" Lavender said, putting her hand on her hip and Draco smiled a bit.
Ron felt a weird feeling in his stomach when he heard that, jealousy? but why? "Actually, it was a kiss on the cheek like she used to do years ago. And it was like la bise" "lah bease?" She said confused and Draco scoffed, amused. "la bise, french greeting where you press your cheeks together and make a little kissy noise." Draco told her and she huffed.
"You know french?" Harry asked, surprised a bit and Draco nodded. "I speak it too" "really~" Harry brushed his nose against his neck and Draco giggled a little bit. "Oh so you are ticklish" Harry hummed, kissing his pretty skin and Draco blushed. "hmrph" Lavender huffed, leaving and Ron rolled his eyes, getting up too to follow her.
"Talk to me in french" Harry said happily and Draco leaned his head back to look at him. "Je m'appelle Draco Malfoy et j'ai un petit ami extrêmement sexy et j'espère l'épouser un jour." Draco said and Harry's heart flutter for some reason. "I-" Harry couldn't help but blush brightly and Draco laughed. "What did you say?" Harry asked and Draco winked. "That's a secret for me and the other french people" "tell me please~" Harry said, kissing his lips slowly and Draco hummed pleasingly.
"I said, My name is Draco Malfoy and I have an extremely hot boyfriend and I hope to marry him one day." Draco said softly and Harry smiled brightly. "Did you actually?" "yes, my love" Draco said and Harry kissed him again. "It's very attractive when you speak french" Harry said against his lips and Draco smirked. "I'll do it more then, you should learn so i can talk dirty to you in front of people" Draco teased and Harry blushed "Oh shush, you" Harry put his hand on Draco's inner thigh and continued to kiss him slowly.

"Merry Christmas, Harry" Hermione hugged the boy and he hugged him back. "Merry Christmas, Hermione" He said back and he went to hug Molly too. "Wow" Harry stopped in his tracks when he saw Draco coming out of the downstairs bathroom, his jumper was off besides the sleeves over his forearms as he was about to pull it on. "mmm damn" Harry strolled over to him as he put his jumper on over his chest. "I wanna see more of that" Harry chuckled, kissing him softly and Draco smiled against his lips.
"Merry Christmas, Sweetheart" Harry said softly and Draco smiled. "Merry Christmas" he hummed, rubbing his chest lightly. "Bonne année, mon amour" Draco said beautifully and Harry blushed, Draco leaned close and kissed his ear. "What does that one mean?" Harry asked and Draco brushed his lips to Harry's neck.
"Happy one year, my love" Draco said again and Harry smiled brightly, blushing at Draco's lips at his neck. "Happy one year, Darling" Harry told him and Draco smiled against his skin.
"Boys, your hot chocolate is ready" Molly called and Draco moved back, brushing his nose against Harry's and they went to the living room. Everyone was sat around on the couches and Harry sat down in between Hermione and Ron. Draco sat between his legs on the floor in front of the coffee table and took his hot chocolate.
"So what'd you get me" Draco looked up at him and Harry leaned forward, putting his arms over his shoulders to rest them on his chest. "You'll have to wait" Harry winked and Draco laughed, pecking his lips.
Ginny joined them soon and sat next to Ron. Molly handed everyone their gifts so Harry leaned back to put it in his lap, Draco had took a sip of his hot coco before setting it down and taking Molly's gift.
Everyone got the notorious Weasley jumper and Harry got a few books from Hermione, sweets from Ron and Cologne from Remus and Tonks. "Your turn" Harry placed a small, flat present in Draco's lap and he smiled up at him. He ripped it open and smiled even more. It was their photo from 4th year in a frame at the yule ball, both in their suits and looking rather handsome.
"I love it" Draco said happily and Harry kissed his head. "That's not all but what did you get me huh" Harry teased, poking his tummy a bit and Draco blushed. "It's not as cute" Draco handed a box with a little ribbon to him and Harry opened it and smiled.
Inside was a Polaroid camera with a few things of film packets and a book to put them in. "Our Adventures" Harry chuckled, reading the book cover and the front picture was of them when they were in first year. "Is it okay?" Draco asked and Harry chuckled.
"It's perfect, love" Draco smiled brightly, and Harry kissed his nose gently. Ginny cocked her eyebrow, confused why he just did that- obviously not knowing they've been together for a year.
"One last thing, though" Harry hummed, shifting on his leg to pull something out and Draco hummed. Harry leaned forward to show the box to him and Draco stopped fiddling with the wrapping paper. The others stopped talking to see what Harry got him, "Happy one year, Dragon" Harry said softly, opening the small box and showing the really pretty promise ring.
It was a silver band that crossed slightly with little diamonds all over it, in the middle was a larger diamond that reflected some of the shiny Christmas lights. "Oh my god" Draco whispered, covering his mouth and he looked up at Harry who backed up a bit to look down at him. "What huh?" "it's so pretty-" Draco almost started crying so Harry kissed his forehead. "It's a promise ring, obviously" Harry hummed, pulling it out of the little box.
"What's your promise~" Draco asked, looking back at it and Harry slid it on his finger from behind, resting his chin on the top of his head. "I promise.. to replace this ring with an engagement ring" Harry said softly, raising the boy's hand to his lips and kissing it gently. "Lord I think my heart stopped for a second" Draco laughed and Hermione laughed. Molly was smiling brightly and Tonks leaned on Remus's shoulder, smiling too.
Ginny was confused as ever and Ron just smiled a bit. Fred and George was popping a Christmas popper over them so the confetti would fall on them. "Oi" they both said and the group laughed.

