2 weeks passed away in a blur. Today is my and Stuti's engagement.
Finally I will become his officially.
Stuti is also happy about her engagement. She has talked with Suryash jiju in this time span.
And I can say that my little sis is slowly falling for her husband.
Falling in love doesn't take time. It's not that you need this particular time span to fall for someone.
It takes one look to fall for someone. I did. When I first saw him my heart skipped a beat and violin music started to play. Rose petals were everywhere and a strong wind was blowing everything.
If you think this happens then no it's not the thing.
Nothing short of like this happened. But just a smile formed on my face when I first saw him when he was singing.
His mesmerising voice stole my heart a long back before his handsome face can do.
It all felt so unreal I could not understand what actually happened but slowly I realised that I had fallen for him.
And I can see the symptoms in stuti as well.
"Turu when will you get ready? Come on." Mumma screamed from downstairs
I sighed and wore my dress that is white off shoulder blouse with golden work over it along with white lehenga with golden thread square work accompanied with golden net dupatta with pearl work at the border. I paired it with green stone and white pearl jewelry.
I didn't wear earrings because I wore maang tikka and Necklace.
I did my hair and make up. And tada I'm ready to go.
I only wore a big ring and a kangan. Not many bangles.
Well I'm looking pretty good.
Lets see what stuti madam is doing.
I knocked on her door and she said to come in.
I enter her room and wow my girl is looking pretty.
She is wearing a nude purplish grey lehenga with pearl dot work over it and a heavy pearl work border. The blouse is of pearl work with three fourth sleeves with the same colour sparkling heavy dupatta and a waist band.
She has worn a lot of jewellery as per my Mumma's order.
I bet her lehenga is heavier than mine.
I like light ones, that's why I chose a light one.
Mumma chose a heavy one for me as well but I denied but my dear stuti could not deny.
She is a good girl but I'm not.
"tu kuch bolegi vi ya yuhi ghurti rahegi mujhe? (will you say something or only stare at me like a creep?) " her voice bring me back from my la la land
"oye mai ghur nahi Rahi thi mai to soch rahi thi ke mere jiju ko vagban hi bachaye kahi behosh na ho jaye vo. (oh hello I wasn't staring at you like a creep i was only thinking about my brother in law that God save him from fainting.)" I told her and she blushed
I see my brother in law has that effect on her.
" Aur mai vi yahi soch rahi hu ki Aashu kahi aj hi na shadi karle tujhse. (I'm also thinking that maybe Aashu will marry you today only.) "she said and now it's my cue to be go all red
" OK ok now stop it. We don't look like tomatoes in front of our husband's and family. "I told her and she only laughed
" Turu, have you decided what gift you will give Aashu? "she asked
Because I told her that I will give him some gift.
"yeah I have decided what to give and I will give it today only." I told her about my gift.
"what's it?" she asked but I shook my head
Soon Mumma came with some other aunty's to take us. The engagement is held in a nearby marriage hall.
Our house isn't big enough for it.
We all reached there and found both grooms were there with their family.
Aashu has come with his brother and a few friends.
They don't invite any of their relatives because his brother has cut ties with them.
It's not a big function but not a small one as well.
My eyes got locked with Aashu who is looking so handsome.
He also mouthed 'beautiful' for me
I blushed at that. Nowadays I'm blushing a lot.
I guess it affects engagement.
I look at Stuti who is also looking at her husband. They both are so lost in each other's eyes.
I elbowed her to break her eye lock because Mumma is looking at us.
"stuti come on don't look at him now. First put the ring on him and let him do the same then stare as much you want but for now Mumma is looking at us only." I told her and she nodded her head hurriedly
We both went towards them when Momma told us to.
We have to take blessings from the elder ones but no one let us say that daughters don't touch feet. They have a place in their heart , not in their feet.
And to be honest Shruti's mother in law is awesome unlike Mumma. She has no superstitious belief or any orthodox thinking...
I'm really happy for her. She will get a loving family after getting married as well.
I don't know why I'm feeling someone's gaze on me but I can't find out who is staring at me. It's making me feel uncomfortable.
"it's time for the engagement ceremony." papa said
Mumma came with our engagement rings.

Both rings are given by our husbands family.
We wanted to buy it but they didn't allow us to.
Even they are taking care of half the expenses as well.
Our so called bitchy relatives got burnt in jealousy.
Those gossip aunties always praise our family.
I can sense the burn in their voice and its really give me happiness
I held the engagement ring so did stuti.
We looked at each other and together we put it on our husband's ring finger.
Everyone clapped at that and now it's time for them to make us wear it.
When Aashu made me wear it I felt a connection with him. Something more close, something more strong.
I closed my eyes when he took my hand and kissed my knuckles.
I opened my eyes and unintentionally locked my eyes with Aaryav bhai.
I couldn't look at it for a long time and I averted my eyes.
His eyes are the same as the eyes I see in my nightmares. And the same I saw in that club. But how is that possible?

I don't want to think about those horrible things today.

"you're looking at a breathtaking doll face. You look good in whatever you wear. I'm just wondering how will you look without them on you?" he said and I looked at him shocked
My sweet Aashu has become naughty and a pervert.
"dream on Mr. Because that's what you can." I told him with a smirk
"oh believe me I do much more to you in my dreams." He said and I glared at him
"OK I will shut up now." He said
I nodded and thought to give my surprise gift to him.