"Are you going to bed?" Draco asked later that night, Harry was sat on the stairs waiting for him and he stood up. "About to, I was waiting for you" Harry gently put his hands on his hips and pecked his lips. A loud swooshing noise made them part and look out the window.
Fire suddenly lit around the whole Burrow and Death eaters swooped down. "let's go" Harry grabbed Draco's hand and they ran down the stairs. "Harry no!" Remus yelled when Harry ran after Bellatrix who ran into the tall grass. "Fuck sake, Harry!" Draco ran after him, Remus ran after both of the boys.
The fire cut Remus and Tonks off so they had to control it. "I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black!" Bellatrix chanted and Harry ran really fast through the tall grass that slapped his arms and face slightly but he didn't care. He would have to jump occasionally over roots and rocks so he didn't trip.
He stopped suddenly, panting heavily- looking around. Her voice disappeared. Harry started running again and Draco got lost, he stopped and looked around- he heard a noise and he turned to where it was coming from. "Harry?" Draco said and Fenrir Greyback, the werewolf death eater slowly came from the grass and Draco slowly backed up through the water.
Greyback stopped and Draco's head snapped to the sudden noise and Harry appeared. "Stupefy!" He yelled, shooting it at Greyback but he blocked it and shot up into smoke. A lot of noises were happening and they kept their wands dueled, looking back and forth. Suddenly spells were fired and Harry blocked them, Remus and Tonks ran to them, so did Arthur.
Harry grabbed Draco's hand tightly and they watched the death eaters shoot up into the sky from the field and fly through the Burrow windows, catching it on fire. "Molly!" Arthur ran and they followed him quickly.
Hermione went over to Harry and Draco and pressed her head to Harry's chest and Harry but his arm around her. Draco rubbed her back and they all watched the burrow burn. Fred put his arm around George's shoulder and his twin his his arm around his back and looked down.

"Are you okay?" Draco asked Ron while they sat on the train back to Hogwarts and he shrugged. "Do you think I'm a decent boyfriend?" "How would I know the answer to that" Draco said and he shrugged again. "I just feel like being with her isn't the right thing" Ron said and Draco smiled a bit. "Cause it's not, we both know- heart to heart- that you and Hermione are supposed to be together" Draco said and Ron's ears turned red.
"Hey boys" Hermione came and and Ron blushed even more and Draco chuckled, "Hey 'Mione" Draco said and Harry joined right behind her, he sat down and Draco turned his head cause he wasn't looking at him. "What's wrong" Draco said and Hermione sat next to Ron, "Nothing" "Don't even, come on" Draco took his hand and kissed it lightly.
"Leave, please" Draco mouthed to Hermione and she nodded, taking Ron's hand and pulling him out of the compartment. Draco sighed, standing up and pulling the boy up. "Come on, tell me please" Draco said softly, making Harry put his arm over his shoulders and then setting his hands on Harry's waist.
"They found me so easily, what if they hurt the Weasley's or you- because of me.. I literally made them lose their house just because I was living there.." Harry said sadly so Draco gently kissed his lips.
"Baby, it's really not your fault. Just be careful okay?" Draco told him and Harry nodded, wrapping his arms around him more and hugging him tightly. "Oh love" Draco pouted a bit and putting his arms around his waist completely and hugging him back. "I love you so much, baby" Draco told him and Harry hummed a bit. "I love you too, Dragon"
